I won with exactly 59 of the same cards in my Tournament, I just didn't have a third Tipo, so I played one Mickey instead. I still believe in Blue/Steel and thank you for your videos!
The increased prize support made it easier to sneak in to top 8. Got 7 of 14 at my local yesterday. I might try to go to more just for fun. I got upsurdly lucky in set 4 and got top 4 thanks to a lucky dime into top deck tomatoa. So with that I have 2 of 2 promo cards I have been around for which is pretty dope. One of these days, I hope to do well enough to win a mat.
Your comments regarding ruby amethyst location spam was my exact experience yesterday. Had no location removal and missed a 2 drop in some of my games. It was ROUGH. Still made top 4, but I think if I switched back from Mickey to tipo and added location removal those situations wouldn’t come up as much.
@ryancarper6700 it is still beatable for sure. But if we are aiming to improve situations and make mu winnable it's felt like location hate is the way to go. Turning RP into a 2:0 hopefully
I’m a fan of changes. I think it’s also worth not selling making top 8 short. Still many people that never have. It’s still an accomplishment getting there. They deserve something if stores weren’t providing prize support. Do I think 3/4th need a little more incentive, of course, but I think stores can take away all prize support from 5-8 and give it to 3/4
Really glad to get some BS rep in any store champs! I based mine off this list for this weekend but swapped out a Fortisphere and Arges for 2x Hooks against Aggro - any thoughts on that? Cheers and appreciate your vids mate!
@somerandomfilodude not a bad call but if I take out a fortisphere I tend to wanna replace it with something else that helps draw me cards like visions.
Interesting cause at my local set championship there was no RB. Everyone played ruby sapphire, steel song or emerald amethyst 🤔 Thanks for the content!
@@harlansweete I see then how can you remove big bodies besides let it go and possibly Po? I thought people put down grab your swords and still use zeus? For locations and big bodies
@@drorios8864 if its something really big like toa or fasa then can let it go. Anything else its worth trading with, then 3 health stuff use tink + GYS
