How were you getting those little light lures down to 70’? Also how were you so sure of your lure depths? Line counter and add some for drift or??
Spoons were pretty heavy. used length of the rod to get depth. Usually 10 ft every time you raised the rod up. Hope that helps.
You can also measure out how much line goes out with each rotation. We use level wind reels and know how much each pass pays out.
