We RIPPED this song in half when we played live....3 tours in England! Our horn section was absolutely incredible! TIGHT! Danny Webster on LIVE vocals was unreal! I did backgrounds on this song in concert along with Stay in my life and be my babe!

@@thomasbridges7323 Yeah man....I sang on every song on the New Plateau L.P. and co-wrote many songs that I did not get credit for but thats' the Biz! You would be great for a tribute band!
+Ghanjah Holt thanks ive finished ranting on information sites ,, i am getting back to my bass .. maybe talk about Mark Adams & how he influenced my town & nation ,, thanks ,,
Dam i forgot about this one and yup shows how mark was a killer bass player thanks yup he put in work on cuts wow the board player was all ways on point every jam the guitar work allways there
bean9seventy Yes, a very underrated bass player. He has a very recognizable sound. I love the flangerish sound on his playing style. If I'm not wrong he started playing with that typical sound around Just a Touch of Love and onwards.
Farre88 you will have to ask the experts ,friends & family of the band how Hansolor got his tone ,,They sent texts & support to me & others when Mark Adams passed on , in my mind Smokey Robinson is one of the keys to the overall approach ,
Farre88 check out this video ::" funk "1984" classic bass solo ":: Mr Buddy Hankerson of Steve Arringtons Hall of fame , there you will see that there are a whole bunch of notes played behind the beat by the above group & band members,, The bass players of today are still trying to it figure out ,,
bean9seventy Yeah, I've seen that video. It's amazing. I talked long ago with Steve Washington about Hansolor's tone and he said that he designed a 10,000 watt rig and that Mark used roundwound strings like roto. Didn't get much more info than that. It took a long time for them to get that style and that the rig was ready by the third LP. What do you mean that Smokey Robinson is the key to the overall approach? Do you mean the overall approach of Slave? That's interesting cause I have only listened to Tracks of my tears.
affriad that track dont do it for me , looked at other claeke duke tracks ,, nothing i am up for ,, are there any other tracks you might like to see jammed ?
