The outside flange is the same diameter of the blade cage!!? But can’t cut a 21” square to the outside or you can secure it with the flange!!?

Is it safe to use an extension cord ? I had to use an orange ridgid cord because my fan didn’t come with wiring kit

I would think so it sized correctly. I use extension cords on much larger motors and fans.

How much did it lower the temperature?

I’d say 5-10 degrees cooler in the am because the evening heat gets exhausted during the night. Very Comfortable in the mornings ‘til noonish.
