more than likely gonna happen to most MLS teams that have these kinds of supporter sections. fans on the podiums have bullhorns already, it's only a matter of time until a team is gonna experence a similar situation like this. when a new owner of the Columbus Crew tried to relocate the team years ago , their supporters fought against relocation and their owner ran away to austin. meanwhile fans in NBA and NFL have little to no power to stop their teams from relocating.

Sure some fans agree with the Green Brigade and Union Bears but they act like their views are the same as every fan in their respective club. Over here, Ultras can divide clubs. Over there, I'd trust them to stay united. I've heard murmers to suggest the Green Brigade are much more upfront about foreign political agendas. Though the same applies throughout.

In France there is a cultural aspect that many don't expect : the people want accountability, they don't like to feel dis respected, and the more responsabilities you have, the more people will expect from you.
In the case of football, the more succesfull, famous and rich you are, the more people will see it as a duty for you to be integrated, humble, and hardworking, to respect the club as an institution and "dirtying the Jersey" With sweat and toil. The worst thing you can do as a player is being buyed by a French club and not caring. That would be the greatest of insults.
I know it sounds off topic, but if people wonder why players like Neymar and Messi got "mistreated" by PSG fans, well if said fans felt disrespected, they aren't going to praise them h/24. Especially when they know said player was capable of much better. If anything, blame Nasser and PSG's upper staff for buying superstars, promising them everything and not actually planing anything.

sorry but i have yet to witness people explecitly trashing a player of their club because he's not doing enough and/or he's payed too much outside of France. And its not like its just à one time thing : Zlatan, Cavani, Falcao and all pretty much all Stars that were buyed by big ligue 1 club all suffered it, for Ibra, it was fine, because he doesn't care about being criticized, and did met thé expectations, but For Neymar and Messi, it was on another level.

I was directly in the ultras side during this game and this video doesn’t show the end of the speech which was really more interesting. He said that we want to give love to our players and sing their names because we love our club, our players and they just have to show us !
Ultras never let'em alone when loss or won.
And they're great players, always hear chant or critics from fans. And made it to a motivational spirit.
