That Fate game reminds me of the Arslan Mousou game, as long as you’re happy to chill out and vibe with the characters for like 20 mins occasionally then it’s great. More interactive fiction than a straight up action game. I’ll no doubt try this one if it’s on the X at some point.
Do you remember Switchblade on the Amiga and Atari ST? Not Switchblade 2 - that's wasn't very good. The one before it, yes? Goodness what a game. That soundtrack!!! Anyway, that had circular saws coming out of the ground in it. That was needlessly hazardous, too.

The only game worth £10,000 is Panzer Dragoon Saga. Best game every made. Shut up, it absolutely is.
