This video contains tips for nursing school interviews. When you apply to nursing school, you may be required to go through an interview during the admissions requirements, which consists of being asked various questions about why you wanted to become a nurse or what are you goals for yourself etc.
So, in today’s video I share what I believe are the most popular interview questions you will be asked in a nurse interview. I also share how to best answer them with guidelines and examples. Hope this helps someone
WHO IS A NURSE
A nurse is someone who assist the individual sick or well in the performance of those activities contributing to health or its recovery [or to a peaceful death] that he would have perform ed unaided if he had the necessary strength, will or knowledge and to do this in such a way as to help him gain independence as rapid as possible
QUALITIES OF A NURSE
Character and personalty are as important as intelligence in nursing
1. The nurse should be able to stand firm to what is right or wrong
2. The nurse should never appear to be in hurry; she may however act smart
3. she should be reliable, sincere and up-to-date (current) and also should be a friend
4. Ability to control emotions
5. Faithful
6. Neat
7. Tactful
8. Punctuality
9 She should have power to observe and should be able to report accurately changes in patient condition
ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES OF A NURSE
1. Keeping patients immediate environment clean and neat
2. Helping patient in their personal care
3. Ensuring safety and protection
4. helping patient to achieve proper nutrition
5. handling of emergencies
6. Recording of vital signs
7. dressing of wounds

Worry not, after you have gain admission there is something called Indexing and Gazetting which will fix everything.

They're very similar, let say they can ask someone who want to be a nurse(Why do you want to be a nurse)
A midwifery applicant can also be asked (why do you want to be a midwife)

Please my problem is that I didn't receive any message after submitting the form so right now am scared if am not called. Previously you receive message after submitting it
Worry not, this year about 50% of the applicants were complaining that they didn't receive SMS after the online submission, it was a network issue all applications were submitted successfully.

To the best of my knowledge it can't be corrected.
But if is something to do with Name or program you want to pursue, when you're admitted you can change it.

The interview is similar to that of the nurses, You can still do a photocopy while is laminated

How will you give out the documents that they ask for
It depends on the school, some schools have staffs around who will take them, others will allow you to send the documents in the interview room where you will hand them over to the panels when you get in

Some schools will ask for it, others will not. Incase they ask you kindly find some nice way to tell them that you don't have it.

@@johntenkorang304 those in the Nursing Training College do receive allowance of Ghs400 each month during their schooling period.
But those in the Universities don't recieve any allowance
