OU is idiotic for obeying Texas like a whipped dog and following them to the SEC. They could’ve stayed BiG XII, revived rivalry with Colorado, kept it with Cowboys, even a growing K-State rivalry, could’ve kept playing Red River “Shoot Out”, and had better shot at getting in the playoff year after year. They may scantly see the playoffs now. And I think it’s hilarious.

Relax. OU owned Texas in the big XII. We don't look good but have a new coach and qb. We'll be fine. If we had joined a few years ago, you would've said the same about Texas. OU has won 6 of the last 10 big XII champs (all in a row). Texas just only won it once last year. But ya, we followed them😂. Honestly a pretty horrible take. Lol
But remember, ou thought that they would have Lincoln Riley and Caleb Williams leading charge there when they made the call to move. It’s easy to say that they made a mistake in retrospective, but Riley bailed out huge on them.
Texas OU need each other regardless of prior successes and failures. They both started Big 12 they both left together.

Texas gave LSU the hardest game they had that whole year. That Texas team was better than most know...the injuries from that game *cost* them. A few didnt keep folks off the field but they were nowhere near the same.

Sam was the only qb that year that was able to go shot for shot with Burrow.
Even in its bad years Texas played well against SEC teams, as Georgia found out in the Sugar Bowl. Imagine what Sam would have done with this team and more importantly, having been developed by Sark.

I think that’s why Lincoln Riley left. He knew OU didn’t have the players to win in the SEC and to recruit them would be difficult when going against Bama, Georgia, Texas etc
That's not true though... His offenses were plenty good enough to compete against the SEC, I mean that was proven. Now it's the opposite, OUs defense is plenty good enough to compete in the SEC.
