I think it looks great...very scale-like. I did try the vallejo yellow on the nose of my Me109, and regretted it as well. The water made the tissue crinkle up and the paint pooled in the wrinkles. It took about 4 super light coats (almost invisible) with a day's worth of drying between to adequately cover the mess. Putting the plane in storage "for a moment"....Yikes! Will we ever see it again? 🤣🤣
Hey mark I think she looks alright mate ,them riblets look spot on mate , regarding the colour take a step back and see how ya go ,all the best I'm sure you will come up with something 🤙🤙🤙
I bought a second hand vinyl cutter and you can easily produce your own stick-on lettering, roundells and stripes. Why not give one a go? I went on facebook marketplace and got the Brother Scan 'n' cut with a load of accsesories for under £100. It's been great!
It actually looks really good on the video, artists are never hsppy with their work though but to say you've obviously had a struggle with the painting, You've done a super job in the end. Very much liking the colour scheme. Cheers James
Mark the painting process might have been a challenge but the results look great. Jeff in LA USA
Thanks Jeff I'll make it work.

Think your right when I run into a problem like this I put it to one side and come back to it after I've thought it through.
👍😊!

Food for thought, thanks
Hello Mark, nice job. You should always use black under silver, never white .
Now you tell me 😊

Thanks I think they make a big difference.
Looks great though, Mark. hopefully after all that it is fuel proof. 😊
You and me both
I don't like them either. Not even for plastic models. Build looks nice so far.
Thank you 😊
