Thanks so much for the tutorial. I am a beginner with my grandmother’s sewing machine and your video has helped me make the most perfect pillow finish for my Easter cross stitch. Perfect for a beginner like me 😊

Excellent tutorial Helen! Thank you! Very cute pillow!
Thank you Helen for your very informative tutorial.
Thank you for sharing your finishing techniques and tips!
I love the idea of stuffing the corners with yarn! That`s alot more “workable” than trying to wad stuffing in there - am going to try this the next time! Enjoyed this video - thanks!
Cute pillow!!! Thanks Helen for the great instructions! I need to get busy stitching so I can make some pillows!!
Excellent tutorial Helen,thanks.
Thank you for another helpful tutorial. Adorable pattern too!

Thanks again ! I enjoy every one of your tuts ♡♡♡♡♡
Thank you for another great tutorial!
Greetings from Arkansas! Always love your tutorials😊
Thank you. Loved the tutorial because you taught an old lady some new tricks-like how to sew the pompoms on instead of gluing. I like them sewn much better even if it takes more time. Also like how you ironed the almost finished pillow to flatten it a bit. I’m going to do that to pillows I’ve already made to see if it makes them less lumpy.
Thank you Elizabeth! It does take more time to sew the pom poms, but I think it's worth it. :)
Thanks for the tutorial. Looks wonderful.
Great tutorial! I absolutely loved this video, but I always enjoy yours.Your little pillow is cute as can be. I want to stitch everything you do. I'm gonna have to order that pattern now. Thanks so much for sharing.
Nicely done. Thank you.
Fantastic tutorial Helen thank you so much for sharing Angela in ireland ☘️🇮🇪🙃❤️
Hi Helen. Thanks so much for all your tutorials. The videos are straight forward and easy to follow. As a non-sewer, I feel I could actually attempt finishing things. I do have trouble seeing everything your doing because the area your working in is a little dark. Maybe it's my old eyes. I think if there were so additional lighting, I could better see everything your doing more easily. Thanks for the great tutorial and have a great, stitchy day!
Hi Laura. Thank you for the feedback. I'll try and figure out some extra lighting next time. :)
Precious, I love it.
Hello Helen...nice job...great tutorial with references❤️
Helen I use 14 count Aida and DMC yarn and a I do not sew tight but it dosen,'t always cover. I looked at yours and your stitches are perfect. I love all of your tutorials

Very nice! And helpful.
Heads up. I'm binge watching your channel. Just finished number 4. I'll try to keep my comments short. 😌
That's a scary thought, I bet those early videos are rough! :)

Thank you so much great tutorial
Great show fabulous I have many not😳finished tutorial are my friend they hold my hand 🤚
This was super helpful, thank you!
You can sew pompoms onto front piece. Use zipper foot and it will guide along the pompom edging. Then sew front back and still leave opening on the bottom .
Thanks for the tip, I"m always learning too! I tried this with ric rac yesterday and it worked great!
I just got a Brother machine too and I’m practicing before I make a pillow 😂 I’ve discovered I’m a ways away from binding. This seems a little closer to my level❤
OMG! Me over here, trying to sew the decorative stitches AFTER I make the pillow! LOL!
Thank you so much for these!
Once again a great tutorial and I love the two pieces on the back! Thanks Helen for sharing your time with us!
Thanks for another awesome tutorial. You do a great job. The chick on the egg is adorable!

Love this! And thanks for the tips 💛
Great tips about adding the tiny Pom poms!
Thanks for sharing.
Great fabric find in your stash to coordinate with the stitched design! It turned out so cute - your pillows always are! Thanks for showing how you stitched on the pom pom trim; I will need to order some so I can give it a try! And great tip about ironing the pillow once it's been stuffed - not too plump or too flat but perfect!
I LOVE these tutorials!!! Thank you so much I am learning so much from you. You explain everything so well.
Just the cutest! Great tutorial! Love the pastel fabric choices that made this pillow “Pop!” Or, should I say, “Peep!?” 😊❤️🐣
Thank you for the tutorial, that Easter pillow is adorable ♡
Very clear tutorial! You always explain each step so well. Darling finish!
Loved this tutorial! I finished a small pillow like yours ! I love that folded fabric accent! I used a fancy stitch on my machine instead of doing the X's ! I posted on IG !
Super cute !! Thanks so much for taking the time to make this tutorial !
Thanks for.the tutorial.
Thank you so much for showing us how to make such a cute, cute pillow! It inspires me to stitch and to think of how to use all the trims in my stash!
Hi Helen, thanks so much for another inspiring and informative tutorial. I really appreciate you taking the time to make these videos. You have a fantastic eye for finishing ❤️
Thank you for the tutorial. I've done plenty of sewing when I was younger, but it was pretty exclusively making clothes. Believe it or not, I've been a bit intimidated by anything beyond the basic pillow finish with a front piece and a back piece. I've also never known the trick with the pom poms. I've always stitched them into the seams and struggled to keep them straight. This will be much easier I think!
Hand stitching the poms takes longer, but I think it makes it easier to get them where you want them. :)
@@helend.flosstube It probably doesn't take much longer.. keeping the edging in the seam and straight can be pretty fiddly! :)
Thanks Helen, great tips about "poms and tails" I've had gaps before and your technique was like a light bulb 💡😄
Thank you. I really appreciate your doing these tut’s for us
Love your tutorials. Your finishing work is so nicely done.
Another great tutorial Helen, thank you so much for the time you shared with us! 💚
Hello from Oklahoma! Helen, this is an outstanding tutorial! Thank you so much for sharing your time, experience, and knowledge with me.
Excellent tutorial Helen. If you have fancy stitches on your sewing machine you could use them as well to decorate the seam line. I will have to try the 950f interfacing. My favorite stuffing was a big box of upholstery batt that I had. But when we moved across the country I gave almost all of it away. I've been hoarding a little bag full to stuff little felt critters.
The machine stitches are a great idea!
That was great. That chicken is so cute!
Excellent tutorial! Gives me many ideas for finishing and I’m lucky enough to have a machine with decorative stitches! Thanks so much for the freebies. I’ve stitched the Easter one and love stitching words!
Thank you 😊
Thank you Helen for this informative tutorial. I have not used pom poms in my finishing yet but this has given me the information I need to try them.
Another great finishing tutorial Helen, thanks! Stay safe ❤

Great video thank you for sharing your tutorial. Have a wonderful day and happy stitching 🧵 😊💗🤗🪡
You did a great job, and made it look so easy. Melted poms, yikes, once is enough!!!
Great tutorial! If someone wants to get a little more detailed (and fun!), the decorative stitches could be little chicken tracks wandering around. Love your work, very inspiring.
That would be adorable!
