Wow! Great video. This is the way a review should be done. No talking about your self for 30 min. or verbal explanations of a sound. adjusting knobs showing range of a pedal, what it can do and what it can't do. Well done! keep up the great work. Thank you!
As always, the best demo! Simple - - you show the settings and feature the results. MAN! YOU GET IT! THANKS! I am a better performer b/c of your demos. I’m better informed making the best pedal choices for my gigs. Again, THANKS!
Great demo, Ryan! Your tests through headphones always help me decide and as I'm not interested in stacking an od behind a distortion to get a mix this one looks to fit the bill. I'll get back to you on thoughts once I've run it through my Peavy studio. Thanks again!
It sounds like a distortion pedal with a midrange attenuator (the mode knob) rather than an actual blend of overdrive and distortion. The sound of it is pretty consistent regardless of drive level or picking dynamics. Whatever the answer is, I like the sound of it. I'm getting one to try for bass when I get my stimulus money; it might work for my neck pup picking stuff.
what's the difference between this one and the HD300 Heavy Metal? I only got an acoustic amp so I don't have any kind of gain, distortion (obviously). Which one of the two mentioned above is more versatile? Thank you very much, great video!!!!
Nice video! Those demos helps a lot on choosing to buy a new pedal! The overdrive mode is fine, but the distortion mode I thought was better than this, but it's just a matter of taste.
For metal the Boss MT2. Metal Zone. The sound quality is second to none, the best. I love mine and I'm a blues rock player. Boss pedals on my board are BD2, SD1, DS1, MT2. Those are the 4 basic tones on a board. After those you need reverb then delay.
Why have you recorded the pedal lined without any amp, ampsim, impulse response or anything? That's not how you use a pedal unless you REALLY want that sharp trebly sound, which no one does.
I'm pretty sure there was an amp sim, can't quite recall what it was but I remember it being a free download thing (sometimes not the best move.) I can happily re-record this video if thats something you'd be interested in?
I’m pretty sure as long as it uses the same input jack I wanna try it out later on when I get a bass it would be pretty cool to get a cliff burton distortion tone
Definitely sounds more like a fuzz to me. I prefer the Black Tea by Tone City for a budget dist. It's a sad day; this is the first Behringer that I just didn't like.
For 16 quid i thought i might snag one from amazon. But dear god, that is a horrendous sound. Love Behringer pedals, but not this. Genuinely wouldn't ever use it.it jist sounds like a bad fuzz to me.cheers

My first pedal, and whilst not the best sound, it did what I needed it too and I gigged with it and it worked well, so great bang for the buck
For real, your videos are the best when it comes to testing && messing around w pedals & tones. No wordy intros, straight to the point. Great job
I think it's a great pedal if you're on a tight budget or if you're just beginning to use pedals, awesome video as always
Thanks man :D
Can it work for nirvana
@@ok-hc3lq Absolutely
Yaaay! I just bought my first guitar and ordered this little badboy for some extra oomph.. Thanks for your demo, very useful. Wish me luck!
How’s it sound for metal?
great video, finally someone who shows the guitar sound instead of yapping
I got this pedal, sounds great in my Fender Champion 40s clean channel, better than the amps own gain. Worth every cent!

That was a masterful showing of that pedal. Thinking of adding it to my other 3 Behringers
What are your 3 other Behringers?
@@mrc25381 I have the Super Fuzz, and had the Ultra Vibrato and the Multi FX. Those 2 broke down after a while.

Great pedal, overdrive and distortion in one pedal
For me the best is the OD-100 Berhringer, versatil, strong, great sound.
Great video! Keep it up
thanks :)
I love this pedal as well
Great sound for the price
The middle mode position is pretty cool.
this is what you use if you want some underground russian hardcore music

great job as always Ryan. I'd actually been considering grabbing this guy due to the price- I mean why not?
you should :) I use a lot of budget stuff.. great for different sounds
How about comparison of some Boss' Overdrives? (SD1, OD2/3, Blues Driver) And maybe MXR Zakk Wylde Ov. TS8/9 and Fulltone OCD?
Sure! I'll try get my hands on them asap :) the only boss Overdrive/distortion I have is the DS-1 haha
Does this thing actually have a battery?, and does the light only come on when guitar is plugged into it?
Please demo the calenbread sabra cadabra
I'll try get my hands on one asap :)

I love the tone more when I turn overdrive on on my amp too, I can’t have just the pedal to do the work, sounds too thin
Hey mate, could you do a demo of the UM 300 ?
Is this pedal also good for bass?
Nice video! Those demos helps a lot on choosing to buy a new pedal!
The overdrive mode is fine, but the distortion mode I thought was better than this, but it's just a matter of taste.
What’s your guitar that you’re using with this demo?
Ibanez art320 :)
Folks - this pedal, or the behringer tube screamer clone for a fat lead boost ?- cheers 🇬🇧

Does yours go from off to on as soon as you power it up with a power pack? mine does but doesn't when i use a 9 volt battery external hook up?
song min 7:40 ?
This thing come without a power supply where'd you get your power supply
I am sure the pedal does not sound as bad as this in real life. It sounds like you plugged straight into a DAW with out IR's?
sorry but this pedal is analog or digital ? thanks
So this or DS-1 for a beginner metal guitarist?

give me your final decision which to buy behringer od300 or tomsline agr3
I've only tried one tomsline pedal which was their Analog delay, so I can't really give an opinion on those two.. love the Behringer though :)
Just sounds muddy at any setting

This should've been marketed as a fuzz pedal. Its nowhere close to an overdrive or distortion.
It sounds pretty good though. Very heavy.
it's heavy and a bit fuzzy
Gostei!

well they have so many pedals there is bound to be one ;) I've only tried the golden plexi by tone city.. would you recommend other pedals by them?
output on the guitar is too high
I thought it was just mine, but after seeing this video Its all of them .....I regret buying it ,wasted money.

Sounds the opposite of good.
I’m kinda new to guitars but love playing Guns n Roses, which pedal would you recommend for an Estranged tone. Thanks!
