I disagree with the "opportunities in nursing". I have been an RN for 15 years, and once you are in a specialty or even med surg it's almost impossible to get into a new area, because all the hospitals want someone with experience in that area already, it's very frustrating! I want a NICU position and have been applying for many years, and that's to any maternal child health job, and maybe two interviews and always "we need a nurse with experience in this area". When I apply for jobs I get "oh, we need a nurse with experience in ________, BUT would you be interested in the ER. NOOOOO, did I apply to the ER? So frustrating!
Hi dear, thank you for your inspiring videos. I was watching you saying that you went to ADNP with a newborn. Could you tell me how you did it by yourself? How did you manage babysitting with a tight budget while schooling? I was wondering how to schooling in advance practice with newborn and family. Thank you and congratulations on your beautiful family.🙏🙏

Hi, how are you ? I am a FNP and I am finishing up my DNP program now.. I am thinking about going to CRNA school after my DNP..I don’t have ICU experience yet. What is the best option for NPs to become CRNA. Thank you for all the CRNA information.
Thanks for your comment. Before I started CRNA school, I worked in the ICU. Initially, I was going to school for acute care NP, but changed schools in order to become a CRNA. Thus, I believe and not 100 perfect sure, but you will still have to get ICU experience, minimum of 1 year. Then, you will have to apply to a CRNA school. Some classes from your FNP program might transfer over depending on the CRNA school. I would recommend that you start doing some research on a few CRNA schools your interested in and speak to them in regards to the steps you will need in order to transfer into a CRNA program to become a CRNA. I hope this answers your question. Thanks again.
Thrive CRNA This helps a lot. I am in the process of transferring to a ICU now so I can get that experience. I have been in contact with few schools, some of them waved few class. I hope to get into the program sometime in 2021. Thank you all ur videos. It helps a lot.

Thanks for posting the video. But I just wish this video compared apples-to-apples when comparing salaries. When somebody mentions a salary in California is very high, that doesn’t take into comparison but that doesn’t take into account the cost of living.
