The late Sandy Anderson could. RIP Mark & Sandy ❤. Listen to "Inside Out" from Odyssey. Sandy Anderson was on bass!! Most not informative people still think that was Mark Adams on bass, and he was not... Sandy Anderson of NYC died from COVID complications in 2020... Sandy had Mark style and sound down 🥶 cold....
Ah yeah! Mark Adams & Danny Webster up front in the mix! I like this song, but this version will be put in my playlist right away. Thanks for sharing Roger.
We are all down with you MarkJr. and Sheena we need justice for Mark Leslie Adams aka The Hansolor aka BASSDOGG uniquely gifted brother that played with one of the funkiest band of their time hopefully everyone can push aside the differences between them and bring back a beautiful relationship amongst each other, I grew up right behind these guys without realizing that we were all pretty much the same age that was my inspiration to start playing bass guitar the band itself put a spark in me that's still burning to this day not a day goes by without a SLAVE song in the CD thank you to all remaining members of Slave for your contribution of talent that inspired me to play I'm teaching my grandkids the importance of music and the actual learning the instrument and reading notes so come on Mr.Webster, Mr.Miller, Mr.Arrington, Mr.Washington, Mr.Dozier, Mr.Carter, Mrs.Young/Taylor, Mr.Jones and any member I failed to recognize you made beautiful music and memories that will last a life time again thanks for the ride because it was one too remember 4ever my fav band of all time SLAVE !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!I
The most unique bass player of all Time, Mark Adams. Love the brother's Playing of his lead guitar equally as well. (Mark Hicks RIP) Somebody need to release this version of Jazzy Lady already as well as the Bad Enuff CD as they will live on through there music!
When "slide" debuted in '77 I was 17 years old, through the years I've always listed to slave, reading about they're history coming up in the birthplace of funk, mark adams has always been my favorite funk bassist, the best, learning how he passed really bothers me. In tribute to this article I listened to "feel my love" one of MY all time favorites.
my mother delora buford did your daddy band comsic she did hot number auntoshow band lakesideband did the printing for the dayton funk musiual in dayton i,m her daguther peggathee
I think Mark Hansolo Adams bass playing was so magnificent,it should be studied in music classes in schools colleges and universities.Slave made some great funk music. There albums stone jam showtime and unchained at last were funk classics. Danny Webster their co lead vocalist and lead guitar was also incredibly gifted and underrated . Imagine the best funk bassist in funk history found murdered with his head smashed laying on the ground and those animals got away with it .
Slave is my favorite Funk Band of all time. Their bassist, in my opinion, was and is one of the funkiest ever! How he came up with those incredible lines and runs always amazes me. Sorry to hear of his passing! Pure genius of the bass.
LOVE THIS CATT---MARK ADAMS--AND SLAVE!!!! THESE CATTS WERE ORIGINAL AND WILL ALWAYS BE KNOWN AS "FUNK PIONEERS‼️‼️‼️" THEIR MUSIC STILL STANDS THE TEST OF TIME❣️🔥❣️🔥❣️🔥❣️
