Baby Jack sure learn to smilax beautifully because of you guys who keep smile as a cure to all pain... I truly love how you shower love across Jack... And he brighten my days during my chemotherapy sessions each week.
It’s awful and painful when a child is sick no matter what it is. I’ll never forget the first time my daughter had a fever, my husband and I couldn’t stop crying the whole night.
I’m so sorry for Jack. I hope he’s feeling better now. You are great parents. I love to watch all of the Beeston videos including Loren & Tanner’s. Your family rocks.
Awww I remember when my eardrum ruptured as a toddler I can still remember the pain. Don’t remember much else of being that small. So glad he’s getting meds and will start to feel better😊
You guys are just awesome. No surprise to me that you are recognized when you visit places. (Thanks for taking us to Disney world) Praying for Jack to make a speedy recovery from that ear infection, they can be pretty painful. Much love to you all from Canada.
Oh my gosh, poor little Baby Jack. I can’t even imagine the pain he went through. I’m happy for you guys and your awesome trip. Thank you for taking us with you. Those will be memories of a lifetime.
Hey you guys should ask his pediatrician if jack should avoid getting into water i.e. pools, showers, baths etc, since it can worsen the ear infection. I know someone who's kid had a similar experience (torn ear drum) and they were told to avoid travel (change in altitude) pools, baths and showers since water getting into the ear canal can push the infection further into the ear with a torn ear drum. Best check with his pediatrician as a precautionary measure. Sending prayers jack heals up soon.
Poor little Jack! I’m so glad he’s got an antibiotic in him! Poor little dude….that had to be painful for him and hard to watch for you both! Thank you Jesus that it’s not something worse! 💗💗💗✝️✝️✝️

So glad Jack is on the mend. That is so scary. He is lucky to have great parents like you guys. My feeling is the infection in the ear started growing and the fevers started with that a few days ago until it burst. Poor lil fella. Bless him! Thank God for antibiotics!
Oh no!!! Poor Jack. I am SOOOO happy that he is starting to feel better. There is nothing scarier then your child being sick and/or in pain. Both my boys gave me a scare when they were both quite young. You would give ANYTHING to make them feel better. Lotz of love Jack, and healing prayers. And lotz of love you guys Sarah and Derik. You guys are such great parents and a great couple/team that you will get Jack through this together.
I'm praying for little jack jack! I've had a busted ear drum as an adult and it's some of the worst pain that I've ever had! He must have his mom's tolerance to pain! I was down for days. Love you all so much 🤍🤍🤍
Poor baby Jack! That must have been very painful for him and for you parents. I'm glad he’s feeling better. Love his sweet smiling and happy face! Will pray for all your pain to vanish and you can be our ever smiling happy buddy forever!!🥰😘
From personal experience I can tell you that Jack's eardrum did not burst until the goop started coming out. The airplane ride probably contributed to it because he was not able to depressurize his ears and during the takeoffs and landings. As a veteran chronic ear infections, I have probably had about 100 ruptured eardrums. Unlike most ruptures, my ear will start hurting and will rupture within a few hours. Usually on a weekend or middle of the night. Different ENTs have scolded me over the years for not calling for an appointment when my ear started hurting. They just could not believe that I had no pain days. By the time I would get to a doctor my eardrum would have already ruptured. I had one ENT for 20 years and he finally believed I had these super fast ruptures when the same thing started happening to my younger brother. They didn't put tubes in ears back in the day because when I finally saw a doctor who recommended them , was about 15 years ago. Wowee what a difference that made. I do have a lot of scar tissue on my eardrums and I have had hearing aids for the past 3 years. If you have never had an ear infection to the point of a ruptured eardrum you cannot understand the pain. I've had kidney stones, root canals, broken bones requiring a surgery, and given birth with less pain. The build-up of the pressure behind the eardrum still brings me to tears while those other things did not. I know Jack is over the worst of it, just pay close attention in the future. 💞
Aww sweet little Jack so sorry he got sick on the trip but at least you were going home that day. Ear infections are the worst oh my gosh it must have been painful for him 😥. Glad you all had a good time at Disney World.
Hope Jack gets better soon 🙏🙏 I'm shocked the ER didn't notice he had something up with his ears. Usually if there is any kind of infection starting you can't get on a plane. The altitude will cause your eardrum to rupture.
Agree, at the very least the ER should have explained that he needed to be on decongestants to fly. Any kind of cold or congestion in a child can cause their eardrums to if not rupture at least be very painful when flying.
I agree the er should've noticed or checked his damn ears. But I don't think the altitude will always guaranteed make your eardrums rupture with an ear infection my half siblings had to fly often to visit us growing up and they flew with ear infections and have perfect hearing today 😂 meanwhile I never flew as a kid and got ear infections all the time and one ear can't hear well anymore
@@miss_chrissy When an ear infection is untreated and you have a swollen inner ear plus fluid build up then the pressure change of high altitude will almost always cause an ear drum to rupture. If you have an ear infection that’s under control with antibiotics or not yet in a state of swelling and fluid retention then it might not blow the ear drum. Ear drum ruptures are not that uncommon and do usually heal just fine, they’re just painful. Often if people with mild ear issues must travel they can take a strong decongestant to bring down the fluid retention and keep the ear drum from becoming extremely painful and possibly rupturing. I’m sure callous uncaring people drag their ill children on flights all the time, that doesn’t make it right. Even if your child's ear doesn’t rupture if it’s infected and you fly with them it’s still a painful experience for the child as the pressure change causes the very sore inner ear to expand and contract.
@@LunaZane I'm not saying it doesn't cause an eardrum to rupture please read a comment fully before launching into a rant. I also did not say it was OK to take your kid on a flight with an ear infection. All I was saying was it doesn't always cause it to rupture which is true. @@miss_chrissy wow, you’re way off base. Not a rant and not disagreeing with you. Just clarifying that flying will more than likely cause a problem and why it causes a problem. I am so glad you had a great time in Florida. It’s sad Jack got sick, but it’s good it was at the end not at the beginning or middle of your vacation. When my girls were little I was so scared when they ran fevers too. With my youngest, she had ear infections too. Not fun🥺. Much love from Ohio ❤️
This from a 72 year old Florida girl. I was there the week Disney World opened, so I am a bit prejudiced. However, I did go to Disneyland when I lived in Southern California for a while. The big difference for me was that in Disneyland you can stand in one spot and see everything. Disney World is so spread out that you feel like you’re in magic of its own. Hard to describe, actually. I also ruptured an air drum but did it scuba diving. It was extremely painful. I hope and pray Jack will not have any recurrences. You have such a lovely family, and I enjoy watching your adventures. Keep it up.
I’m so glad that Jack is feeling better!! It is so hard to see your child sick! Whether they’re 2 years old or 26, it just breaks your heart!! I’m so glad you all had such a great time at Disney, I can’t wait to see Jack back there when he’s old enough to go on the rides!!😀❤️ What a AWESOME SURPRISE to see you with MATT and ABBY!!! I LOVE them as much as you guys!!! I’m sure you’ll have a great time together!!! Thank you so much for all you do, give Jack a big hug from me!! Sending my love to ALL of you!!!😊❤️👨👩👦👫👑👗☀️🎟🎪🏰🎡🎢🎠
So sorry to hear about his little ears. I grew up with ear problems and my daughter and granddaughter inherited the same issues. A perforated eardrum hurts super bad and the relief finally comes when it actually burst. Then the pressure is so much better and the road to recovery is quick. Perforated eardrums can happen more then once and when that does happen you have to then be concerned about scarring. There is nothing that you can do to prevent it. It can come on really fast and burst even faster. You did nothing wrong. Glad you guys were able to make him comfortable with the pain relievers. If you have concerns take him to an ENT (Ear Nose and Throat) doctor to check it after it heals up.
When the drum ruptures it feels so much better. The pressure is released so the pain is reduced However keep water out until it’s completely healed. Best wishes. This is coming from a 62 year old that had plagued with ear infections all my life. If he has pain a hot water bottle wrapped in a towel really helps with the pain. Antibiotics as soon as possible to try and stop the rupture. At my age I have a permanent hole in my ear. But I’m not the norm. He may never have another. When he gets snotty noses work to get him over that so it doesn’t go into the middle ear. Where infections start. Good luck and hope he never has another one.
Feel better soon Sweet Jack. Odd that the E.R. missed that he had an ear infection. If you catch an ear infection early, you can treat w/ an ear oil from the health food store that has garlic & medicinal herbs. I've used it for years with great results.
I thought that too, not good at all - especially as they were about to hop on a plane, worst thing to do if you have an ear infection. I always tried to treat naturally or with homeopathy with these things, anti-biotic’s are so hard on little ones tummies - wiping out the gut biome
I’m so glad Jack is okay!! It’s extremely hot at Disney, make sure he stays hydrated, he eats, and sleeps enough, I got sick at Disney like Jack and I just made myself eat and drink and slept a lot and I was better in a few days. Sending prayers !!
Aww bless Jack, I had my fourth birthday in hospital with a burst ear drum, since then it's burst 3 more times as an adult, an I can tell you it's so painful an the lead up to the burst can last hrs or days 😭 the last one I had, was the worst with blood coming out 😱 it's also effected my hearing from that ear, I'm so cautious now, an being on a plane can kick it off on rare occasions.
Thank-you again for sharing we know Jack is better and all of you. Ear ache is not easy for a little one, been there know what it is. Glad you are well enjoyed your trip and back in Utah.🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏❤❤❤❤🥰🥰🥰🥰
I'm glad you got to experience Disney world. I went one time only because my sister and brother in law took me and my two youngest children and paid for everything including flights. She's the best. I'm almost 65 now and probably will not go again unfortunately.
What a wonderful vacation and so many first memories. So glad Jack is on the mend. It can be scary when they run a high fever. Mine used end up with ear infections every time she cut a tooth.
Just a random reminder for yall to make sure to back up all your photos and stuff!! I saw the intro of Sarah on the skis at the lake and it brought back the phone memories 😭
Poor little sweet baby Jack. My babies had chronic ear infections til they were about 2.5 years old and finally grew out of them. As a parent, I understand the anxiety of having a little sick one.
I raised 4 and I never liked fever…..scary for parents, glad all came out well - love your videos, kids, family and friends - thank you for opening up your wholesome lives for us. 🙏🏼🥰
Jacks an angel. I burst my ear drum as a kid and I screamed and cried like crazy. I think I was 3. And it hurt like heck. I still remember the intense ear ache. I'm so glad he wasn't seemingly in pain. What a good boy to do Disney for two days on a fever, and not fuss. Jack I love your new shoes buddy.
Good to hear that Jack is fine.I can understand how it feels when the child gets sick.Jack will be fine ,don't worry BUDDY'S Mummy n Daddy.n so happy to see Matt n Abby . lovely surprise.💜💜
Im so happy jack is feeling better. Coming from someone that likes to go a more natural way. Tea tree oil does wonders for infections. Just rub a little behind his ears (or where ever the infection is)
That is actually really dangerous info to spread since ear infections are caused by bacteria, which can only be killed by the proper antibiotics, not by oils. Ear infections are especially dangerous for young children and the faster they are treated properly the better, otherwise they could spread through the timpanic membrane to the inner ear and cause permanent damage.
Awe Poor Buddy!! i love you guys so much.. i am happy that it wasnt covid or the flu.. I am just now starting to frel a lot better as I caught the covid.. It was literally the worst ever!! I pray for a happy baby Jack and hope he is well on the mend from his ear infection.. It always made me feel so helpless when ny kids ran fevers and got ear infections.. He is the sweetest little thing tho.. Happy Safe Travles home when the time comes cant wait to see you guys again!! Much love from my family to yours!!!!❤😘🌴
When my 16 month daughter got covid I was so worried. Her fever was so high and she didn't eat any food for 2 weeks just milk. It was a terrifying experience, I wasn't able to sleep so I checked on her twice an hour every night. Didn't help that she also had an ear infection! These things can be so so scary for new parents cause you just don't know what to do.
Poooor Baby!!! I feel for him soooo much. I had ear infections since the time I was 1 1/2 til I was about 21. The last one I had I was deaf in my right ear for three weeks. Love coming to you. ❤️❤️❤️❤️
Aww poor baby, good to hear that he is doing better. Twenty years ago same thing happened to my then 1yr old & we were at Disneyland (stayed at the Grand Cali Hotel). We were told by the hotel concierge that there was a service that would send a PA to our hotel (it was a bit pricey but worth it) the PA came to hotel & diagnosed ear infection & ordered antibiotics which were delivered right to the hotel. Glad y’all had a wonderful time with family.
It's Matt and Abby plus Derik's twin and his family! I love all of you beautiful people!! 😍 Thank you for sharing your lives with us! God bless you all!!!
Poor guy! I had a ruptured eardrum before. Not fun. I ruptured it when I did cannonball into a pool and on my flight back home, when we started descending, I was in TEARS! The pressure hurt so bad. The flight attendant brought me a cup of hot water so that the steam could help my ear. It was the best remedy! I hope Jack’s ear gets better quickly♥️
I'm a west coaster as well!! Grew up going to Disneyland!! I've lived in Alabama many, many years, and have been to Disney World twice. Loved it!! Seeing it through my kids eyes was amazing!! They are 23 and 21 now!!
I’m sure he has slept better now that his ear drum has burst. Relieves the pressure. Ear infections are so painful. My ear drums burst several times as a child. What a relief.
I have freq. ear infections again as an adult. When I fly ( quite often) the worst is flying in Portland, Oregon if the plane comes directly from the east and down the Columbia Gorge. Altitude drops quickly! Pressurized cabin and all that. So, the plane coming into Salt Lake, down from that Wasatch Range most likely was a factor. Glad he's on the mend. Wise parents, you did the right thing. It is better safe than sorry. Those little ears --burst eardrum! My son who had one at 4 years old still talks about how painful it was. Saw your short-Jack's on his way being a good dancer.
That is so awesome! I can’t wait to take my son to Disney world. My grandparents used to live near Orlando. Every summer, and sometimes during Christmas, we would visit them and during our visit we would go to Disney. I’ve been to Disney world 17 times lol. Disney World during Christmas is THE BEST! I highly recommend going during the Christmas season. It’s beautiful. 💜 Jack is so lucky. I also grew up playing video games lol. My mom plays games so we always had a Nintendo64, Super Nintendo, eventually a PlayStation, game cube, all the things haha. Aww poor buddy! Glad he’s doing ok though. It is very scary. Especially at that age where they can’t communicate to you what’s wrong. Definitely a good call to take him in because you just never know.
Congrats to Jack, that he started to feel a bit better. Derik & Sarah, u are always great parents to ur son. Derik, ur so funny to watch when u play w/Jack!
So happy that Jack is ok. That is so scary when your child gets sick like that.

Keep it up.
Thank God he's feeling better. Such good, loving parents. Jack is so cute
Precious little Jack! You guys are such an amazing example for young people today….thank you! ❤️🐻❤️
Good seeing you once again and so glad you all had a great time. So sorry little man not feeling well 😞 best of luck ...take care...
The pressure is released so the pain is reduced
However keep water out until it’s completely healed.
1million subs!!!! Yay!! Congratulations!! BTW it's never fun when your little one is sick. I hope Jack is all better! My prayers are with you guys!
I hope jack starts feeling better. All my favorite TH-camrs together 💟
Poor Jack, so glad he is on the road to recovery now. Such as sweet baby. Glad you guys had fun in Florida and love it.
Poor little fella. So glad Jack is feeling a little better. Prayers for fast healing.
You guys are the best family!! So glad to hear Jack is feeling better.
Thank-you again for sharing we know Jack is better and all of you. Ear ache is not easy for a little one, been there know what it is. Glad you are well enjoyed your trip and back in Utah.🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏❤❤❤❤🥰🥰🥰🥰
Just wanted to thank y’all for being so kind and talking to me when I met all 3 of y’all at Animal Kingdom. Glad Jacks ok and had fun at Disney. 😁
I'm glad you got to experience Disney world. I went one time only because my sister and brother in law took me and my two youngest children and paid for everything including flights. She's the best. I'm almost 65 now and probably will not go again unfortunately.
Poor little guy! 🥺 I’m thankful he’s getting better! Praying for him!
What a wonderful vacation and so many first memories. So glad Jack is on the mend. It can be scary when they run a high fever. Mine used end up with ear infections every time she cut a tooth.
Dad’s beautiful smile is totally a virtual advertisement for his dentist🤩
Just a random reminder for yall to make sure to back up all your photos and stuff!! I saw the intro of Sarah on the skis at the lake and it brought back the phone memories 😭
Praying for Jack, that he feels better soon and that you all can get some rest!
I love watching you guys. The love you all share is so refreshing.
Glad you had fun and Jack is doing well. Love your smiles!
Awe poor Jack, what a beautiful baby boy you have, feel better Jack💙
I’m so glad Jack is doing better! Love your cute family!!
Hope Jack gets well soon, lots of love to you all ❤
Jacks an angel.
So glad he’s doing so much better. Prayers for quick and full recovery for Jack. ❤️💯🙏🏻✨🥰
Good to hear that Jack is fine.I can understand how it feels when the child gets sick.Jack will be fine ,don't worry BUDDY'S Mummy n Daddy.n so happy to see Matt n Abby . lovely surprise.💜💜
Ohhh, Baby, Sending Our Lov, Prayers and Hugz🙏💜😇
You guys are the best parents , God bless the Beeston family & Jack ♥️ is
Speak blessings over him like your dad did when you had your accident! I'm so happy y'all are well! Poor little Buddy💕💛💚
Poor baby. Hugs and a little prayer for little buddy 💕💕
Poor little dude but such is life!! So happy he is doing better!! Cheers to you all!
He had a fever for 2.5 days and was going to Disney!?!? Dang. My only pet peeve with parents is bringing a sick kid around other people.
So glad ur little baby feeling better . Yes it's so hard when our kiddies get sick we want to make them better. U all awesome
Poor little guy, so happy to hear he is doing better. Best wishes to your family all the way from Australia :)
Poor sweet Jack! Love and life to your beautiful family!!!
I could tell it was Matt even with the blur in the beginning 😂. Matt and Abby and the Beeston family all in one video is such a treat!
Jack's little outfit is so adorable with this cute shoes too.
soooo happy we got to meet you!! glad jack is okay & hope he is feeling better 💜
Awwww poor Jack wishing him a speedy recovery x
