  • This morning we are at Tsukuba Circuit for the Unlimited Works track event that was taking place. Sato-san, owner of the famous EVO tuning shop Unlimited Works, will rent the track for a weekday morning specifically for his customers to enjoy the circuit. Sato is an old friend of ours, so when Hashimoto (Funny Bone FD) mentioned that he would be attending to assist Kiyo in his testing, I decided to stop in and say hi to Sato.
We met up with Ejima Kiyotaka, the driver of the Top Fuel Racing FD3S, at Tsukuba Circuit as he continues in-season testing of his car after his very first session of the day. This past week he has been measuring the effectiveness of his aero, specifically the rear diffuser. He also has some power changes this year, as he changed the turbo out to a new Garrett G40 and turned up the boost to make about ~750ps.
With ideal conditions, he was able to clock a 55.194 - about 6-7 tenths off of his personal best. We'll keep an eye on his progress as he shoots to break into the 53's this season.
After Kiyo finishes we take a walk around the paddock to check out the rest of the cars that were attending the Unlimited Works Track Day. Thanks for watching! We'll have photo coverage up on the site as soon as I get some time!

When I first saw this FD I spent hours and hours trying to figure out who made the aero wife body. I finally found the Narita Dogfight article about it. PanSpeed has made, in my eyes, the most beautiful body I’ve ever seen on an FD. The only other FD body that looks better than Eishima’s is the RE Amemia from GT300. Unfortunately, both are not for sale 🥲

    • @Donvatain

Check out the TCP magic type GT widebody. I think it is as good looking as the the panspeed but more agressive looking. The RE GT300 has a more classic touch which is also nice.

@@Donvatain I do really like the TCP magic kit, but like you said, its flashy. For me, it’s very overstated and a bit too much “body kit” if that makes sense. I love the look of pure function and business.

I'm really obsessed with the rear bumper cutout and big diffuser combined and also with those functional aero kits like big wings, fenders and etc. And also the first 0:10 of this video is really a wallpaper quality shot right there!!!! I genuinely love the raw culture of Japan including their motorsports and time attack racing as well especially in Tsukuba Circuit!!! I wish that the modern era knows this kind of true car culture instead of the hype that they see on tiktoks/social medias, or with those obnoxious highway pulls with high powered vehicles that they consider as "sUpeRcaR kiLLeR" that only last for 15 seconds which is boring and so childish because of those egotistical cutthroat car wannabes and also their idiotic takeovers on intersection which is totally sucks, no wonder why so many cops are showing up out there and the reason why car culture is slowly dying nowadays including those ricers who acts that they know everything about cars and mods but have completely zero knowledge about it!!! It's all nothing but a c*ck show instead of a genuine meet and gathering of true car enthusiasts that Japan does really have!!! It's not all about stats, numbers, egotistical cutthroat moments, hype, clout chasing or etc but rather sharing your passion as a certified car enthusiasts, it's really about experiencing its raw authentic vibe, connectivity between a man and the machine, genuinely loving, enjoying and respecting the car!!! I hope that this kind of content should be known by many other's in order for them to know and understand what being into cars truly looks like and the main reason why you're doing it in the first place, seeking the real purpose of this culture!!!

100% agree. A lot of the guys and shops that I’ve seen so far on this channel are some of the first big breakout tuners. One of the guys in another video where Sean went to the garage of the guy who owns Auto Rescue, was part of the original Mid Night Club too.

I'm aware that they used to be an underground street racers during the early 80's (I am not condoning any types of street racing and you shouldn't do that unless you really wanna risk of losing your driver's license) but nowadays, they're now professional racing team!! Yeah like the people making ludicrous 1000+ HP claims and then the car cant even break traction on street tires lol...when in reality 300-700HP would kill most unskilled idiots and is an immense amount of power for most mid to light weight cars.

Most of these people couldn't even dare to try and push their vehicle's maximum limits!!! The worst part there is they're the ones who even tarnished the reputation of JDM culture through internet's hype and clout chasing which is totally sucks!!! Idk man, looks like most of the western car culture is already toxic nowadays and it's nothing but a big balls show!!! Finding a genuine car guys out there are really handful and that's the sad reality but it's what it is
