i built a new house last year and moved in November with new lawns, I have been completely attacked ever since by both black beetles and army worms. Ive gone through about 12 bottles of Richo Grub spray from bunnings and still fighting! I just purchased this product in the pellets. I have Kikuyu lawn that's super thick and tall(not sure why, cant get it to go down) should i mow first then apply it so the pellets go in deep? I have the Scotts® EasyGreen Broadcast Fertiliser Spreader and cant figure out what setting to use? front lawn is 158 sqm and back 69 sqm. Thanks oh these moths are destroying the outside of my house. Everyday cleaning the things they lay on the eaves gutters etc
Hi Mozzos, the product you are currently using is only a quick fix and requires to be used frequently to keep chewing pests at bay, the only product to use is Acelepryn as this will provide season long control , you will be best to mow first then apply at 1.5kg per 100sqm, we are unsure as to the correct gate to use on your spreader at this point as we haven't tested the product through this spreader. Simply add the required amount to your spreader to suit the area and using a low gate do multiple passes in different directions to get an even coverage. Removing the egg sacks from the side of the house is ongoing unfortunately as that is just a part of nature and there is nothing we can spray/apply to prevent them.
