Cool video. Saw you on another channel talking about your time at OSU - Go Pokes! My family actually set up an aviation scholarship in my father's name at OState. Gary R Lentz. Looking to get back into the air in the next year or two - maybe you'll see my name across your desk one day.

Hi there! Believe it or not I was a recipient of the Gary Lentz Memorial scholarship, I think in 2015 or 2016. It was an honor to recieve!

Wow!!! I'm blown away! I was very very close to my dad and have wonderful memories of him teaching me to fly. His passion was unmatched.
My mother Eula is actually here in Costa Rica visiting me right now and I showed her your videos and this response. She recalled you instantly just by seeing your name. She is thrilled for you and is very very proud to see that you have chased and lived your dream! I would like to contact you directly if possible and learn more about the careers that are available through your company and others like it.

Captains fly the cj3 at tradewind. Right?

You don't use/program "RNW SLOPE"? I have the impression that this is important during takeoff/landing performance..

Porline 21 is so far behind of a Garmin G3000! It's too complicated:D Looks like NOKIA from 2000-th in Ipad's ERA

Makes a great avionics suite for a future airline guy. The Proline 21 was the first FMS I learned…it’s pretty much exactly what the CRJ uses without having ACARS. But I agree, the G3000 is much nicer and if I had to fly the jet single pilot, I’d rather do it with the garmin instead of the proline.

Can you silence the CJ3 landing gear warning on approach? If so how?

      Put the gear down?

Yes, there is a gear silence button next to the gear lever, but if the flaps are selected full with gear up it cannot be silenced.
