I landed this aircraft on top of Enchanted Rock, a granite dome in Texas about halfway between Fredericksburg and Llano. Barely stopped it in time before it rolled off the edge. Fun plane to fly!
Its actually one of my favorite planes. I mainly fly bush trips in Alaska and act like im taking people into the wild and back to civilization, and the Monster Cub is perfect for it because of its insane low takeoff and landing speed, and the fact that you can engage the parking brake before landing on dirt makes it stop on a dime
The small islands in the F;;orida Keys, and the Florida Gulf coast are interesting landing places, some have small grass runways, some have no runways. Try landing STOL in those places.
This is a great little plane! Where were you flying this? Australia is my home country. If you want a great place to fly this plane, try the top north west of Tasmania!

I have just discovered the Cub. Great fun in VR for island and mountain trips 😍
The GotGravel NX Cub is perhaps my favourite for bush/low and slow. Tricycle undercarriage makes for easy landings. Great review!

This is lately my favorite aircraft for normal runway landings- with a whole lot of forgiveness- because I’m not all that good at landings! lol
There are some uninhabited islands out to the west of Key West, I land on sometimes.
