I would really recommend the three course menu in the Restaurant Old Iceland on the main shopping street in Reykjavik. Just great food and an explosion of taste.
Great video. On the Northern Lights Tours: Our hotel woke us up (at 2am) to see the Northern Lights, no need for a tour. Also, I'd add GeoSea, Vok and Forest Lagoon as destinations for hot springs (the Blue Lagoon was extremely crowded and not nearly as relaxing).
The week plan sounds like the forced march around the country. We are coming back in late April, spending the entire week in the southeast, as far up as Vik and Geysir. We are taking out time to see more along a limited route this trip. I planned it.
Akureyri would be better if the food scene didn’t suck so much. Totally underwhelming! Also in the summer it’s full of cruise ship people from Germany, there is not a more annoying demographic of humans. 😂
I'm sure the cruise ship demographic as a whole is bad not just the German ones 😅 it's definitely been in the media a lot. When cruise ships arrive the people flood the area with selfie sticks and leave little to no money. Also the rules here are not ego friendly. Some of our Nordic neighbors have banned cruise ships that burn fossil fuels and offer electric charging. We are way behind on that.
Hi Karl..106 days till my departure..9 day trip with GAdventures…small group Ring Road tour..Sky Lagoon…Can’t wait!…Another great video! ❤❤❤❤

I shall have to try that. 😊
Forgot to write that you should book a table in advance. We waited an hour and a half for a table.
We must unite against the machines! 🤣A delightful video Mr. Time Warp!
Thank you 😁 But I for one welcome our AI overlords.
😆
@0:30 alright alright!!!!

I've only tried geo sea on your list. That was very nice. I need to to a circle again just to visit all the nature Baths.
Seeing that Icesave logo triggers my PTSD. 🤪
Great video.
Lol, yea at least we got a concert hall out of it 😁
Love your humour, you should think about doing stand up comedy!
Thank you 😁 I did give it a try just before Covid. Unfortunately the one and only club shut down.
@@TimeWarpIceland that’s a shame, keep doing your videos in the style you are though, really makes me laugh! 😁
@@TimeWarpIceland the Dubliner might be an idea...;-) and yes a shame Bjaŕni`s club had to close...😞
Yes and there are odd open mics here and there. It not a bad idea to test out jokes.
@@TimeWarpIceland so why not try it there? i am over anyway and will head for the Dubliner..
Great video as always! Maybe I'll try it for my next trip. We will be back in Europe in April.
It's definitely helpful at least to generate ideas 😊
We are very excited. We are will be visiting in September! We plan 6 days rv in the south. Any suggestion
So many things to see. Taker your time and enjoy it. Buggy tours near Gljufrabui are awesome.
"You don't really need a full minute there" Fyndið!
😅 Tbf Akureyri is a nice town.
@@TimeWarpIceland yes I agree! I'm taking a group their later in the year but only for 5 hrs. That should be enough.😂We are staying in Mývatn instead.
Mývatn is amazing!
Now I know for what that area behind the fence in laugardalur is...
A "zoo" 😅
I prefer the natural zoo here in Húsavík. I saw a blue whale yesterday

It's definitely not enough time to properly enjoy a full round trip.
😎👍
Time Warp Amsterdam. Have a nice trip?
Sure.. 😒
drug dealers don't accept plastic? my problem would be finding a drug dealer :-/
They probably accept a bonus card 💳😅 but I don't know where to find them either.

@@TimeWarpIceland Ok yes it is the entire demographic!
I thought the industry would go away during covid but it did not
Apparently people like virussestpools 😅
AI has nothing on you my friend, you're the machine!
😅
