As far as EDGE goes I don’t think we need to make that a top priority. I’d rather bring in a free agent for that position and maybe take a pass rusher later in the draft. I’m expecting yaya to step up in 2025 and even braswell
We had no outside passrush last year. The 3-4 DE and the Nose was the pass rush. Shame, we need a premiere rusher if we going to run a 3-4 if not at this point we can just go back to 4-3
The problem with the Bucs is they rarely go up to get their guy. If you want somebody that’s a premier edge rusher you usually can’t sit back in the 20s. Now can the Bucs get lucky and wait til pick 19 to get a Mike Green? Who knows, Jared Verse fell to the Rams at 19 last year.
Def tackle at 19. Move kancey to edge Then tall safety 6 ft 6 or so. Tall middle linebacker. 6 4 or bigger Then two outside linebackers who are 250 lb each. .
Kancey has very short arms bro moving him to edge is a terrible fucking idea lmao. He’s perfect at 3 tech. A 6’6 safety sounds like crazy talk but other that I agree
I have us staying at #19 and taking Mike Green- OLB/Marshall He's gonna shoot up after the combine and become a Top 20. He's got the energy we lack with pass rushers other than YaYa. Round 2 i really hope we snag a sleeper ILB.
Jahdae Barron is a beast, and he generates turnovers. He's a versatile player as well, you can move him all over the field. I also like Trey Amos. I would rather have either one of those guys than some boom/bust edge guy.
I hate rookie Cornerbacks. They spend all season getting beat up while they learn the defense and pass coverage in the NFL. I would rather go Edge in the first round. They are more likely to make a positive impact in their rookie season. Look to free agency for a CB. They are more expensive in free agency, but at least by year five they are seasoned and you know they are capable of playing in the league.
@@PumpkinEater234that’s true 1st round corners tho. And beyond a couple that’ll be gone by 19 potentially I say leave cb to 2nd round and free agency. Draft edge because a home wrecker of an edge will make the Dline elite. That also gives some flexibility for the secondary
Yeah, James... I agree with PFF. I am sorry. But you do demonstrate the problem with taking a corner at 19. Amos is really a second rounder who might go in the first due to injuries to Revel and Morrison. By the time the Bucs pick in the second, there will be no sure starting Edges. Hoping that Braswell becomes something is all we would have as a starter. And with Amos, a young teying to feel his through year one, that would be a disappointment.
Nick Emmanwori is electric, he can start right way and be a game breaker! Hope we get him

I was thinking the same thing if we use braswell more i think he will step up he has all the attributes to be good

i got up to your third pick and that was all could take
The 2025 playoffs have started. Bucs are blocking Jags from interviewing their coaches. Jags vs Bucs in preseason playoff game!!
Bucs fans all season: WE SUCK AT DRAFTING EDGE
Bucs fans now: WE NEED TO DRAFT AN EDGE
🤦♂️
Eventually you have to get it right lol

Revel in the first is what I’m hoping for in real life. Worth the risk in my opinion. 6-3 runs and 4.40 fits our style.
I Like it James
Thanks James for your opinion

Harold Fannin Jr. Should be our pick in the third round dudes the beast.
Passing on J.Walker in the second is crazy
yeah I was about to ask about this, did i miss something that tank his value, why does MrBucsNation doesn't like him as a prospect
Jalon Walker is a walking bust
I would pick Benjamin with the 19th pick
I like Trey Amos
Jahdae Barron in 1st and sign charvarius ward in free agency
You bypass Morrison for Amos are you crazy, Booooo
Or sign Khalil Mack in FA
No punter in the 7th?

Idk some first rounders end up being instant starters especially first rounders

Look at the two rookie Corners from the eagles both rookies and playing good
Wat h Jadaes film
They need to draft size not names
I don’t think so if we just drafted size we wouldn’t have Bucky Irving
IOL
