That was really smart of Ace to find a loophole for the puppets by throwing his fox tail charm. Honestly wish they had done more of it throughout the story (outsmarting the system) instead of forcing most of the students to fight the puppets directly and get "defeated" that way.
Gotta let it all come down to the SSR characters, that's the rules XD Haha, for real though, always glad to see Ace get a moment to shine like that and be clever about it. Absolutely loved that part and getting to see Fellow bluescreen for a moment over this unforeseen possibility~
Okay, I'm sorry, but seeing Trey, Lilia, Jade and Jack now fully unable to talk and Yuu and Grim on the brink of it is GENUINELY upsetting. I am upset and MAD anxious in the worst way. I think this event has unlocked a new fear in me and uprooted Pinocchio trauma I never knew I had, and I am not having a good time...
Yeah and you can see them taking this seriously for the first time... Ive noticed in the past chapters on re-watch, none of the captured NRC kids were taking this seriously enough Like bros, you are at someone's mercy and the most you guys decided to do is taunt him? About school?!? There's really very little they did to try and convince him to give them up - Leona doesn't fucking say "Who tf do you think I am?" (even if he doesnt believe people will look for him, its a good way to intimidate someone by pulling rank) Neither does Lilia to be honest. Theyre all too busy trolling Fellow. And it sounds... so dumb? Like please stop talking about how school is so great and maybe Crowley might start looking for you. Fellow's not gonna get scared from Crowley?? Pull out the big guns! Name drop Malleus!!! Like I really couldn't care less about their endless speeches about school when theyre about to sold!!! to shadowy rich guys!!!
@@grandpa6065 God you summed up my feelings PERFECTLY. Like, I respect being ultra petty to kidnappers by being as hostile as possible, but…the stakes are just TOO HIGH here! We’re not just gonna walk this off when this is over, this is SERIOUS, PLEASE treat it as such!
I was crying with Grim when I saw the eight captured boys in the cage, some silent and not moving anymore. And I was fuming that Yuu and Grim have to rely on the three noodle heads (Two noodle heads and a super computer doesn't have quite the same ring.) to ultimately save them. At least with Malleus, Idia and Azul, I knew I could rely on their strategic minds and magic even if I can't rely on "goodness from their hearts", especially in Azul's case. When Ace threw his foxtail charm, I knew exactly what he was doing... and it made me laugh even harder when Fellow realized his puppet army abandoned him of their own accord.
Was kiiiiiind of hoping Gidel would be puppetized and Fellow would have a conflict of conscience. But I guess that does prove his cane is a magic artifact! Like the Magic Mirror and the Bell of Solace!
i saw people complaining on tumblr that it's about going back to school, but like? at least Yuu and Grim are homeless and live in night raven. how dare they want to go back "home" i guess edit: that ending made me laugh a lot, Ace you lil shit using your lil shitness for greater good
I think its more the trolling Fellow about school, by talking about how school - as an institution, as a concept - is so great And notably, that even if school is home for Yuu as you mentioned, none of the other captured kids talk about their homes - which is SUCH a departure from the original Pinnochio Why isnt Jack talking about his family? And hoping to get back to them? I know Leona hates his brother, but like maybe if he namedropped that he's Royalty, then Fellow could be intimdated? But like... This scene in Pinnochio, those kids were soooo scared as the transformation started, and there's just... no sense of that fear in edit: the earlier scenes So yes, Yuu's home is school, but Yuu's not much of a talker and the kids who are talking were invested in trolling Fellow, without really... a hint of fear? like if you re-watch those scenes with Fellow and the kids, there's no sense of seriousness in any of them - not even Lilia
IM HERE AND IM READY TO WATCH LETS GO update: YEAHHH they had a plan!!! still waiting on that full fellow and gidel backstory though i can literally taste it
Fellow saying “Gidel, why would you hit them?” Well you know the saying: when you’re holding a hammer, everything looks like a nail lol

This is Gidel's redemption to destroy the puppets once and for all.

Ace-*held a sledgehammer*
Gidel-wait where did you get that!?
Ace-I asked Ortho to win it at the dart throwing.
I want that to happen. LOL

XD ace for once, you did something smart
He's actually a lot smarter than most give him credit for ^^; He just doesn't show it all that often
Floyd once summed it up about Ace. He's got a sharp mind but when it comes to following through he tends to fall flat
@@jettash0720Reminded me of Book 3 where he distracted the guard at the museum in the Coral Reef. Bro can pull off an act.
