I love your videos. One repeating theme I’m noticing is that you’re exhausted, pushing yourself too hard, not listening to your body enough because you need to be at your destination on a certain date. Listen to your body. Slow down, enjoy the journey. That said, your videos are beautifully shot and very informative. I leave for my Camino in April and have learned so much from you.

Another wonderful vid. You are being way too hard on yourself physically and mentally. Your work stands out because it is not cluttered and truly captures the Camino in such a calm and peaceful way. What you say has real meaning because of this. Some people feel the need to fill space believing that’s what makes their vlog interesting but for me yours are far more engaging. 😎

...so wonderful to see your next (foot-) steps, Olive... I enjoyed this video, as I always do with yours... I love your sincerity... you just show how it really is for you, not polishing it over. The tug-of-war between what we want, and what our bodies (feet, knees) have to say on that, is so typical for the journey! And as you so rightly say: Its YOUR camino, and as such your decisions do not have to fulfill anyone else's expectations. So why do we feel guilty, while we actually take care and responsibility for our well-being?! Its a good observation and part of the learning and maturing as a pilgrim, I think...
I notice again, what an amazing skill you have in the filming... I can't put my finger on it fully, but the landscapes come alive for me, when I watch your footage, and that is thanks to your gift! I also notice the beautiful Autumn colours of the trees, something I missed out with my fondness for walking during Spring...
You apologize a bit for being (always) so tired, and wanting to be able to show and explain more, but thats also a camino fact: we stretch our body's capacities, and it takes most of our energy to do our daily chores of walking vast distances, while facing any weather...
The monastery hotel looks divine - what a place!! I'm a bit surprised though, that they don't offer to wash, especially for pilgrims... thats a bit disappointing, letting down a service, that would be so appreciated...
Can't wait for your next sequel... well - I can, and have to! Thank you, Olive, this clip of yours was a highlight of my Sunday! 🥰

Thank you so much for your heartfelt and thoughtful comment! ❤Your observations truly resonate with me. The Camino indeed mirrors the delicate balance between our desires and the needs of our bodies - a reflection of life itself. It's so easy to lose sight of our own needs, sometimes pursuing something out of a perceived obligation...
I'm grateful for your kind words about my filming skills.❤ I look forward to sharing more of the journey! 🏞🌿

I stayed in that monastery hotel, back in April 2023. Quite unique. At 6 feet tall, I had to duck under those wooden beams in the restaurant.😂

There was an alternative walk by a river, lot better than walking next to road also the road is never that busy.

Yes, my dear Olivia, you need to rest to allow your body to recover. But only based on the kinds of food that you are showing us, you need to eat more protein. Your body is desperate for good fuel.
