Dam bubba can ride..I saw him at the RCA dome in Indianapolis in the early 2000s..he's one of the smoothest riders I've ever seen..and I've seen nearly 20yrs of supercross in Indy
watch his throttle control 2:38 in slow motion. also before that he jumps into the berm with no fingers on the front brake lever, also he dont use back brake either, he uses the engine to slow him down or faster whenever he want! awesome!
@Baragon540 I agree things are easier in the air but changing gears on the ground is easier under certain conditions. yea riding a super rutted and rough track would be easier to change gears in the air but most supercross tracks dont get that way.its all perspective I guess
@socafan22 That may be so, but what about KTM? They are the leader in 2t tech, since everyone has started dropping or rapidly decreasing the production of 2 strokes. Factory riders are still riding their 4 stroke bikes, even when they are thriving off of 2 stroke production.
dude im not tryin to start an accident and i looked back at the misspelled words but it is cause my key board is so stiff that i dont press all the way sometimes
@crfC93 i just didn't realize it was a joke. and I'm not serious or was trying to insult anyone, supercross is also just mostly in the US and was created there and i dont know what country you are from so maybe you didn't know anything about SX or not. I guess everything has been sorted out now though, right?
@socafan22 Yamaha was the leader in 4stroke technology for a while, and if not still. They were one of the few 4t companys that didnt have valve problems left and right, although most of those vavle problems were due to riding on incorrect clearance. As for Yamaha being the leader in 2stroke technology, I think that back in its hayday, everyones 2 strokes were neck to neck. The point i was trying to make about KTM is that while most other companies are dropping 2t, they are thriving on it.
@rewindcaz yeah, sure he has a fast pace, but there is little chance that he will be able to keep that up all season, reed is going to come out swinging
@crfC93 hes not landing nose heavy, he is landing with the front tire down cuz its better for supercross. and I don't care what type of bike people ride, its the rider. and James Stewart has that basic style for supercross which works best in almost all supercross style.
Stewart is the most amazing rider to watch hands down
i wish i could meet james and watch him ride.that would make my life.hes my all time favorite ridr.i want to meet him so bad.
11 Years later this pops into my recommend
In another universe, James Stewart is a 4 time supercross champion with over 60 supercross wins

If you watch closely you can watch his throttle input over each whoop.....crazy

James is one of the fastest racers, nobody is always the fastest all the time, but R.C. did a pretty good job of trying!NO RACIST COMMENTS THANK YOU!
My god, I forgot how fuckin stiff he liked his suspension setup.
Yeah, easy to see. This video does a great job in highlighting the finer points of his technique and bike setup.
He calls himself the fastest man on the planet for a reason he still is he just wrecks a lot.
@mrBraapppppp just wondering how many races you have under your belt?and what class do you race in?
Fastest man on the planet right here.
poetry in motion
@NeRvExNaTiOn
No, you use the rear brake to drop the front end in the air, not the front brake.

Like him or not..he's the fastest man on the Planet...
anyone know what gear they typically start in off the line going for the holeshot?
@MrSweetleaf92 Those "humps" are called the whoops section of a motocross track. Good question
@Baragon540 I agree things are easier in the air but changing gears on the ground is easier under certain conditions. yea riding a super rutted and rough track would be easier to change gears in the air but most supercross tracks dont get that way.its all perspective I guess
@toughtotacle27 Same here, if you aren't crashing you aren't learning. But he is always hospitalized for stupid things. "My toe hurts, I need a cast!"

@socafan22 That may be so, but what about KTM? They are the leader in 2t tech, since everyone has started dropping or rapidly decreasing the production of 2 strokes. Factory riders are still riding their 4 stroke bikes, even when they are thriving off of 2 stroke production.
