Mahashivaratri is one of the most significant festivals in the Indian calendar. This night of worship dedicated to Lord Shiva was given renewed life and a new dimension by Bhagawan through the very unique and profound event called the Lingodbhavam. Through this discussion, we explore the history and significance of the Lingodbhavam and ruminate on the concept of the Lingam itself. We also recall a few beautiful manifestations of the Lingam by Bhagawan. As we approach the festival of Mahashivaratri, may we turn our minds to the Lord and make the best use of this sacred opportunity.

Sairam brothers Sri Sai Prem n Ishu. Many many thanks for the exhaustive satsang on "Lingothbhavam". In this regard I would like to share a rare opportunity which happened to me n my wife on SHIVRATHRI DAY. We were accommodated in C 6 of S9 by the help of Sri Raveendran who happened to be our uncle . He was a staunch devotee of Bhagwan n good bhajan singer. Durin that day when we were preparing to go to Sai Kulwant Hall for the Divine presence my wife asked the small
container where we store Vibhuti to
put on her forehead. When she opened the container and put her finger inside she felt something unusual and removed. When I was asked whether any outside object was put inside my red was 'No'. When we came to light we were shocked to see a small ' Saptika Lingam' inside the container. This incident actually happened in the year 1999. From that year every year we used to visit the ABODE during Shivrathri day. We have kept the Lingam in our Altar.

Dear Brothers thank you so much! I enjoyed so much through the whole satsang and got to know that many profound details on linga and lingabhavam, which is not avalable and hardly understandable for me as for the european person. I only intuitevely could guess why is certain things are done, what is the deep meaning of it and the way i have behave..Hindu culture information is almost not avalable outside Mother India or sometimes I could find real nonsense..I am so happy that I have you and u can reveal this knowledge given by Bhagavan with love and devotion.
