I own a Husky with this same panel and I have to say (from watching your video) they really got some things right. The over speed was spot on. Mine hits 2710 on takeoff which is over the max of 2700. The engine instruments are somewhat accurate. They simplified things a little bit I can see why. I usually takeoff and land with full flaps. The takeoffs just bring a smile to my face. Break ground and slowly bring the flaps up to accelerate to VX of 69 mph. I just wish they had it in my color scheme, N152CW!
Hello Kent, Thank you very much for the info - always brilliant to get some feedback from those that have flown the aircraft in the real world. It's great to hear that Asobo did a nice job on the Husky and I'll bet it's a wonderful aircraft to own and fly! On a side note: Lovely to see you here over on the channel! There are a couple of your vids that really inspired me when I was looking to get into aviation; the Boston - Paris trip is still a video that I hold dear and having seen your comment here the other day, I went back and watched one of your MD-80 vids again - learnt a few things I never knew about the aircraft. So thanks for all your hard work over the years! Cheers and all the best : )
@@IntotheBlueSimulations Wow, small world that you saw my videos way back when. I picked up the Asobo Husky through Microsoft Cloud Gaming and an iPad. Just trying to get used to all the settings. So cool!
I love this thing! Its closer to the XCub, those two are extremely similar but I love it, already 7 hours in it! Well worth 15€. But I mostly fly these types so it make sense for me. I was just happy to see an aircraft like this from Asobo because could be fairly sure the thing would be pretty complete on release and not having to wait 3 weeks for a fix because it released broken.
Happy to hear you are enjoying it Murdoch! It is rather similar to some of the default Cubs, but I think it’s also fair to say that it does have a bit of its own “character”. I too have been enjoying my time in it, despite my reservations about it’s apparent commonality with the Savage Cub etc. Happy flying and all the best! : )
Man I laughed so hard when you suddenly showed both the Cub and the Husky, and the angle of the camera like two dogs staring at each other, excellent comic timing!! You sir are quite the artist! Thanks for the excellent reviews as always :)
Haha, thanks Nathaniel! I know it’s not very modest of me to say, but I was quite pleased with that one myself hehe ; ) My pleasure on the video, glad you enjoyed it! All the best : )
IMO the Husky is a near perfect aircraft for msfs 2020. A taildragger which operates off water, snow and most hard surfaces. Incredible STOL capabilities for bush, hillside and farm strips and is configured for both VFR and IFR. Having previously considered other types, I’m now building a functioning cockpit for the Husky based around the A-1B which I hope Asobo release in the future. Happy landings 🥳👍
I actually tend to agree with you Andy haha, I think the Husky fits into MSFS perfectly. My point in the video was really just that I would like to see Asobo expanding the types of flying we can do in the sim (military trainers, classic aircraft, regional turboprops etc). The Husky is great fun though and the MSFS world is there to be explored! Good luck with the cockpit building, should be fun! I would love to try something similar myself one day. . . All the best! : )
my wife said "i can hear that you're watching videos from the flight simulator guy who starts each of his sentences in a high tone and ends them in a low tone again". I was wearing headphones. damn :D
This rhythmic cadence is quite common for pilots to have, it’s a good way of communicating information, the human brain likes patterns. Aerobatic pilots use this type of speech pattern, to coordinate the timing of manoeuvres and keep formation.
Wouldn't surprise me if airline pilots are taught to intonate like that. A "falling intonation" is supposed to inspire confidence and indicate authority.
These are in my opinion the best produced reviews for FS. The tone is superb and very true to real life. I enjoy the realism. Keep going mate. Love it.
Thank you very much! High praise indeed - hugely appreciated. I try to run things realistically whilst (hopefully) still keeping things entertaining. It’s the was enjoy simming / making vids, so it’s great to know that some of you guys do as well! Cheers, all the best! : )
ive just bought this last night, and it does feel different from the XCub, the quality is much better , but yeah i did miss how similar it was to the original Cub from the outside. As you say, you also get a few types, water floats, and big tyres, and i also think, although i haven't counted them, 10 liveries, and only £12. Not to mention you can open a door in a Asobo aircraft.. Thats a novelty :-) I like it.
Yep, I agree with all of your points and I do think for the price, it offers quite a bit. I just would have loved to see something that was a complete departure from what we already have (eg a Chipmunk, Texan, Wilga etc). As I say, I probably wouldn’t have bought it if it weren’t for this review, but I am happy with it / enjoying it. Of all the cubs in the sim, it might now be my favourite (its between this one and the Savage Cub for me). The quality is certainly there though and the door does indeed open haha! The main thing is you’re enjoying it! Happy flying : )
Fair enough Jarrod. That’s very understandable and a stance I expected many would be taking! The aircraft is good fun, but then so is the Savage Cub, XCub etc - especially now we have floats / skis as default (not to mention the freeware options). All the best! : )
I think that’s fair comment James. I do think it’s the best all-rounder and probably the most fun of the bunch. If one is a Cub aficionado, it’s well worth it; but for a lot of people I don’t think it offers a tonne extra to justify another purchase. I’m sure most who pick it up will be happy with it though : ) Cheers!
"To see Asobo themselves bring yet another high-wing, tail-wheel, single-engine aircraft into the sim... it's a little bit disappointing. There are so many other aircraft I would love to see in Microsoft Flight Simulator, even done to a default standard, and I'm not really sure that the Husky offers an awful lot over what we already have available to us." AGREED! This was my very first thought when I learned of the release. "Another one?! Seriously?" What I WOULD love to see is something CLASSIC in the sim, like the Junkers JU52, the old Spirit of St. Louis, a Lockheed Electra, a Beechcraft 18, a DC-3... anything! Just not another "high-wing, tail-wheel, single-engine (propeller), GA aircraft".
Hi Kevin, Yep, totally on the same page as you; I would love to see some classic machinery in the sim (a la FS2004). I’m told though (from a 2nd hand source) that Asobo actually have a JU52 in the works, so that should be more up your street by the sounds of it! All the best : )
Yes, we needed the Aviat Husky A-1C. It is much better than the Savage Cub and worth every penny. I would have paid double to have this plane! Thanks for reviewing.
Hehe, fair enough Panthros! I actually completely agree that the Husky is well worth the asking price, I very much enjoy the aircraft myself. I perhaps didn’t articulate myself very well; my point was really that there are so many types of aircraft that we are missing in the sim that I would love to see (military trainers, classic aircraft, regional turboprops etc) - I (personally) would have liked to have seen Asobo expand the types of flying we can do in the sim, before working on another bush plane. Again though, I do enjoy the Husky and MSFS is obviously the perfect outlet for bush aircraft : ) Cheers, all the best!
The XCub variant we have in the sim for example while still a STOL aircraft is more oriented to long distance flying with some off airport landings sprinkled in. The Husky, this specific one is even more STOL oriented, similar power, a bit lower speed. I found a really fun field to play on with these in Alaska, 45AA, 600 ft strip in the middle of no where north of Anchorage, its just a small island in a lake with some houses and a strip. Just enough for a small GA to take off and land. The husky could have had better breaks. I think the XCub has 186 hp vs this ones 200. Husky has a constant speed prop, so adds a little bit of complexity, has a tiny bit more fuel too. Weight wise they are almost identical, 50 pounds difference. Husky is actually lighter but that hardly matters since its such a small difference. Like I said, Xcub we have is the one intended more for long range and good cruise speed. I think its variety enough to make it a nice addition but I do understand for people that are not nerding out on these types as much as I do its just another cub clone. And I know most of the numbers I mention mean little to nothing in the sim. People often go to stalls to see if a plane behaves as expected and that make sense. I'm not 100% sure how this stalls IRL, I have a rough idea. But it sure stalls as you see in the video as well and it spins... I learned that while fooling around in the mountains last night, almost crashed! xD And those flying 130 kts in 747's in group flights, please go back to Minecraft ;P
Yes, I think for any “Cub aficionados”, this one is a good pick up. It’s the best all-rounder of the Cubs in the sim and arguably the most fun as well. I started doing stall tests in reviews, as initially most aircraft had little to no stall characteristics modelled in MSFS. I figure it’s a good way to see if the flight model has a little more “going on”; it must be said though, that this does seem to be improving generally in the sim. Like you, I don’t really know how the real-world aircraft behaves at the stall, but the behaviour of the Husky seems plausible (which is all I’m really looking for from a £12 aircraft) and I actually like how the aircraft handles at low speed overall (as you relate in your story, it’s easy to get caught out!). Thanks very much for suggesting the strip (45AA), sounds fun! I’ll have to check it out for myself. Cheers Murdoch, all the best! : )
Great Lee, glad to hear you’re enjoying it! Without a doubt, for anyone looking for another Cub-esque aircraft, the Husky is excellent value for money! Happy flying : )
It's good that Asobo have developed this. Now it's time for them to go back and update some of the default planes in various packs. The Pipistrel Virus Ultra (from the Dev Filename) was clearly going to be an electric plane. That would be very nice. Also the Virus comes in a tailwheel version which also could be modelled. The Zlin Shock Ultra has a huge space in the middle of the dash where the I.Pad from the Husky could be mounted. Some of the planes still have non working buttons. It's time these planes were finished. ✈️
Exactly Max, that was a point that strangely only occurred to me after the video. I like the Husky and the quality is good, but what about all the default aircraft that still need work and have seen little if any since release? The default aircraft are all pretty beautiful graphically, so why not continue to improve the systems, flight modelling etc (Asobo must have learned a few tricks over the last year). I do hope this is done at some point. Cheers, all the best! : )
I'm an old school analog dials and needles guy, was disappointed to see this is yet another glass panel filled cockpit. The DC-6 was a dream plane I was happy to see. I agree there are more than enough Cubs and Cub-like planes. The Zlin Shock Ultra is my fave. Next I hope they'll do a Pilatus or de Havilland, but I fear it'll be another Cessna...maybe a twin next time if Carenado doesn't beat them to one.
Nice. That’s certainly something a little bit different! Haha, if I see any attempt to cram a Garmin unit in there, I’ll be doing an about-turn! : P Cheers
Likewise John! I am enjoying the Husky though to be fair, it is an “acceptable” balance between the old and the new (more so than I thought it would be) and it does have a bit of character. Wouldn’t have been my first choice though for sure. Someone else reckoned that Asobo are in fact working on a JU52! Something a bit different haha. I’ll cry if I see a Garmin unit within 20m of that thing! XD All the best! : )
@@Vograx I just saw a prevew for that Junkers. The instruments aren't "glass' but they are decades more advanced than the originals. That kinda dissapointed me.
I think the Husky combines the best parts of the XCub and the Savage Cub. I always felt that the Savage Cub is basically an ultralight in the shape of a Cub. I really like the rawness and simplicity of it, and the paint schemes, but I've always felt it was really boring to fly because it is too light and it has such a low wing load. I love the performance of the XCub, but let's be honest, it's not really a bush plane, especially with that spring gear. Also I really dislike the cockpit and the high-tech luxury of it. It's just not raw enough. This Aviat Husky combines the best of both of these Cubs: A decent Cub-like flight model with a rugged, bare bones look and cockpit. Honestly I'd be totally happy if they removed the XCub and Savage Cub all together and just added this to the base game. The Aviat Husky is truly the all-round Cub and I'm glad to have it!
I’d agree with almost all of that James. The Husky really is the best of both worlds and does offer up an enjoyable experience. I’ve always enjoyed the Savage Cub myself, I prefer having the Steam gauges as well. I don’t fly the X Cub much, but it can be nice for cruising the back country. The Husky does have its own character though and I can certainly see myself flying it some more. The main thing of course is that you are enjoying it. Happy flying! : )
Got this the other day. I actually really like it. I like that it feels a bit heavy on the flight controls, like it has some substance to it. I like the modern cockpit layout too. It's very well put together, I think. A bit like the C170, that's also a great plane in my opinion. Great review, by the way.
Thanks once again Michael! I like it too. I think maybe I came across as being overly negative towards the Husky, I’m not. I just wondered whether Asobo couldn’t have given us something different, or fixed up what we already have. That being said, the Husky is definitely the best of the bunch in terms of the Cubs - very enjoyable to fly. I really like the C170 as well. I think for me, the C170 has the edge over the Husky, due to its age and aesthetics (I also rather enjoy how it flies). All the best! : )
Thank you for the excellent review. As always comprehensive done. Got this plane too. It is fun to fly and regarding to the price a blast I would say. Take care and have a nice day👍
I like the cockpit of the Husky and she's a nice stable flyer. Personally I can never get enough bush aircraft as my general motto is fast becoming 'if I can't land it in a field, I ain't flying it' but I do agree with your point about the similarities. Great video as always.
Haha, the poor little Husky. . . I’m not against it as an aircraft, in fact I really like / enjoy it and MSFS really encourages the sort of flying you just described; I just feel there’s a slew of other aircraft types still lacking in the sim (eg, classic aircraft, military trainers, regional turboprops), would be nice to see some of those addressed first. Would also be nice to see Asobo continue to work on the default aircraft, before trying to sell newer ones, since some of them could still use some work (that’s always a grey area though, as maybe they sub-contracted the Husky out etc). Thanks very much! Glad you enjoyed the video and happy flying! : )
I’m sure some of the assets will find their way onto other aircraft / projects at some point. The Shock Ultra has a big hole in the panel that would fit that GPS unit perfectly ; ) Cheers!
Well it bodes well overall then. I’m certainly happy with the quality, if a little bit less fussed with the aircraft choice. To my mind, Asobo are rather like Carenado. They certainly know how to make a very pretty, reasonably well rounded and cost effective GA aircraft. Give them something more complex though and it’s tends to fall a little short. . . Someone else reckoned that Asobo have a JU52 in the works. That could be fun! All the best : )
Quite a nice plane actually . Fully agree with what you say about the similarities between it and the other cubs , but i think this plane has that bit of extra value with regards the paint schemes etc . I would be tempted to pick it up ( the Husky ) , but , i've just picked up the Carenado Cessna 170B , and i'm really enjoying it . For me , the Cessna 170 , at the same price point , is a cut above this , but , there's something nice about this Husky that tempts me !! ( p.s As usual , great video . Enjoyed the extra bit of info about the area you were flying in . Makes the flight all the more interesting !! ) .
Yeah, for the price, it offers quite a bit. I actually found most of the repaints to be ugly haha - I didn’t mention it during the review, as it’s purely personal taste of course. If the aircraft had come out a week earlier, I’d be have been singing its praises with the floats and the skis; now though, it’s of course something we already have plenty of in the sim. The Husky is still a nice aircraft, I am enjoying it. It does have its own character. Between the Husky and the C170 though, I’d definitely take the 170. Glad you enjoyed the vid and the tour hehe. Thanks again! : )
I think you’re going to have to wait quite a bit longer for those I’m afraid Gary, judging by Asobos update schedule. Looks like there’s a couple more nice freeware ones in development though (an R44 and a light Airbus helicopter, if memory serves me correctly). MSFS will definitely be a great sim for choppers, it would be nice to see the native support worked on. All the best! : )
This looks like a nice plane to fly. I like the digital style gauges and cockpit layout. I'll have to get it. But yeah im ready to see something original like an L-1011 or Falcon 500, im a fan of tri engine jets.
If it’s your kind of thing, I’m sure you will enjoy it Tim! It’s great fun and probably the best of all the Cubs we now have in the sim. I like it myself, I just would have loved a Tiger Moth, Texan, Chipmunk etc. “I’m a fan of tri engine jets”. . . who isn’t?? : D All the best!
I was on again off again about this, it is so very much like a cub to look at, but I 'splashed out' (LOL) and oh my gosh it's so much fun, I love having the basic cockpit with a gps map, you HAVE to fly by looking out of the window and trimming, and if you can see a clear piece of ground from a few hundred feet up you can probably land on it. I can't for the life of me trim it to fly straight - level yes, but not straight, it just keeps gently turning left. Is there rudder trim hiding somewhere that I haven't found yet ?
Haha, I was slightly disappointed that Asobo chose to go with the Husky initially, given that we already have many similar aircraft in the sim (that could still use some work themselves); but there’s no denying it’s a fun little aircraft and I’ve very much been enjoying it myself also. The “best of the bunch” when it comes to Cub-esque aircraft in the sim and very much the type of aircraft perfectly suited to MSFS. As far as straight and level goes; I don’t recall it having been a big issue for me. I’m not sure whether there’s a physical rudder trim control on the aircraft, but I’m sure I would have used my hardware to trim if anything (if rudder trim is indeed available - it’s been a while since I’ve had a chance to fly the Husky, so I can’t remember now I’m afraid). Glad you’re enjoying it, even if it is a little uncooperative haha. Happy flying! : )
Another great review from our favorite Flight Sim reviewer. Although I would love to own a real Husky (steam gauge version of course) I will have to take a pass on the Sim version. It’s just too similar to what we have already. As for turning on avionics before engine start, modern avionics are now protected against electrical surges and transits so it’s not a problem, in fact it’s required in order to see digital engine parameters. Give me an old fashion steam gauge cockpit any day! Not a huge fan of glass. Thanks for the information, as always, I never buy anything before checking your reviews first
Well thank you sir! High praise indeed! Yes, I’ve actually been watching some vids on the real-world Husky (as now youtube has started suggesting them to me haha), looks like it would be great fun to own! Totally understandable that you don’t feel the need to pick it up in the sim though. I like it, but it doesn’t offer a tonne that you can’t already get with one default Cub or another (though it probably is the best of the bunch overall). Yeah, I realised to myself whilst re-watching the vid that it was a bit of a “duh” moment - of course you need the avionics on for the engine parameters. Makes me realise that quite a bit has changed in GA since I was last properly involved with it haha. Like you, I’d still take a steam gauge any day though! ; ) Thanks as always for watching (and participating)! All the best : )
Hi MCAA, Sorry for the slow reply. I pretty much just use default settings (except I gave a -50 curve set on my rudder axis). It might be worth checking that you have your sims flight model set to “Modern”, as opposed to “Legacy”, that can sometimes cause strange behaviours / handling characteristics from addon aircraft. I haven’t had the chance to fly the Husky for a while though, so it could be that a previous update broke something. . . Let me know how you go. All the best! : )
I found the Husky a bit odd. With winds at 5kts or higher it becomes very jittery and twitchy in the air with constant bumping or vibrations. Also there is no vertical speed indication on the 3D vision view (besides the magneta prediction tape). I also felt like the interior view caused some frame drops compared to other default airplanes. Lastly I wasn’t too fond of how super crisp the digital instruments are, like the horizon attitude indicator, while the analogue instruments like airspeed and altitude are rather blurry and not crisp at all.
Interesting points Vograx. The wind I can’t really comment on / say I’ve noticed, but I have noticed similar behaviour in a couple of other aircraft recently, so I wonder if it’s not something to do with update 5? The V/S issue, you’re correct, though it didn’t bother me personally (if anything I would like less avionics in the aircraft). FPS-wise I found the aircraft to be broadly on a par with the default C152. The instruments are definitely a good point, that I forgot to bring up during the review. I was struggling to read the speed off the ASI for sure! Thanks for the input! All the best : )
I just love taildraggers. They’re more challenging to fly, but I prefer flying them over other classes of aircraft. I do agree, asobo could be focusing on more important things, such as all the issues listed in the forums. But, I’m not a developer, I’m just a consumer so my views are going to be a bit selfish as I don’t understand the entire development process.
I love taildraggers too and likewise I’m a bit ignorant as too exactly how the development process works. Asobo do / should have a lot on their plate at the moment without making addons haha, but often the “addon team” does not have the same skill set as the “coding team” etc; so I don’t think it’s a drain on resources per se. I like the Husky, but I just feel there are about 1001 other aircraft it would have been nice to sim in the sim, that don’t have a similar default counterpart. All the best! : )
Great review as always. I do wish Asobo would do a wider range of planes but I can't say disappointed at all by this having flown for 5 hours now. The cockpit to me is what makes it worth getting. It's slimmer and sleeker. The x cub gives me sensory overload having so many switches which I don't need in GA flying. Going to be one of my go to planes for a while I suspect.
Cheers Cavy! Yep, as I say, I did wish they’d gone for something else; much like you though, I am actually really enjoying the Husky now haha! It’s got a bit more character and fidelity to it than the default aircraft and it is great fun. Not one I was desperate to purchase initially, but I’m now very glad I picked it! Someone told me Asobo have a JU52 in development. That’s could be good fun if true haha! Happy flying! All the best : )
@@IntotheBlueSimulations I totally agree. I was so close to not getting this but for cost and after a few reviews I couldn't resist and I haven't been able to stop flying it since! Not sure why but the Husky just clicks for me as a bush/light aircraft. A JU52 would be a very interesting change from what have been doing! I personally having family persecuted by the Axis struggle with idea of owning a Luftwaffe plane with an iron cross on it but I totally understand that's just me being a bit overly sensitive 😅 Still though it's definitely an iconic plane and would be stupid for them not to make to be fair! Take care and Happy Flying!
I bought the Husky a couple of days ago, then at a little over £5.00 I bought the Caudron (somebody had to). That was probably a mistake as the view from the cockpit is very restricted. The aircraft flies ok but I like VFR and this view is bad enough to force you into IFR and landing on the runway means choosing a reference point somewhere in the sky. Oh well, back to the old drawing board.....................................
I nearrrly bought the Caudron myself. Looks interesting and a bit of a bargain at the moment. Ultimately the only reason I didn’t buy it is because I think it’s a bit of an ugly duckling in terms of design (it’s so close to being beautiful) and I thought it’d be weird sitting almost at the back of the aircraft haha. Sounds like a nice challenge to operate though. I’m still considering it, but I imagine it’d be one of those aircraft I’d fly once and then park up. Thanks for taking one for the team though haha, at least at £5, one can’t have tooo much buyers remorse I suppose! ; ) All the best
Hi Shane, Yep, overall it’s very nice effort from Just Flight. “Study level” always seems to mean different things to different people, but the systems modelling is certainly thorough, there’s some basic failure modelling thrown in and the aircraft flies very nicely as well. Overall a lovely option for the sim : ) Cheers!
@@IntotheBlueSimulations I really enjoy bush flying and I was going to hold off on this one because I’ve read it’s basically the same plane as the xcub. But from what I’m hearing from people it’s fun to fly. Does it feel any different than the cub. I do notice the wings and tail have a slightly different design hopefully for making the flight dynamics feel different than the xcub. Maybe slower turns and better stol capabilities? It looks beefier than the xcub. But I’ve ready their about the same weight.
If you’re into that sort of flying, I don’t think you’ll regret it Shane. My point really was that it’s “more of the same”, but the Husky in its own right is a nice little aircraft. It is good fun to fly and does feel different from the other Cubs (slightly higher quality as well). STOL-wise, I was actually a little surprised; takeoff performance is pretty decent, but it doesn’t like flying all that slow, before it want to stall and drop a wing, so landing performance is so-so. Again, I’m sure you will enjoy it, I have been myself. It’s just a question of whether or not you feel like paying $15 for a broadly similar experience to that of some of the default / freeware aircraft. I hope that offers a little more insight. Cheers, all the best! : )
That's a fantastic review - thank you. I'm doing a lot of bush flying at the minute in the CubX. Not sure if worth to purchase another aircraft so similar. I think I'll wait until Osobo release something completely different!
Thanks very much! Glad you found it useful. The Husky is a nice aircraft, probably the best out of all the Cubs. Most of what it can do, one or another of the other Cubs can do though (for free). I do really enjoy it and fly it semi-regularly, but since Asobo have now added floats and skis by default, I don’t think the Husky fills any void. As you say, might be better to save the money and wait for something more unique in the sim. Cheers, all the best! : )
The arcade like flying is typical Asobo and not surprising, but the lack of a usable VSI in an aircraft like this is inexcusable. I this could be my favorite of the Cub types so far released, but their Garmin is just awful.
Hi Sandhill, Yes, the avionics setup in the aircraft certainly wouldn’t have been my first choice. I do enjoy the Husky and as you say, it’s probably the best of the bunch, as far as Cubs go in the sim, but steam gauges would have been preferable in my opinion (and suited the aircraft better as well). The lack of VSI is odd (although you can bring up a VS trend, by selecting 3D Vision on the main display). I’ve been enjoying the Ju 52 though; so hopefully Asobo will continue to learn and improve along the way. At least their products are reasonably priced for what they are. , . All the best!
I had to hit the "like" button after one minute and fifty seconds. I do feel that every review of a product on the in-game market place should point out that the products are DRM-"protected", which means they are encrypted, ie. you cannot examine or modify the files making up the product, neither for educational purposes nor to improve or customize it. For me, this means I never purchase products which are exclusive to the in-game market place, and I purchase all non-exclusive products directly from the developers instead, if possible, or from their preferred store. This also helps to support 3rd party devs, as they get a bigger cut of my money. And now I'm gonna watch the rest of the video so I'm at least aware of what I'm missing out on.
Haha, thanks Marc! That is a very good point and certainly worth a mention. I think someone else has mentioned the same before actually. Truth be told, I always forget; as it’s still an alien principle to me that we even have aircraft that are encrypted! I will try and remember to make mention of it in the future. As a reviewer, I tend to purchase through whichever avenue the product first becomes available, but your reasoning is certainly sound. I haven’t come across too many aircraft in MSFS yet that are “grossly” off, but it’s always nice to have the option to tinker around with the flight model nonetheless. As you say, it’s also nice to support other retailers etc (Just Flight are my go-to where I can). Haha, hope you enjoyed the vid. I don’t think you’re missing toooo much with this one (I like it - but it shares a lot in common with some of the other default aircraft). Thanks again, all the best! : )
Well quite. I do enjoy the Husky, but I think there are plenty of other options out there (freeware or default), that tick most of the same boxes. Al the best! : )
So, there is not yet any decent, realistic bush aircraft released for MSFS beyond the default ones? I am aware of the Bush League Legends mod of the carbon cub. Does the Zenith go beyond the default? Would seem to me this sim cries out for a STOL, bush machine to go beyond the default offerings. Trustworthy review, as usual. Will probably buy it because of the avionics suite. I am visually impaired and the info is easy to read on the displays. Awaiting the Aerosoft Beaver.
Yeah, there’s nothing that jumps out as being a brilliant bush aircraft yet - which is surprising given the number of them that we have. There are certainly a number of very enjoyable ones, but nothing ticks all the realism boxes (that I’ve come across). Haven’t tried any of the mods myself. The Zenith is more of the same really. Glad you found the review useful, thank you very much. That’s a good point re the displays. Just be warned, the analogue instruments are a little tricky to read, as they’re a bit blurry (I forgot to mention this during the review). If you do pick it up, enjoy! : )
Loving your vids! Could the husky be a good aircraft for around the world VFR tour? I’m planning on starting a tour and I’ve been wondering which bird I should use for the journey, and this one seems versatile enough.
Thank you sir! Really glad you’re enjoying the content. Interesting question: I think the Husky *could* work; the biggest issue I would say is a lack of autopilot. I have actually done an around the word trip myself and as much as I like hand-flying, a basic autopilot makes the whole trip a lot more manageable. There are times where you might just want to rest up a bit whilst you fly etc (ultimately that’s for you to decide though of course). Fuel would probably be an issue as well. I’m not sure she’ll have the legs to cross certain parts of the planet. I did my trip in a T6 Texan, it had about a 5 hour endurance and there were a couple of stints (namely trying to cross the Pacific and the Atlantic) that I wash pushing it. You’d have to plan carefully and see what might work. Overall though, if you can make the fuel planning work and you’re happy hand-flying, I think the Husky could be a nice option. Obviously it will be a very slow trip, but I guess that’s kind of the point? She flies nicely, has enough avionics that you wont get lost, visibility is good and you can takeoff / land just about anywhere! The X Cub might be more practical perhaps, but the Husky does have a bit more soul. Good luck with it all! It’s quite an undertaking, but it can be a genuinely great experience, good fun and certainly gives you an appreciation of just how big our planet is! All the best! : )
I actually just used the in-sim checklist for this video Eamon. I don’t like opening up the checklist window though, so I wrote it all out on paper beforehand. All the best!
Thanks very much Mike (as always)! Yeah, I think the little Husky is something people are either going to love, or live without. I really like it, but in my personal experience, it doesn’t offer much that I didn’t already have in the sim. All the best : )
I love this aircraft because is a classic if you want yo fly the US backcountry and is not equipped with G1000 or similar. The only negative point are the fantasy liveries. The original Husky ones are really stunning and colourful , much better then this ones. Only one , the yellow/black one represent an original Aviat Husky livery. A shame.
The Husky is indeed great fun for some backcountry flying Antonio! I flew the aircraft again recently and had actually forgotten how enjoyable it can be. That is a shame re the liveries (I wasn't aware, as I'm not all that familiar with the Husky); presumably some of them would have been recreated / uploaded over on Flightsim.to though? Cheers : )
If you don’t want so many similar planes then don’t buy it. Some people like me who fly a real xcub love trying out similar planes and you can never have to many stol planes
I take your point Alan, but please bear in mind that this comment was made quite some time ago. Back then, the sim had a *very* limited number of addons, to the point where the default aircraft were almost the only options (many of which were STOL / taildraggers). I like a STOL aircraft as much as the next man, but I also think / thought that it’s important for a healthy audience retention in the sim, that the platform offers a decent variety of aircraft. All the best : )
Great in-depth review and although the Husky is a nice craft for its ilk, I think I will be passing on this one as it is a bit samey as the Cub but it is reasonable for the price and would probably be snapped up by a lot of people who like this or fly this craft. Thanks again
Thanks Dave! Yeah, that’s basically how I see it. It’s a nice aircraft, not much wrong with it. I could say the same about the Savage Cub as well though. This will probably be a bit more “niche” in its appeal, but I’m sure those that pick it up will enjoy it : ) All the best!
Great impressions video and well presented/constructed as always - I do like the glass cockpit and the visibility. I think, for me, VFR would be much easier in this configuration. That said I do take the point about other similar aircraft already in sim. So im on the fence with it but do like it.
Thanks James : ) Hey, if it’s appealing to you, that’s all that matters! It is a fun little aircraft and I’m sure the people who pick it up will enjoy it. I just feel that a lot of what it can do, can be done with other default aircraft. That being said, I’m enjoying it myself, so who am I to “gatekeep” haha! We’ll have to get a Cub group flight on the go one of these days! Cheers
@@IntotheBlueSimulations LOL that sounds a great idea -Team Cub lol :-). Count me in hahahahaha. I think as you said in the video given the cost its 'sort of' worth it. But i still havent taken the plunge yet lol :-) Al lthe best :-)
Hehe, great! Well, I’m just waiting on the arrival of my new PC parts and then hopefully I’ll start doing some live-streams / community events from time to time : ) Cheers!
Excellent review. Asobo's Aviat Husky has a problem: When I use the left wheel brake, the plane brakes the right wheel and tries to turn right, and when I use the right brake, the plane brakes the left wheel and tries to turn to the left. Hope this is corrected soon.
Thank you very much Carlos! Glad you enjoyed it. How strange. . . and this is only happening for you on the Husky? I flew the aircraft fairly recently and wasn’t experiencing the same issues myself. Either way, if it is causing you issues, I hope Asobo do indeed get it fixed up soon! Thanks again and all the best! : )
That's right, this happens to me only with the Asobo Aviat Husky. With no other aircraft I have problems even with tail draggers like Cub Crafter, Cessna 170B, Stearman, Extra 300, Pitts etc. A few minutes ago I flew the Husky again and I have the same problem with the brakes that are reversed, the rudder if it works in the correct direction. I am using the Thrustmaster rudder pedals. Thank you for responding and for your attention.
It is correct, after the last up date the problem with the inverted brakes continues, and even braking with the arrow in the keyboard gives the same problem during the taxi at low speed. It is with the only plane that I have problems with, all the other planes work perfectly. You could try to use the brakes with the arrow keys to see what happens and then please tell me. Thank you
Hello again Carlos, Finally had the time to install and test the Husky. Indeed, there does seem to be a problem with the brakes at the moment. The good news is, it’s not just a problem on your end haha; the bad news is the aircraft is bugged and Carenado didn’t even fix it with the last update. That’s a shame. I guess we’ll have to wait for another update,. Sorry to be the bearer of bad news, but at least now you know it’s nothing you’ve done wrong! All the best! : )
I'm having trouble tipping this plane over on landing with brakes applied. I'm pulling back on the elevator to keep her glued down. But, she tips over alot right before coming to a complete stop. Anyone having trouble with this? Thanks.
Hi AT, I haven’t had the chance to fly the Husky in a while, but it certainly didn’t used to be an issue for me with the aircraft. Have you checked the weight and balance - perhaps a recent update has thrown that out of whack? I see that the aircraft got updated as well recently. Has that done anything to fix your issues? All the best : )
Hi Kendall, It actually released with quite a few liveries, but all of them are only available on the standard-tyre variant of the aircraft. The rest of the variants as you say, only come with the one livery. Not quite sure why, seems like a bit of a silly decision to me - wouldn’t have been a lot of extra work to match up the paint on the floats / skis. Personally, the yellow livery is actually my favourite, but a strange decision nonetheless. Cheers!
Haha, thanks Ronnie. I do hear that from time to time, it’s nothing intentional on my part (that’s just how orate apparently), but I’ll take it! I’ve also been told I sound like cabin crew soooo. . . XD Cheers, all the best! : )
This can't even be compared to the default savage cub which is totally borked and nothing like the real aircraft. The default savage cub is way overpowered compared to IRL and over performs in game compared to its real life counterpart
Well ironically, doesn’t that bring the Savage Cub closer in terms of behaviour to the Husky then? I agree that the Husky is the better aircraft in most respects, but I still think it’s fair to say that the aircraft have quite a bit in common. I’m enjoying the Husky, there are just quite a few other aircraft types that I would have loved to see in the sim (eg military trainers, vintage aircraft, regional turboprops etc); I don’t think Asobos next offering needed to be the Husky. . . Only my opinion though of course, I know many others disagree. . . All the best! : )
I kinda have mixed feelings about it. I really like the plane and it is basically the exact type of plane I usually fly. But on the other hand the XCub and Savage Cub (including the modded variants) can give me basically the same experience. I'm probably going to wait and think about it. Although I should probably buy a joystick first. Anyways, thanks for the review mate!
It’s a nice plane and good fun but yeah, you can basically have the same experience with the default aircraft and definitely once you throw in some mods as well. As you say, it’s always a good idea to sit on these things and see how you feel in a week or so. Haha, I’d definitely save my pennies and get a joystick instead! Makes simming so much more fun : )
@@IntotheBlueSimulations You know I really like how the Husky looks though. Ahh man too many things and not enough money. There's some other really nice planes available as well. I could get a biplane as well, since the vanilla game only has the bonkers Pitts. And it is quite sketchy on a controller. Also you should probably catch some sleep instead of going through TH-cam comments! It's the middle of the night mate 🙃
Haha, agreed! The Husky looks great and as silly as it is, I love the name and the tail art as well. As you say, always too many choices and not enough finances sadly haha. The Stearman is great if you’re looking for a biplane (though the Waco wins in the beauty department). Very good quality and not too pricey. Certainly not as nuts as the Pitts - I’d imagine that is quite the challenge on a controller haha! The freeware Tiger Moth is also worth a go. . . Hehe, yes you were absolutely right! Unfortunately my friends dog (who I was looking after) didn’t feel it was a good time to be asleep, so I thought I might as well at least make productive use of my time ha : / Cheers : )
@@IntotheBlueSimulations So... I went out and indeed bought a joystick. Big improvement over a controller and flying is actually easier with it. I feel like the Waco would be my choice since I just really like how it looks. And yes, the Pitts is basically unflyable (for me) with a controller. However I love it. At our local airshows there's always one red Pitts doing acrobatics and it's just fantastic. Speaking of airshows there's always one Tiger Moth (unless I'm mixing it up with another biplane), that has been showing up yearly to one airshow since I was just a kid. Ahhh good memories... Trust me man I know the struggle of having hyperactive animals. One of the neighbours cats always used to wake me up, when I was younger and trying to sleep. The little hairy bastard always wanted to sleep on my pillow and didn't accept anything else. Well, I hope the dog eventually calmed down and you got some rest. Cheers!
Yay, nice! A joystick makes such a big difference right? A good investment for sure if you’re still enjoying the sim! The Waco is beautiful, it sounds lovely too, so it is a nice option for cruising around. Haha, well cats are pure evil, so that makes sense : P My little 4-legged friend never really did calm down, but he’s gone now, so I can sleep again (until work picks up anyway haha). All the best!
The Husky is definitely my favorite "Bush" style plane among the available options. Really not a fan of the others. Anyone else getting a bug where the Husky is stuck in place on spawn in and won't roll?
@@IntotheBlueSimulations oh yeah. It started about a month ago and I am still experiencing it now. I am sure it will get sorted. Nothing changed on my end. At least the floats work :)
Hmm, well sorry to hear that, very strange. Very “MSFS” that we’re having completely different experiences haha. As you say, I’m sure they will fix whatever is causing it. In the mean time, happy sailing! ; )
Haha, well the registry was based of the initials of the channel name, but the above had occurred to me and is probably quite suitable, given that I waffle on about flight simulation XD Cheers!
But this one is a husky 🤠👍I bought it because it has a that beautiful embroidered husky on the seat 💺 Is that Catalina island? 🤔 I didn't even bother opening the window on mine 😅 didn't even know it opened!
I do like the Husky, it has some character and the seats and indeed the tail are rather nice (I do like the dogs, as well as the aircraft haha). It wasn’t Catalina island, but only a few miles out to the north of it. Funnily enough, I had originally planned to record the video on Catalina island, but decided to change locations, as I flew into Catalina relatively recently on the channel (looking to head back there again soon though). All the best! : )
@@IntotheBlueSimulations sad thing is I grew up in California, lived to close to Catalina and never visited. I'm noticing this husky needs a lot of runway to land compared to the other cubs.
Ah, that’s a shame. From what I’ve seen in the sim, it looks nice! Yes, the Husky doesn’t seem to like being low speed as much as the other Cubs (bit strange for a STOL aircraft). I’ve found you need to approach a bit faster (nose attitude ends up being quite high otherwise also), which means you tend to eat up more runway to bring it to a stop. It’s not crazy, but not quite what I was expecting. Cheers! : )
Not sure you'd buy it? It's like 15 dollars 🤨 Personally, I like the idea of supporting Asobo. Not to mention everything it has going for it with the variations.
Hi Gary, I agree, it’s great to support developers; but personally I don’t choose to extend that support, as far as buying products that aren’t of interest to me (and even then, often I do for review purposes). As far as the Husky goes, personally at the time of purchase, I just didn’t see much that was appealing to me ($15 or otherwise). Ultimately though I’m glad I did pick it up, as I’m very much enjoying it! The quality is there and as you say, it has a decent amount of variation etc. All the best!
@@IntotheBlueSimulations Hey... An honest review though 👍 All I'm saying is that I saw how support eventually ended with Microsoft, and I don't wanna see the same thing happen here. Especially when so much is cloud based.
You’re absolutely right Gary and I certainly don’t want to see that happen either. I’m sure though that Microsoft get a kickback from any addon sold for the sim (at least through the Marketplace) and I think / hope that the sim having such an unprecedented interest from newcomers, means it has a healthy and long life ahead of it. Cheers! : )
The flight and ground handling would need to be next-level to tempt me away from the Savage Grravel (230hp and free to install). Excellent work as usual though. Always great presentation even for a relatively simple review. Random fact - I'm pretty sure it was a Husky that Harrison Ford managed to land on a taxiway, in front of a 737, a few years ago.
Yeah, they certainly aren’t that Roland. It’s a nice aircraft - but you can feel the “default” vibes when you fly it. Haha, I think you may well be right. Well that’s one good reason to purchase it. If it’s cool enough for Harrison Ford, it’s cool enough for me! Cheers as alway! : )
I hate to tell you this again mate, but this looks stuttery again! Like its low FPS, which I know is not the case. Sorry to be the bearer of bad news. Nice review.
Oh really?? Damn. . . Didn’t even notice it at all myself this time. I did crank the FPS back up to 60 (so probably my own fault), but it was achieving that and it “felt “super smooth at the time (except for the odd major stutter). Well, I appreciate the info once again. Good news is, new computer is on the way haha! ; ) Thanks again, all the best! : )
Haha, it does have a bit of that vibe going on at the moment yes. I am enjoying the Husky, but I agree it is rather lacking in originality. Still, I hear one of Asobos next projects is a JU52! Odd, but certainly not dull. All the best!
Hello Kent,
Thank you very much for the info - always brilliant to get some feedback from those that have flown the aircraft in the real world.
I know it’s not very modest of me to say, but I was quite pleased with that one myself hehe ; )
My pleasure on the video, glad you enjoyed it!
I was wearing headphones. damn :D
lmao
I can't help but notice this now! Always sounds like a Captain making an announcement over the PA system.
@@AdamsSIMporium I can't un-hear it either, now.....lol
As you say, there are enough decent Cubs in the sim already. I won't be rushing out to buy this.
Of all the Cubs in the sim, this is the best one though
Fair enough Jarrod. That’s very understandable and a stance I expected many would be taking! The aircraft is good fun, but then so is the Savage Cub, XCub etc - especially now we have floats / skis as default (not to mention the freeware options).
All the best! : )
I think that’s fair comment James. I do think it’s the best all-rounder and probably the most fun of the bunch. If one is a Cub aficionado, it’s well worth it; but for a lot of people I don’t think it offers a tonne extra to justify another purchase. I’m sure most who pick it up will be happy with it though : )
Cheers!
cant have enough cublike planes, i would love an auster 3
"To see Asobo themselves bring yet another high-wing, tail-wheel, single-engine aircraft into the sim... it's a little bit disappointing. There are so many other aircraft I would love to see in Microsoft Flight Simulator, even done to a default standard, and I'm not really sure that the Husky offers an awful lot over what we already have available to us."
AGREED!
Hi Kevin,
Yep, totally on the same page as you; I would love to see some classic machinery in the sim (a la FS2004). I’m told though (from a 2nd hand source) that Asobo actually have a JU52 in the works, so that should be more up your street by the sounds of it!
All the best : )
well then
Yes, we needed the Aviat Husky A-1C.
Again though, I do enjoy the Husky and MSFS is obviously the perfect outlet for bush aircraft : )
Cheers, all the best!
I learned that while fooling around in the mountains last night, almost crashed! xD
And those flying 130 kts in 747's in group flights, please go back to Minecraft ;P
I purchased this yesterday and have flown it a few times! Enjoyable ! The float version is nice to fly ! Great for the price 🙏🏻👍👨✈️✈️
Great Lee, glad to hear you’re enjoying it! Without a doubt, for anyone looking for another Cub-esque aircraft, the Husky is excellent value for money!
Happy flying : )
Oh and wow, nice landing!
Haha, thanks very much! : )
Hahaha - I actually wanted to send you an email -2 mins ago - to ask you to review this - You so on the ball sir !
Haha, one step ahead if you Pierre! ; )
Somebody needs to make a long shock, fat tire version for off airport use.
Asobo is working on. Junkers 52, so another semi-large plane with no glass is coming. Well, I presume no glass in a Ju52 anyways.
Nice. That’s certainly something a little bit different! Haha, if I see any attempt to cram a Garmin unit in there, I’ll be doing an about-turn! : P
Cheers
Likewise John! I am enjoying the Husky though to be fair, it is an “acceptable” balance between the old and the new (more so than I thought it would be) and it does have a bit of character. Wouldn’t have been my first choice though for sure. Someone else reckoned that Asobo are in fact working on a JU52! Something a bit different haha. I’ll cry if I see a Garmin unit within 20m of that thing! XD
All the best! : )
@@Vograx I just saw a prevew for that Junkers. The instruments aren't "glass' but they are decades more advanced than the originals. That kinda dissapointed me.
Ahh, that is a bit disappointing. . .
Nice review! Love your vids!!
Thanks very much Lexar! Glad you’re enjoying the content : )
All the best!
@@IntotheBlueSimulations no I kind of see where you're coming from, there are an awful lot of tail draggers on the game. I do like them though.
Thank you for the excellent review. As always comprehensive done.
Got this plane too. It is fun to fly and regarding to the price a blast I would say.
Take care and have a nice day👍
You’re very welcome as always sir! Glad you’re enjoying the Husky! Happy flying and have a great day : )
I like the cockpit of the Husky and she's a nice stable flyer.
@@IntotheBlueSimulations Perhaps they could reuse some of the art resources from the Cub.
I’m sure some of the assets will find their way onto other aircraft / projects at some point. The Shock Ultra has a big hole in the panel that would fit that GPS unit perfectly ; )
Cheers!
@@IntotheBlueSimulations I would LOVE the GPS from the Husky in the Shock!
These early Asobo products, are basically just R&D projects for them.

“I’m a fan of tri engine jets”. . . who isn’t?? : D

Shouldn’t have to wait toooo long on that one! ; )
Haha - touché!
Like you, I’d still take a steam gauge any day though! ; )
Thanks as always for watching (and participating)! All the best : )
Love the Husky but what are the settings though the husky for me is very jumpy up and down by the slightest touch of the yoke during flight
Hi MCAA,
Sorry for the slow reply.
Is he using track ir? The movement is so smooth
I am indeed James : )
Thanks for taking one for the team though haha, at least at £5, one can’t have tooo much buyers remorse I suppose! ; )
All the best
I’d like to see some warriors & Cherokee’s
We have the Just Flight Warrior now! : )
I heard it’s a great plane. Study level
Hi Shane,
Yep, overall it’s very nice effort from Just Flight. “Study level” always seems to mean different things to different people, but the systems modelling is certainly thorough, there’s some basic failure modelling thrown in and the aircraft flies very nicely as well. Overall a lovely option for the sim : )
Cheers!
Hi Sandhill,
Yes, the avionics setup in the aircraft certainly wouldn’t have been my first choice.
If i want a powerful VTOL Bushplane i will stay with my totally free Savage Grravel or the Savage Carbon.
Where do you get the checklists you are using for this aircraft?
I actually just used the in-sim checklist for this video Eamon. I don’t like opening up the checklist window though, so I wrote it all out on paper beforehand.
All the best!
Another great review, always look forward to hearing your analysis on the aircraft. Think I'll pass on this but still non the less great review.
This will probably be a bit more “niche” in its appeal, but I’m sure those that pick it up will enjoy it : )
All the best!
Nice review, does this plane have an autopilot?
Thanks very much!
It doesn’t I’m afraid. All manual this one. . .
All the best! : )
Great impressions video and well presented/constructed as always - I do like the glass cockpit and the visibility. I think, for me, VFR would be much easier in this configuration. That said I do take the point about other similar aircraft already in sim. So im on the fence with it but do like it.
Thanks James : )
Hey, if it’s appealing to you, that’s all that matters!

That’s very strange Carlos.
I see that the Husky has now been updated. Did that fix your issue?
Cheers, all the best : )
It is correct, after the last up date the problem with the inverted brakes continues, and even braking with the arrow in the keyboard gives the same problem during the taxi at low speed. It is with the only plane that I have problems with, all the other planes work perfectly. You could try to use the brakes with the arrow keys to see what happens and then please tell me.
Thank you
Hello again Carlos,
Finally had the time to install and test the Husky.
Thanks.
Hi AT,
I haven’t had the chance to fly the Husky in a while, but it certainly didn’t used to be an issue for me with the aircraft. Have you checked the weight and balance - perhaps a recent update has thrown that out of whack? I see that the aircraft got updated as well recently. Has that done anything to fix your issues?
All the best : )
Why did they release it with only (1) livery? ? ?
Hi Kendall,
It actually released with quite a few liveries, but all of them are only available on the standard-tyre variant of the aircraft.
Cheers!
You sound just like a captain on an airliner :)
Haha, thanks Ronnie. I do hear that from time to time, it’s nothing intentional on my part (that’s just how orate apparently), but I’ll take it! I’ve also been told I sound like cabin crew soooo. . . XD
Cheers, all the best! : )
@@IntotheBlueSimulations It’s a good thing, clear and concise, no bull :) Easy to follow, don’t change.
Unfortunately my friends dog (who I was looking after) didn’t feel it was a good time to be asleep, so I thought I might as well at least make productive use of my time ha : /
Cheers : )
Hi Britton. I did some testing, all was fine on my end. Are you still having the issues?
Cheers!
In the mean time, happy sailing! ; )
GIT BS? Cheers! What a play on registry.
Haha, well the registry was based of the initials of the channel name, but the above had occurred to me and is probably quite suitable, given that I waffle on about flight simulation XD
Cheers!
Cheers! : )
C'mon devs let's have an Hawker Hurricane!
I’d love to see that or a P47 🤤
😮 or a C-47/DC-3
Yes! : D
I believe Aeroplane Heaven are working on a DC3 at the moment : )
Not sure you'd buy it? It's like 15 dollars 🤨 Personally, I like the idea of supporting Asobo. Not to mention everything it has going for it with the variations.
Hi Gary,
I agree, it’s great to support developers; but personally I don’t choose to extend that support, as far as buying products that aren’t of interest to me (and even then, often I do for review purposes).
15 bucks is expensive. 4 of those will buy you the whole game!
@@IntotheBlueSimulations Hey... An honest review though 👍
All I'm saying is that I saw how support eventually ended with Microsoft, and I don't wanna see the same thing happen here.
Cheers! : )
@@IntotheBlueSimulations Let's hope 🤞
It doesn’t even have a compass?
Hi Adam,
It does have a whisky compass, but it basically right above the pilots head, attached to the top of the windshield frame.
All the best : )
The got gravel carbon Cub is free..
Surely that would be superior to this one anyway ? Haven't watched the whole vid yet..
yeah but its a bit unrealistic that thing, but then it will be if they have modeled it after that monster truck with wings, Mike Patey's "Scrappy"
GotGrravel said he was going to discontinue the Carbon and Obstruction and just focus on the Savage Grravel version moving forward.
That’s a good point! Haven’t actually tried the Gravel mod myself, but I’d imagine it can achieve much the same results (if not better).
Cheers!
@@Vograx is the savage the one with large wheels, rather than ludicrous wheels ?
Good news is, new computer is on the way haha! ; )
Thanks again, all the best! : )
What an uninspired choice for an aircraft, yet another entry into the "overpriced single engine aircraft by miniscule manufacturer" sim.
Haha, it does have a bit of that vibe going on at the moment yes. I am enjoying the Husky, but I agree it is rather lacking in originality. Still, I hear one of Asobos next projects is a JU52! Odd, but certainly not dull.
All the best!
@@IntotheBlueSimulations
That's a great addition! All the best to you as well!
