- In 2010, Oceansize embarked upon a two-month tour of the UK and Europe.
Halfway through, they broke up.
Here is their final performance, at Manchester Academy 3 on November 15th 2010.

Watching you walk off stage made me cry. Seeing Oceansize reform is one of the very few things I desire in life, but it's also understandable if it never happens. Thanks for everything.
Mike looks so sad at the end. The world didn't deserve this band.
Mike is a genuine good guy. It's sad to see such talent break up. Legendary music is so few and far between these days.
Oceansize wherever you are, know your music has changed the lives of perhaps not the masses, but the people who truely needed your music. "Love, so much to give, but too few to share it with"

I came across this amazing band about 13 years ago.. They have since become one my favorite bands.. Sadly never got to see them... I'm in the US... So damn good! Wish I could've been there!
I heard them 10 years ago and I’m still amazed at their stand out individuality as musicians. I have deemed them as in my “ADD Rock” category. It truly soothes me like few others do. They were truly a “power group” and being from the US I’m still waiting or hoping for something this grand to come again for my children’s sake🙏😅🙃

Literally got the chills throughout It’s My Tail .. it’s one of those songs that we never got to see live on TH-cam here in the states. To see Mike and Steve’s dual vocals battle it out while the band thrashes along with them is fucking magic.

You know a band is GREAT when it gets 5,000 views in 5 days, TEN years after they break up!
So heartbreaking to watch the end of this. I don't know if they always played out WWLMWLD for so long, but there's such a tangible sense of the weight they are bearing, and are about to lay down, and perhaps a wish to extend the moment just a bit longer. So sad the way it all went down between the front and back lines - by the sounds of it it was an untenable situation that'd gone on way longer than anyone would've expected, but the resentment and vitriol between the members (particularly from Vennart at Heron - the others haven't had too much to say) just makes me hope they can all still recognise the immensity of what they achieved together, and that the anger hasn't tarnished it all.

Man. I listened to Self Preserved just yesterday. Still my favorite! I've enjoyed everything else you're doing Mike, but I fucking miss Oceansize more than words can express.
Mike, this is legendary, no chance of a come back, someone has to liven up the scene. First time I've heard truly original music for time. Will be doing some listening in the future too. Thanks for this, it's awesome, Mate, all the best, seasons greetings and have a good one.
Saw you guys 5 times in a row in 2008 when you played with Jägermeister Rock:Liga together with Die Mannequin and Bloodlights. Was part of the press team. Always snuck out from my chores to see you perform. Loved every second, and was deeply moved, impressed and in awe. Was able to catch you one more time in Berlin in Admiralspalast. I don't like going to concerts anymore but if you somehow decide to give it one more go, I'll be there five times in a row.
WWLMWLD is so good in this! What a band. Takes me back to University days 2005-2008 when pretty much all I listened too was the 'size after seeing you in freshers week. Blew my mind. Thanks Mike

Didn't get the chance to see the Size's last tour, although i was lucky to see them tour for all the other albums. Glad I can finally see this last concert. Man it's sad... one of the best bands i've ever seen in my whole life.

I was at this gig with a photo pass and I was so disappointed with my photos I don't think they ever saw the light of day. I like to think I have better editing skills these days though so I think I'm going to try and work out which hard drive/old PC they are on and re-visit them. This video takes me right back!

I was at this gig they’re along with Cave in my favourite ever band I was absolutely gutted when they split up. Also the first time I ever saw them was at the Roadhouse supporting cave in that was some gig.
@Mike - I think I speak for everyone when I say; It's time for some 2022 footage of these albums being played live - You once told me to never give up on my dreams and never stop playing - Time to talk to Mark, it's been long enough.
Yeah. Life ain't like that though, and my mental health, and that of others in the band, is more valuable than a rock show.

What I would give to hear Pine live. Any of these songs really. It’s just hearing Pine after all these years made me really emotional. What a tremendous final setlist and performance. Thanks for sharing, Mike.
Get along to a Vennart gig next time you can. They played Build us a Rocket and Music for a Nurse when I saw them and it was amazing!
It’s been a goal of mine to see a Vennart gig, but it’s very difficult since he’s never played anywhere near Mexico and European travel is very much outside of my budget, but I intend to make it happen. I did manage to see Mike and Richard the one time they played with Biffy in a festival here.
I remember the last time I saw them, I completely lost my everything

Carlos Infante I know. I’ve seen Vennart about 6 times now (as well as British Theatre twice). But Oceansize will never regroup will they. Vennart is as close as we’ll get and I’m perfectly happy with that 😊

Fantastic and unforgotten band OCEANSIZE.
I saw them for two times by the last tour of Porcupine Tree as supporting band in the autumn of 2010.
Perhaps three month later was the split up and end of OCEANSIZE.
Porcupine Tree is now also history. That's a pitty for this both bands and theire fans.
Can't wait for Closure/Continuation!

First time hearing this band today on discover weekly on Spotify, man that build us a rocket song on this set kicked my ass. Soo many good changes within it. Singers voice at times reminded me on Brandon Boyd from Incubus?
So I am going through my Oceansize recordings and uploading them on to here and also onto www.archive.org, but I've come across one I labelled 27/09/2006 Bolton. I can't see that they ever played Bolton? The songs played are upto Frames, any clues would be appreciated!

Hey Mike, did you guys know this was going to be your final show beforehand? As in, when you walked out on stage did you know, or did it happen in between gigs?
When Pavement performed their last show before (temporarily) breaking up, frontman Steven Malkmus hung up a pair of handcuffs on the mic stand. Mike is a fan of Pavement. If you look closely in this video, you can see that there, too, is a pair of cuffs hanging off of his mic stand. He must've known.
