Some people are artists and make beautiful things with their hands, minds, or voices. Elvis was an artist of the first caliber who brought joy to millions who was also a work of art. Miss him daily.

i think about Lisa often. we're just about the same age.
my mom as a teenager loved early Elvis, which i didn't appreciate until i was older. but when i was a kid, my uncle (my dad's twin brother! and my favorite family member) was a later Elvis fan which i related to much more. he used to tease me as "little Lisa Marie" because i have that lip sneer.
and so i kind of always followed Lisa's career out of the corner of my eye/ear (and was so happy when she apparently was able to break away from the worst of the bad influences in her life)...
and i think that during the pandemic/lockdown we all embraced and/or re-embraced Elvis (among other things), and so we also embraced Lisa with more heart. and because unfortunately she was in the headlines again bc of Benjamin (R.I.P.), then bc of the ELVIS movie, then bc of her tragic passing...
and we simultaneously embraced Ray here at Vibe Reactions who reignited that too-special-for-words "very first time!" Elvis passion, timed just as Lisa held the spotlight on all things ELVIS...
not sure i'm making a whole lot of sense; but yes, i think about Lisa all the time. like her daddy she really appreciated her fans, her family, authenticity, and music; and Ray/Vibe Reactions represents all that. at least for me...
and as i'm more a film geek, i'd been following Riley's career as it took off, as she makes her own way with the strength and independence that her mom taught her, which in turn was inherited by Lisa from Elvis. (father/daughter said by many to have been very much cut from the same cloth).
so yeah, Lisa hovers here just as Elvis does. the timing with this channel is really poignant.
may they all be at peace, looking out for Riley as she does her thing and as she reinvigorates her grandad's Elvis's legacy for new generations....
and when i think of Lisa together with her son and with Elvis, i imagine them with that awesome signature lip curl more as smiles than sneers. Elvis, Lisa, all of them... a family reunited by a fierce fierce love ❤ despite heartache.

@remyJbk no worries. Yes it's getting harder to find the actual released versions now that all the alternate takes are available. It's a blessing and a cursing haha there's actually another version of the final take with an extended length. I probably should have posted that link instead. Either way we go, it's just a difference between awesome and super awesome!!
You do realize Priscilla left Elvis for a married man that had a pregnant wife. That marriage never worked because Elvis was Blackmailed into that marriage with threats from Priscilla and her Parents of a Law suit, going to the press and ruining his career. Elvis felt he did not have a choice. I think he was really relieved when she left with the exception of being devastated that Lisa was going with her. Lisa was the love of Elvis’ life.
