Wow!!! What Awesome views of the countryside from the bus!!!😍 The Colosseum is Totally an Amazing sight to see!!! We would Love to visit Rome someday!!! So much History!!! Thanks So Much for sharing this with us!!! Hope Everyone and Everything is Well!!! 😁🤙👊
Loved your video...most historic is right...so old! The Norwegian Epic was fantastic! We got to go to Athens, the Acropolis, Mars Hill, Temple of Poseidon...trip of a lifetime! Sorry about your lunch but the ship's complimentary dining was so good every time we went....Manhattan Room, Shang Hai, Taste, O'Sheehans...all good!
We enjoyed your video. We are heading to Rome in about a month. This will be our fourth trip to Rome. We love the Mediterranean! We are doing a Transatlantic cruise on The Beyond.
LOVING watching these cruise vlogs! Would you guys be willing to do a video explaining why you chose a European cruise VS visiting Europe on your own? I’m interested in the thought process and any pros/cons you noticed!
Awesome, can’t wait for that! The struggle is always real for us with decisions regarding travel on your own VS cruise overseas, and we’ve never visited the part of Europe you went to on this trip so I’m looking forward to your perspective!!!
We had no issues at all! Was very little issues as most places spoke English very well and we tried to learn what we could to try and speak the different languages but English was spoke everywhere we went.
Great videos, super informative. Thanks for posting. I got a question for ya, If You dont pay for an excusion, do they provide transportation to Rome free or for a small fee?
No they do not. We actually ported about 45 minutes to an hour outside of Rome. The city had a shuttle that took you near a train station, but its on you to get to the train station and then do everything once there to get to Rome. Our friends did that, but we had already known we were going to do this tour.
@@ForLoveoftheMouse So to get to Rome you take a shuttle to the train station then a train to Rome? Is the shuttle at the port? Thanks so much for the info
@RocknRollAllNight if you don't have an excursion or want to pay a taxi to take you to Rome, then the shuttle and train is your option. The shuttle and taxis are right outside the terminal. You could also have a taxi take you to the train station if you wanted
I found the epic very dark and the price is for trips. Outrageous food was okay, specialty restaurant Cagney is very good and the entertainment wonderful overall bit disappointed
The tour and all the time at the Vatican is what we were looking for with this excursion, the colosseum was a bonus to us. Could we have done it cheaper on our own? Of course, but having never been to Europe before we played it safe and did what we were comfortable with. Would I do it differently having now done this, yes I probably would. It was $319 for 1 hour transport to the colosseum, lunch, and then a guided tour (which was very good) at the Vatican, and then 1 hour back to the ship. All that was about a 10 hour day. Thanks for watching!
If you are interested in a book series that takes place in Rome and the colosseum, I highly recommended the Mark of the Lion three book series by Francine Rivers.
What a lovely day! So many great sites! You are right, the memories together is what matters!
Thank you so much! It was a great day for sightseeing and memories!
Saint Peter's basilica is beautiful.
Thanks for sharing your experiences in Rome. Very informative and interesting.
Thank you for watching!
I hope you are making more memories and vlogging them here in 2024. And hope you share them with us!
Have some really fun trips planned that we will be sharing!

I saw so many negative comments, thank you for sharing positive thought of NCL Epic.
So beautiful, this brings back beautiful memories of Rome
Hope to go back someday to see what we missed! Thank you for watching
This is my absolute Favorite city. I been there six times.
Wow! That's awesome! We loved it there

Thank you so much for taking us along. I've loved watching the whole series❤.
Thank you so much! We'll be back with more next week, we are not done yet
Love how you used the ship as your way to see as much as you could in Europe, great plan!
Thanks! We were glad it worked out to be able to do this trip
the Vatican looked amazing, ive never been interested before but now i would love to go .
It is truly a sight to see. Never thought I would truly love seeing it the way I did
wow.....one day, I will experience cruising 😊

You read our minds! We are going to do a video at the end about this topic and what NCL was like to cruise on
Awesome, can’t wait for that! The struggle is always real for us with decisions regarding travel on your own VS cruise overseas, and we’ve never visited the part of Europe you went to on this trip so I’m looking forward to your perspective!!!
So many awesome memories!! We had a blast 😊
I love all the ducks
If you bought specialty dining packages, do they still charge you extra for the steaks?
In the main dining room, yes. Because the package gives you credits for a meal at Cagneys
We just booked our 10-day cruise on the Epic. Italy, Greece, Malta. Is this the same cruise?
The Italy portion is very similar, but the Greek Isles part looks amazing. That would be what we'd love to see next. Enjoy!
@@ForLoveoftheMouse great video! Thanks!
How was the language barrier doing a cruise like this? I I’ve your Disney cruise content so much - I’m really enjoying seeing other cruise lines

Was this a NCL excursion
Yes it was
Thanks my wife really wants to see the Vatican

So you paid over four hundred dollars and it did not include admission to colleseum??
