TheGameSystemMiners that happened to my 3 headsets and 4 of my friends' too. We think that it is designed to fail so that you buy another. I suggest buying the Xbox one stereo headset as a replacement.
Same, I plug in my headset and the Larry says no headset can be found. I’ve tried my headset on my brothers xbox and it works but my brothers working headset doesn’t connect to my Xbox. It’s to weird
if you can't hear sound restart your Xbox then unplug the Xbox wait a few seconds turn off the controller then turn on the Xbox manually then use a charger of any kind that fits the controller and plug it in and test you headphones
I've tried all of these suggestions and I still can't get the controllers to work they just continually disconnect sending it back to Amazon very unhappy fingers crossed replacement will work

If your having problems and none of these work, then you really should consider making sure that your batteries are fully charged, as that was the issue with myne. With the old batteries i had in it, it wouldnt sync either. Now with fully charged ones, it works.
Everyone if you can plug a cable in the headphone jack and go to controller settings make sure under volume you have mic slider turned on. Only works when putting in headphone jack not headset audio controller

just got for xbox one... (1) plugged splitter into the single hole on controler (2) find audio in xbox settings and turn it off but, (3) make sure the mic is turned on in settings and up all the way.... the audio plays in headset anyways.... Hope this helps someone, peace :) p.s. mic needs turned on in capture settings also.
My controller's joystick broke, so I am getting a new remote. But the thing that attaches to the remote (Not the headphone jack) won't come out of the remote. Is there a way to get it out? Or do I need a new headset to use it with a different remote? Pls respond

Hi, try updating your controller with the headset plugged in or perhaps the mic isn't working. Can you try it on a friends Xbox and their controller or if you have a newer headset with a 3.5mm plug maybe you can test it on a pc/laptop.

Easy thing to do if your headphone jack doesn’t work is take a drop of water and slosh it around in it. This gets rid of any dust.

You need to update your controller while the Xbox USB cord is in and the headset is installed to the controller.
