I stumbled on Oceansize and Porcupine Tree via Pandora, and they both shot up to my favorite bands ever. And I say that as someone who is 61. This cut is the one I play the most, followed closely by Ornament and The Frame.
Absolutely Mr Marlon...... When some bands attain the ULTIMATE FINESSE.....their quality music is not perceived by the ordinary. IT TAKES A GENIUS TO RECOGNIZE A GENIUS. After PINK FLOYD ( I grew up listening to them). OCEANSIZE is the NEXT BEST THING not even next but right up there. Thank God we still have a small number of TRUE MUSIC LOVERS......THE COMMITED MINORITY. I WISH I COULD REINTRODUCE OCEANSIZE GLOBALLY.....WHAT A TALENT
I miss them so much. Thank god I had the chance to see them live at least twice before they disbanded. And thank god for my Feed To Feed DVD (that a friend of mine has currently borrowed, so thank god for the kind person who uploaded this as well).
I don't think they are the kind to go back on their word. :( But there are some bands trying to carry the torch. My band Wolves in Aramid emulates Oceansize in a lot of ways.
