Nice to see the Wilson sisters with Kelly. A bit of nostalgia for sure. Heartwarming, nice reaction, Juliet as always. I think we know why Kelly won American Idol 20+ years ago. Women supporting women and passing the torch (or just sharing experiences really) is always a lovely experience. Yay!

Having grown up hearing "These Dreams" and "Alone" on the radio in the Philippines, even if they're not the genre I preferred listening to when I became an adult, hearing those songs now still does take me back in time... Not knowing anything about HEART other than it being the name of the band that sang those wonderful classics, it was very cool to now learn about Ann and Nancy Wilson -- to see and hear them, as well as to hear the reverence Kelly Clarkson and Juliet have for them. ❤🔥 And now I get why the Filipino rock band AEGIS was described as "the Philippines' answer to HEART". AEGIS is also fronted by sisters with power vocals (Juliet, Mercy and Ken Sunot) who can do a killer cover of HEART's songs as well as their own Pinoy-favorite power ballads! ❤🔥

I probably won’t do O Holy Night till November or early December BUT you’ll be happy (i hope!) to know that I just recorded a new Dan Vasc reaction and will release it in the next week or two, I won’t tell you which one so that you’ll be surprised. Sure, Kelly has range, power, technique, experience, awards, etc, but can she cover Geddy Lee from the 70's? 😏 I dunno, maybe "Lessons" or "Something For Nothing". Heck, I'd settle for Pain Killer by Judas Priest. But no smoothness allowed. Gotta rasp it up (and I know she can).
