This feels real “expectations vs reality,” after watching the sandcastle building on that dating show.
I wonder what the other folks at the pier thought about two grown women playing on a rainy beach trying to make sandcastles
while being video'd!

They were at Weston-Super-Mare, the town where nothing happens, so they probably attracted crowds of old people let out from their care homes for the day :D
I for one find that the stigma against adults building sandcastles is completely unwarranted… But maybe that’s because I play Iron Warriors in 40k

I know they went to a crap one, in Autumn, for a laugh, but please I hope Boba gets to go to a nice one (in Wales preferably) in summer.
You have to appreciate the commitment to the experience.
As an Ohioan who has lived next to Lake Erie almost my whole life I can tell you that this beach looks exactly like parts of the lake.
And if you know anything about "the lake" you know being compared to it is no compliment.

Can you believe Blackpool used to be one of the most well known holiday regions in the north-west? I'm pretty sure I've been to that beach and it is still depressing in summer.
it's no Morecambe, that's for sure!

The average Beach experience in England
I thought they were on an abandoned beach as a laugh but then I saw the mother with her kids. That is the saddest beach I have ever seen and I've seen a lot of beaches in my day.

@@Texicus_Reddicus a beach that no one goes to because it's full of trash or other forms of pollution. Basically humans used it to store their trash and then dumped it when it got full.

I went to that beach on the way back from a camping trip about a month ago, I was walking around exactly where they were.
I must say that this beach is the dirtiest beach I’ve been to in a while, the sand was horrible like mud and the water was a dark brown colour.
You mean you went to Weston-super-Mare, where they went in the vid? Bristol is landlocked, it doesn't have a beach XD

@@chidleyl I scrambled to pay money to walk around the dilapidated Tropicana and realised halfway through that queuing for something completely underwhelming was entirely the point in the first place. I now hate art. The dodgem Grim Reaper spinning around to "Staying Alive" was off the chain tho, props to the performer XD
