I'm an old man and I loved the Mario movie too. Literally hits every single point of nostalgia, like a huge homage to the loyal fan of decades. Didn't understand the critic reviews one bit. I even read one from IMDB that mentioned it was hard to understand and it was never explained why there were mushroom people and floating bricks. FFS.
