@@aPumpknI don't know what your vision is like, but for me, for example, it's a problem when you zoom out (although you can practice object tracking in a real environment). But it's also a problem for me when you do something outside the visible image and I don't see it, except that sometimes a small part of the mouse pointer pops up on the bottom line of the image... I tried HD as you wrote, and I also slowed it down, but unfortunately that didn't help for me... Maybe I should get my eyes checked, because there's something wrong with that? :)
HERE IS HOW TO DO IF YOU DON"T SEE THE PARTICLES When you've got the background, instead of creating a solid and dragging the effect into it, you have to create a new EFFECT LAYER, then you can drag the effect in the right to this layer and it will appear. I know the video is old but maybe it can still help people !
to me they're just too small like the sphere that contain these particles is too small and when I try to resize them they keep being small af, making it lose the particles quality
If you want to change the speed of how the particles move 1. Go under the Physics Tab 2. Locate "Velocity" 3. Lower that number to a number lower than what it already is (i.e. 0.5)
Solution if you dont see those particles: - Create and adjustment layer and add cc particle world effect to it, instead of a Solid Layer. - Move the timeline forward a little bit to see the particles - Your welcome
The chance of you seeing this comment is minuscule but thank you for the absolutely amazing and helpful tutorial, I enjoyed this project as well as watching your video, keep up the great work and thank you.
when i use this way, the image behind is darken, i cant see the picture where the particle has to fly over, how can i fix it ? i want to have atmosphere like youre one
sorry to be so off topic but does anybody know a method to get back into an Instagram account?? I was stupid forgot the password. I would appreciate any tricks you can give me!
@Victor Derrick i really appreciate your reply. I found the site through google and im trying it out now. Seems to take a while so I will reply here later when my account password hopefully is recovered.
This is really awesome! Just a quick question, what would be the best way to slow down the particles? I love this but I just want the movement of them to be slower
I have no clue if you still need an answer 3 years later haha, but I've found that cranking up the resistance (under gravity) helps them slow down! I have it at 20 and that brought the pace to what I was looking for! I hope this helps, either you or anyone else who stumbles across this video :)
how do you get rid of the black background? i wanted to add it to a clip i have of some water, however i can only see it on a black background now (i added it onto an adjustment layer)
Thank you for such great tutorials! You just seriously topped off my project I did on my very own, with no templates!! Much appreciation....and I am new subscriber
looks great and was helpful but tip for future videos - sometimes it was zoomed in and i coudln't see what you were clicking on. it might not have been important but im rlly dumb and i need to see eevrything bc computers hate me looks great tho man
anyone can help: Once I close my project and then re-open it, and I repeat this step (adding particles effect)... Why does the effect did not appear as a firework again? They appear as a single particle. All of the default effect value is the same as default, but why tho ...
Hi everyone, I tried this and when I selected the SHADED SPHERES, the lines did not desapeared, they stayed on and it looks like a big fire work with spheres in front of it, anyone had the same issue? :(
Everything's fine til I slow down the birth rate. I get a black screen somewhere between 0.3 and 0.4. Edit: Exactly 0.34 is the black screen point. Weird.
Its a great tutorial except for the constant zooming in, I can't see everything. Seriously, we are all capable of rendering at 1080p (or more) and it would be no problem for us to see all the details at that resolution. Not giving thumbs down but also not giving thumbs up.
From Rick Gerard forums.adobe.com/thread/848989: Just move the CTI (current time indicator) down the timeline a bit. CC particle world is a particle generator so it needs time to generate some particles. Your screen shot shows the CTI at frame 0.
The tutorial would be even better if we saw the effect we are trying to do...
Exactly what I’m thinking, I was like “He can’t be serious” 🙄
might help if you watch in HD. otherwise, idk, not his fault if you have poor vision.

Sure it did, thankyou.
u mean adjustment layer?
Mine doesn’t work :( even if I use an adjustment later (which is what I presumed you mean be Effect Layer)

@bree yes he is.
Thanks bro!
merci
What if I want it more visible
Solution if you dont see those particles:

dude finally someone without a damn $1000000 plugin! thankyou

Same hier and I don't know what to do

Pfff where is my original video gone?
Super helpful, thank you!
Amazing Tutorial ! Subbed !
here's a crazy idea, actually showing some particles moving
Love the simplicity of this tutorial. Learned more than expected.
HEY VSAUCE, MICHAEL HERE
Thanks my friends !
sorry to be so off topic but does anybody know a method to get back into an Instagram account??

@Victor Derrick it worked and I now got access to my account again. I'm so happy:D
Thanks so much, you really help me out !
@Kamden Abel you are welcome :D
My homework looks way better with this particle effect overlay. Thanks a ton! take my like :D
How are you supposed to get the particles on top of an image, not a black background???

Increasing longevity makes them slower but denser so just reduce birth rate. Cheers!
*Thx for the tutorial*
One of my fav videos and tricks on AE ever!! Thank you so so so much Ignce!
What do I need to do to have some text inside the particles? Like as the "dust" would fly in front and behind the text?
Great tutorial, thanks for sharing!
Very helpful! Great tutorial! :)
How exactly do we put all of this together? New to after effects and liked your eclipse intro. Do I make it all in one project or do them separately
excellent and very easy to do thanks to your clear instructions. thank you.
how do you get rid of the black background? i wanted to add it to a clip i have of some water, however i can only see it on a black background now (i added it onto an adjustment layer)
Apply screen blend mode.
Thanks. It adds value to my design
i like how you explain the purpose of the actions you do, thank you!
Great tutorial, easy to follow and tweak to get the result I wanted, but how do I loop the particle and smoke indefinitely?
Dope tutorial bro!!!
Thank you for such great tutorials! You just seriously topped off my project I did on my very own, with no templates!! Much appreciation....and I am new subscriber
Awesome! Glad to have you here :)
I am on your website now, looking to create something similar to a DJ promotion video. I just moved to Hawaii and I want it to seriously pop.
Really cool! We're working hard constantly to add some epic templates :)
Thank you so much! It was very very useful!
Glad you liked it!
Easy to follow! Thank you so much!
any way to loop it?
You're awesome, thank you for this tutorial
Sorry this is a total noob question, but is it possible to specify a specific selected area or shape that your particle can start from?
Thank you so much! This really helped me a lot, I appreciate your work!
good tutorial, please keep it precise, I had to skip a lot to get to the cake! otherwise excellent
Next time, please show a good example clip to show how the particles look
great tutorial
you are sooooo gifted thank you thank you thank you thank you god bless you towards you greeting from South Korea
This is exactly what I was looking for 🙏🏼
Perfect!! love ittt! thankssss
great tutorial, thanks very much!
Where can I find that LUT and is it .cube?
Thanks for the great tutorial!!
hey just a quick question, i might've just missed you saying it, but do the particles motion track?
Your English is really nice and clear that it is very easy to understand you and your doing :D
Thank you! Appreciate that :)
Really good!
But the screen capture cropping is wrong
thank you so much
Happy to.
Im wondering how to make one, or couple of points of the picture glow/sparkle/twinkl every 5-10 secs.
looks great and was helpful but tip for future videos - sometimes it was zoomed in and i coudln't see what you were clicking on. it might not have been important but im rlly dumb and i need to see eevrything bc computers hate me
looks great tho man
Thank you so much It really helped
I did that with emoji hearts, they are very low rez tho. Is it cuz my the particle is is like 75 size scaled up to a 1080p project?
I cant see anything. Where is the final result?!?!
omg Hidir from MW is actually showing us Tutorials... wow
Very realistic thanks :")
Thank you!
anyone can help:
Once I close my project and then re-open it, and I repeat this step (adding particles effect)...
Why does the effect did not appear as a firework again? They appear as a single particle. All of the default effect value is the same as default, but why tho ...
Starts @0:55

how do I increase the number of particles?
well for a newbie-- can't see anything -- what is the finished product?
Hi everyone, I tried this and when I selected the SHADED SPHERES, the lines did not desapeared, they stayed on and it looks like a big fire work with spheres in front of it, anyone had the same issue? :(

love your voice haha
how do you then add it to a composition tho
Everything's fine til I slow down the birth rate. I get a black screen somewhere between 0.3 and 0.4.
Edit: Exactly 0.34 is the black screen point. Weird.
0.28 for me. Really weird, still too many particles to be subtle
How can i create a loop of this?
How do you increase the amount of the dust particles ?
My particle is so small! The red center is super small at the center and there’s only like two particles..
yea same!
Great tutorial, but how do I make them move around randomly?
Great video
Hi, how can i let the particles move with the music beats? example : th-cam.com/video/b_sWw9S0VPs/w-d-xo.html
Passing the intro : 0:47
What if got camera motion.. can I track it in 3d space?
That's another tutorial coming up! :)
Ignace Aleya nice! do you know already when? I'm a bit desperate haha
this is fucking awesome

Ignace Aleya this is a good help and still learning here
hey bro nice tutorial where you have background smoke footage. i want to try making particel like yours
This background was the previous tutorial, it's on our channel called "atmospheric smoke"
wow, thank you.
Awesome
Great video, especially since all the other ones like this, are ~20 minutes long. Great short and simple (that's what she said)
Its a great tutorial except for the constant zooming in, I can't see everything.
Seriously, we are all capable of rendering at 1080p (or more) and it would be no problem for us to see all the details at that resolution.
Not giving thumbs down but also not giving thumbs up.
tysm
Sorry but your tutorial is a little bit ridicoulus because at the end we don't see how it looks likes so I will not do it.
ty dude
I swear to god that intro music got me going crazy... SHAZAM
Así es perros! qué buen tuto lml
The grid doesn't show.
haha remember what i said? i take it back it works💀💀
screen is to close, cant see the timeline.
the particles showed up really tiny on my screen
the particles show up really tiny on mine too. How did you get it to work?
From Rick Gerard forums.adobe.com/thread/848989:
