Howzit guys I also redone my entire boat and hull, I was advised not to use 2k if possible. The boat builders recommended using a Polyurethane paint rather or an epoxy paint. 2K ranks about 4th or so down the line on what to use. Here in Durban we are not to excited to use planks, if the rollers are placed correct and are the correct size they work better. I have a 18.6 FT Ace craft with 2 x 90hp motors, boat slides on and off great. Trial and error though untill we got the correct size of rollers. Well done guys, always look forward to watching your vids. If you in Durban look me up, we can go fishing or diving.
Yes 2K not ideal but a very cost effective way. I dont know all the technical stuff but your epoxy an top coat or gell coat does not do well when applying upside down. Did not want to flip the boat over so we decided 2K will have to do. If it goes of in a year or two will just give another coat
If the running boards are not placed correctly to support the hull, the hull can crack. The boat needs movement whilst in transit, must not fit "tight" against the running boards.

What type of hull is the gecko?
Gecko is a super dolphin. Build in the 80s in Durban. We are in the process of pulling a mould and producing it again. Amazing boat
Quick question I also am planning on giving my hull a new paint could you please tell me what topcoat he used
There was 2K then primer then gellcoat on so took that of. Then we did 3 layers of primer and then 3 layers 2K
