I PLAYED THIS GAME!!! Sorry for shouting but I played this game as a kid with my dad! I’ve never been a fan of sports games, and I’ll openly admit that I sucked at playing them, too. Never once did I beat my dad in any sport based video game we ever played together. But playing these games together with him was a bright light in an otherwise dark part of both of our lives. So thank you for bringing this game, which holds a very special place in my memories, some modern attention.

Reminds me of Blades of Steel. Whenever a fight breaks out, the player who loses is the one sent to the penalty box. The winner gets to keep playing.
This game has a key memory for me. Finding a game where I could 2 foot the ref if I got frustrated. I was already well know between my friends and brothers for spamming slide tackles in pes at the time so finding this game was a match made in heaven.

I never even knew this was a game. I remember and loved NFL Blitz and NBA Street. Kinda reminds me of a game I played on NES as a kid called Arch Rivals. Was a basketball game where you’d punch, shove, slip on popcorn and sodas thrown on the floor. Loved that game as a kid😂

Wait... were they actually able to get some sort of licensing agreement for this game? 😂 I'm only 4 minutes in and at your first game against Australia but I noticed Viduka, Skoko, Kewell and Lazaridis all playing for the Aussies who were real players. Usually in games like this they don't get licenses so they have to pack the teams with fake players or give them names like Harry Jewell or Mark Vikcuda. That's awesome 😂
