I beat this game when I was 6 and HOLY COW I don't know how. Watching your video and other people's videos on it I'm just baffled how I got through most of it. And I love the game too. I also came to the joke conclusion that Uncle Ben was holding Spider-Man's webs from heaven. Even back then I didn't like the web swinging logic. But nice video! Haha
Hahaha I've never heard the uncle Ben theory , that would be a great twist to explain it ! Some levels are insane but I'm finding a lot of ps1/ ps2 games are like that when I try them today. Thanks for watching !
A Simpsons guy, I see! I played this on GameCube and Xbox back in the day. I also had the strategy guide back then. And don't worry about Spidey swinging from the sky - it's considered non-canon. 😅

it wasn't a "trend" they didn't figure out the web swinging at this time but actually according to the man that created web that sticks to environments: Jamie Fristrom who worked for Treyarch stated that he had it already created it and it was originally meant to be in this game but this game was already in late development and so they choose to put it in spider-man 2 instead. Treyarch was the first to created that web swinging that sticks to environments. i love how u don't bring that up and how they changed spider-man games and superhero games as a whole for their innovations and influence but instead downplay them and their impact for stupid jokes.

this and the ps1 spider man were some of my fave games as a kid, spider man doesnt miss on the playstation
