They didn't have the power needed for more animations, so running and changing directions were a little stiff, and the players dropped too many passes. But NFL 2K just barely missed the jump to X360/PS3 before the license deal, and then of course they missed PS4/XB1. Given the detail, depth, and graphics of NBA 2K today, one can only imagine what NFL 2K22 would've been smh. And of course, the REAL Madden 22 we deserve had that deal never happened.

Got a PC or an Android device? Grab a PS2 or Xbox emulator and play it again in glorious 4k. RPCS2 or Xemu for Windows, Aether2x for Android. Xbox version is better if you have a PC, loads up faster. Otherwise the PS2 version is perfectly fine. Game runs flawlessly for Xemu or PCSX2 on Windows. Haven't tried on Android but I'm sure it's fine too, long as your phone or tablet is powerful enough.

they change the stadium's every year up to a certain point. then every superbowl is at a 2K stadium or ESPN stadium. I can't remember what its actually called.

People overhyped this game for real. Yeah this game is pretty good especially the presentation. But the controls are so tanky. Is this game better than Madden today? Yeah but the bar is so low for current day Madden the bar is in hell. Is this game better than every Madden ever? Hell no. The PS2 Era of Madden is goat'ed.
