Ashley, I really need someone to help me understand and hear Jesus' voice over my thoughts and just hear Him and rest in Him. I struggle very much with panic attacks,overthinking, worry, anxiety and all that jazz, I cry out to YHWY (GOD) a lot over it and I reach out to my Dad and Mom for help but they don't really know how to help. And I don't want to worry or burden them with my crying all night, anymore. I am sick and tired of joy being so hard to find in my life and stay. I know the LORD can help me better then any doctor or medication. I just need a little guidance. So got any advice?
Hey dear :) I just wanted to say that it's okay to get professional help and take medication in case you haven't tried, yet. I think oftentimes God uses this kind of help even though I don't understand why He doesn't give the desired breakthrough right away. I would highly recommend to get the help that's available. And I know now that GOD is using this to strengthen me and my faith,and I already now have so much more peace just by knowing He will not let this season of my life go to waste and that He has prepared a way for me. Hi, just wanted to say I know how you feel and you're not alone 🤍 One thing i like to do is write bible verses on post it notes and stick them to my wall, and each time i come across it I can feel God speak to me. Sometimes just having worship music in the background is also helpful because it helps me to focus less on the thoughts i have, or to bring those to Him. As hard as it is right now, I know you will get through this! He will comfort you. I will keep you in my prayers! you are loved!
The best you can do is pray just pray whenever you are stressed,it helps. Saying the lord's prayer and generally going to church and confessions and participating in the church helps,i find. I'm orthodox Christian btw.
So as a *teen Christian* , I have a *quesiton* regarding modesty. I genuinly wonder what goes through people's minds, especially Christians, when they wear a bikini... I think I've worn a bikini once in my life, which was before I turned 5 or 6, but after that I was just taught that wasn't it. As I grow older, I'm a teenager now, and I just don't really understand why people wear bikinis. Like, isn't it basically showing your bra and underwear?? Idk about you, but I don't think that's modest, like at all????? I'm genuinly curious, because I feel like this is a bit more of a sensative topic, so I don't really talk about it with my friends who are Chrisitans and wear bikinis. Like, I hope that the reasoning is "it's normal now, so it's fine," bcs last time I checked we weren't supposed to be like the world...?? Hi, so I got a bikini for the first time in my life at age 17. The reason I waited so long was to figure out if I felt like it was okay because I didn't want to wear something not exactly in line with my faith. The reason I got one was for two reasons though. The first was that I have a long torso, and one pieces usually weren't as comfortable and would pull on my shoulders be uncomfortable other places, where my bikini actually to me has more coverage that I don't have to keep adjusting as much. Also, it was just more comfortable and had more chest support than a one piece. I think it also depends how you wear it, because I wear a dress over it before I get into the water, and I usually wrap a towel around myself once I leave. I think the issue for swimsuits and Christianity for women is something each woman has to face separately, and decide for herself while checking with God and seeing if He advises against it. That's my take on it anyway. Hope this helped!
So I am an athlete in high school but due to my sport I really can’t have that much clothing on because it weighs me down is a tank top and shorts still modest??
This can all be true but she also don't judge other people a woman of God can wear cropbtops and shirts or a bikini... that's between her and the lord. Or maybe she doesn't have a good relationship with her parents of siblings... can be a lot of reasons... we don't know... do be carefull met this sort of teachings...

Thanks Ashley. You said that a Godly woman is not afraid to voice something that she thinks is not right. But if voicing something that is going to cause the other person to get enraged, Romans 1:18 says it is best to leave it to God's righteous wrath. Or did you mean something else?
I think what she meant is that we shouldn't allow something wrong to happen when we can change it. For example, if someone is getting punished for something they didn't do and you KNOW they didn't do it, say something!

However, if someone fails to discern or accept how they are in the wrong we should just let God be the judge because he knows what is best: 'the wrath of God is revealed against all ungodliness' (Romans 1:18). I think oftentimes God uses this kind of help even though I don't understand why He doesn't give the desired breakthrough right away. I would highly recommend to get the help that's available. @@janirussel6676 Thank you for your kind words. I haven't been to the doctor or anything since birth so I am not familiar with that stuff. But I have talked with family, which was very helpful. And I know now that GOD is using this to strengthen me and my faith,and I already now have so much more peace just by knowing He will not let this season of my life go to waste and that He has prepared a way for me. So much weight has left me, just by know that truth.
Hi, just wanted to say I know how you feel and you're not alone 🤍 One thing i like to do is write bible verses on post it notes and stick them to my wall, and each time i come across it I can feel God speak to me. Sometimes just having worship music in the background is also helpful because it helps me to focus less on the thoughts i have, or to bring those to Him. As hard as it is right now, I know you will get through this! He will comfort you. I will keep you in my prayers! you are loved!
The best you can do is pray just pray whenever you are stressed,it helps.
Saying the lord's prayer and generally going to church and confessions and participating in the church helps,i find. I'm orthodox Christian btw.

So as a *teen Christian* , I have a *quesiton* regarding modesty. I genuinly wonder what goes through people's minds, especially Christians, when they wear a bikini... I think I've worn a bikini once in my life, which was before I turned 5 or 6, but after that I was just taught that wasn't it. As I grow older, I'm a teenager now, and I just don't really understand why people wear bikinis. Like, isn't it basically showing your bra and underwear?? Idk about you, but I don't think that's modest, like at all????? I'm genuinly curious, because I feel like this is a bit more of a sensative topic, so I don't really talk about it with my friends who are Chrisitans and wear bikinis. Like, I hope that the reasoning is "it's normal now, so it's fine," bcs last time I checked we weren't supposed to be like the world...?? I'm genuinely confused, so if someone could explain , I would appreciate it! GBUUU 😁
Hi, so I got a bikini for the first time in my life at age 17. The reason I waited so long was to figure out if I felt like it was okay because I didn't want to wear something not exactly in line with my faith. The reason I got one was for two reasons though. The first was that I have a long torso, and one pieces usually weren't as comfortable and would pull on my shoulders be uncomfortable other places, where my bikini actually to me has more coverage that I don't have to keep adjusting as much. Also, it was just more comfortable and had more chest support than a one piece.
I think it also depends how you wear it, because I wear a dress over it before I get into the water, and I usually wrap a towel around myself once I leave. I think the issue for swimsuits and Christianity for women is something each woman has to face separately, and decide for herself while checking with God and seeing if He advises against it. That's my take on it anyway. Hope this helped!

Thanks Ashley. You said that a Godly woman is not afraid to voice something that she thinks is not right. But if voicing something that is going to cause the other person to get enraged, Romans 1:18 says it is best to leave it to God's righteous wrath. Or did you mean something else?
I think what she meant is that we shouldn't allow something wrong to happen when we can change it. For example, if someone is getting punished for something they didn't do and you KNOW they didn't do it, say something!

ungodliness' (Romans 1:18).
