    Tyshawn is a bad cat! Fantastic technique, beautiful tone, groove, crazy rhythmns& adventure.. Love his compositions too! Got a lot of his albums
    The one i like his ( spacy) playing most is on the Samuel Blaser album Pieces of old sky; Beautiful!
    Saw him live with Steve Lehman octet in Bimhuis in Amsterdam . Very very good.

    synthetic drumheads sound artificial and non-musical to me. I urge all drummers to experience real skin (calf or goat) heads.

      I think the goats and calves need that skin more than we do!
