At 57 years of age, I knew I hadn't seen/heard it all. I was NOT expecting this. I feel young again, in discovery mode. I can hear again. :) Thank you The Record Company!!!!
There are still artists creating incredible music out there. I know there is a lot to go through to find it. When I hear people say there isn't any good new music out there, I tell them they aren't looking hard enough. I love the Record Company and am looking forward to their next release in 2018!
Nikki Saw them last night on Jooles Holland FAB U LOUS wow, thrilled to hear and see real musicians again, yes I'm a trillion years old, but then that makes me discerning and qualified.
These kats are in rarified air in this day & time. They can play, write & emote like some of the best I've ever heard. The Record Company, Nathaniel Rateliffe & the Night Sweats, The Black Keys, Sturgil Simpson, Tyler Childers, and Marcus King, give me hope for the future of real music.
I heard this band on a university station the other day---a track called "Off the Ground" and I was hooked! Heard this great track tonight for the first time. Quite a band---really perked up my 77 yr. old ears!
My friends, turning 64 in august------did the radio dj thing, played live, recorded a bit---thes e guys are about the best I've heard in a couple of decades.....haven't researched them yet but, reading some of the other comments......gotta say....."WHOA"
Definitely heard Morphine in the Off the Ground record. Was put off by it frankly at first. Seemed like a rip-off. But they seem to have some real talent to back it up. I am 64 as well. Looking forward to hearing more from this band! Really appreciate your informed comment about them.
well guys I'm 70 in Feb this year, i heard this band on a tv show here in uk on new years eve and have been trawling youtube since, and boy are my ears been given a treat. fantastic band remind me a bit of Canned Heat on this track.
F'in Awesome. You all may not agree to this but reminds me of Morphine (maybe because I am from Boston) with Canned Heat and "a little" Little Feat with a great twist of Blues. The Record Company has brought me back to loving music again. Please revert back to my first comment, "F'in Awesome"!
This particular song definitely reminds me of Morphine. The Sandman was/is a legend. Although it is the guitar work that is especially Morphine-esque. The Record Company is awesome. Best newer band to come along in a bit.
Saw you guys tonight for the first time on Jimmy Kimmel and you were amazing! Love your style & your beat is bluesy as all get out, very soulful and rich. Believe me, I’ve heard a lot of music in my day, and at 68 yrs young -:) it’s soo refreshing to hear good rock ‘n roll. Keep it up guys, we need more great music like this.
One of the sickest new artists around..be happy to have em in Redding, CA. I am proud that sick guys with talent still exist in this media barron wasteland of hacks. Keeping it real "the record company "
First heard these guys on new years eve in the UK on Jools Holland's show. Can't stop listening to them. I hope they do a full tour of the UK soon. Their sound gives me goose bumps - I haven't heard anything this sleazy or groovy in a long time. Don't stop making this amazing music guys.
I got turned on to this group after listening to a Roadhouse Blues Podcast. Can't get enough of that sound. Darn it, they ain't coming to Phoenix anytime soon.
In the few months since I found these characters, I KNEW there was something in the back of their sound, besides of course the blues, that really spoke to me...this track pulled it right up front....CANNED HEAT, BABY!!! BLIND OWL WILSON LIVES!!
Guys I am just 47 years old and I love this kind of music. All of my friends are listening to the Rolling Stones, Led Zeppelin, and the Doors and all that kinds of crap. #Wronggeneration
wow, this came across my fb feed...I was like who the fuck is this, but it was a 2 min clip, so I had to come here and find it...this sounds like it comes right out of the 60s or earlier...I can't believe I haven't heard of these guys before tonight...love this track...

The Black keys been around for 20 years now
I do enjoy that “driving a 70 year old car through the desert” kind of music.
I heard this band on a university station the other day---a track called "Off the Ground" and I was hooked! Heard this great track tonight for the first time. Quite a band---really perked up my 77 yr. old ears!
