I agree with the bladder bag idea for Muntons etc...as you'll know Bulldog brews use bladder bags and they're a joy to work with over tins. The winter warmer is still around...Just opened a bottle after only one week conditioning..have to say I'm very inpressed with the taste. Atm it tastes like a good pub bitter with a nice malty side to it..not too heavy on taste but an easy drinker. Really impressed with Muntons. As a Hobgoblin fan..it still doesn't beat Muntons oaked ale which is very rich..and very tasty....but it's up there. Can't wait to try their Conkerwood which is still fermenting. Who needs commercial ale when you have Muntons? Brewed right you really wouldn't know the difference..except Muntons tastes better! Another good vid btw.
i always ferment 7/ rack for 14 days and rack to bottling. i find beers always really clear and batch prime now back, going to do a few pale ales . extract and own hop additions.
The sweetness is the good dose of crystal that they whacked into the recipe. Nice video review.
Cheers
