You have NO idea how lucky you were to get Speed Booster that early. When I did this, it was locked behind beating Ridley, meaning I had to do roughly 60% of Super Metroid and 60% of LTTP to get it... almost all of my other essential items were locked behind having Speed Booster.
First time I completed this randomizer, I missed the Master Sword at crumple tower, and ganon's tower had 2 swords. I literally had to do 95% of the game with the fighter's sword.
I only played a little of Super Metroid, never beat the original at that. I have beaten A Link to the Past three or four times, but I am here for the randomizer and the illusive sword bit you got going on, I am all here for that, comedy gold. You know the joke, take my sword please, well, in this case it would be give me a sword and well not here to tell horrible joke filled puns so going to watch part 2 now.
Ryu was running randomizers for LttP a year or two back, and he had one where he didn't get sword until like... the last 20 minutes of the run or something stupid like that.

I think at this point the only available checks in ALTTP are two chests in Eastern Palace, the one you skipped on your first visit and the one behind the dark room. Everything else is in SM.
