Same here, 5 years and I confirm, we landed with AT ON despite having control over the levers. Unfortunately they will release it first in this msfs toy-sim, whose FDE only works well on small planes, aniway the best MD-11 model was the PMDG in FSX, it is awesome, I have the FSX installed just because of it.
@xdiver01 TFDI are releasing it for P3D 4/5/6 along with msfs. Also have you ever heard of the Rotate MD-11 for X-Plane? It's apparently a very well modeled aircraft.

Would love if TFDI could use this project as a base for an MD-10-10, but can see how this would be out of the scope of the project.
Have you seen the YT videos about «Inge und Claudia», flying MD-11 Cargo for Lufthansa? Fantastic videos. It’s just those two girls, on this huge plane 😊 As Lufthansa now has retired the MD-11’s, they have coverted to the 777.

GSX has a history of multiple issues to multiple things in the simulator ever since FSX. I just gave up on it, and all my problems disappeared like magic.
Current gsx on msfs is very good now I don’t know what you’re saying

I don't get the hate. In its current state as long as you use decent airport profiles it works like a charm in 99% cases.

The value is currently static and no simulated, thus I didn't use it.
I remember standing at the airport fence at ZRH as a young boy watching the first Swissair MD-11 arrive. Back in those days they were flying alongside DC-10 and 747-300.
It is still one of my favorite aircraft and I hope TFDi will do it justice.
What we can see in the video looks very promising and I agree with you when you said you hope they won't rush the release.
I fully trust TFDI to have the ability to make it an excellent plane. It’ll just take time.
@@A330Driver I think so too, but recently I have had some bad experiences with otherwise very good developers..Kerbal 2 and Cities Skylines 2 comes to mind.
PMDG is still by fare better in terms of systems, but this version promisses a lot of improvements. It still need a couple of month of patience.
Fenix and PMDG are at the top imo

Wow…somehow I didnt catch that they released an alpha version. So as is now Ive spent $80 to wait a minimum of two months from release of an alpha in hopes it might have progressed to a beta testing plane? Ouch
Not that it really matters in this case, but standard initial departure altitude at Arlanda is 5000 ft just for info🙂 Nice video as always, good to see the MD-11 is progressing!

that's the md-11 for you. the plane does not have a butter mech. Just plant it and walk away from the landing
Is this version also working on the latest version of MSFS?
The logo of the current version uses the same as the 2020 version.
But i certainly don't want to buy the incorrect MSFS.
When i look at the website for TFDI MD-11 then it says MSFS 2020 only, but i cannot find MSFS 2020 on steam for example.
I've always flown Level D 767 back in FS9 and i had an interest in the then available paid MD-11. I forgot the developer name, but i know they stopped selling the MD-11.
NOwadays there are some other versions/developers available and i would like to get one.

Anyone heard about release. They said let the 60 day countdown begin, but heard that it is being delayed again. Makes me question having fronted $80 for the plane. Ive never done that before
Right now it’s in a state where any public release would be a huge disappointment, even as early access. They need to do more work on it.
Do note they always said „at least“ 60 days. Looking at the current CE version it will probably be quite some more.

@@rydawg7629 …..I actually agree with you. Its gotten completely out of hand. Aerosoft, PMDG, SimWorks Studios, TFDi, and many many more. They all say that we have no idea what it takes, but that is kind of the point. As you said, THEY set the timelines and miss them over and over again. I am a business owner, and if I did that my clients would not continue to do business with us
I just uninstalled GSX again….LOL. Man, I cant deal with it. Ive tried so many times now. Its just too intrusive to me. I really feel like it distracts me more than adds to my immersion. I think that I am always hopeful that it will be what I am hoping it can be, but when I reinstall it I am reminded why I deleted it to begin with.
I can not believe how buggy GSX is :S

Im going to spend some serious time with this aircraft. FedEx livery, and some long hauls. Love my Fenix and PMDG, but Ive been really looking forward to this one
