Thank you very much for all the videos on the channel. It would be great to see a video of the trip from Perth station to Fremantle and back.

Always appreciate watching your videos, it's a shame that Queensland Rail doesn't have any cab rides like these. Only WA, NSW and VIC has, that I know of.

Nice to see that Perth isn't allergic to Swing Nose crossings on their turnouts. Bear in mind these are designed for track speeds in excess of 160km/h or >25TAL lines, we currently have NONE in Sydney.....

So then why would we need them in Sydney for?

Funny how at 9:14 you can see how long the old Shenton Park platform was so why not reinstate and do 6 cars?

Whats the safety systems used in the Transperth network?

The railcars have vigilance systems fitted and also utilise an ATP (Automatic Train Protection) system.

Are they allergic to turning on lights in the tunnels in WA. I’ve watched cab videos from around the world and it seems common in Australia to either have inadequate lighting in tunnels or the driver turning on train lights unlike elsewhere.

No need to have tunnel lights on. Plus they are distracting to drivers as they can cause a strobe effect when passing trough at speed.
