Abandoned Coach House Conversion: Plastering the Living Room

Living Room progress in the Abandoned Coach House / Barn Conversion. Using Gypsum & then Lime over the wood fibre insulation. They both have their uses but doing both so close together, one really appreciates how much more work is involved in a Hot Mix Lime Plaster. So worth it in my opinion.
I hope you don't mind but I've also snuck making Ziggy a reclaimed cat scratching post to try and deter hime from destroying the sofa!
For the Lime:
Insulating Lime - Perlite, Quicklime & Hemp
Plastering / Rendering Lime - Quicklime & Silica Sand
Fine Plastering Mesh
All above sourced from Eden Hot Lime

@@theroundcorneryes, I was out here suggesting sisal rope the whole time you were wrapping the pole. 😅 Also, you need to redirect him away from your furniture and onto the pole a few times for him to get the idea of what you want him to do with the scratching post, lol.
