I'm just trying to figure out what kind of sorcery allows someone to be blessed with all the above full eyebrows, long lashes, thick hair, and clear skin.
So I have been doing this mask everyday for a week and it truly has made a HUGE difference! I had lots of acne and tiny pimples on my chin, forehead, and cheeks and now they are basically completely gone! My skin tone also evened out and my skin is so much smoother and brighter!!
Actually tumeric doesn't help for fading scars, its for reducing and destroying pimples for sure and skin brightening and long term diminishing scarring perhaps. The real Indian remedy is using crushed green gram, oats and milk in a mix and that will help majorly for blemishes. I have been using it for years and it helps. Yes tumeric and yogurt is amazing for the face! You have to always keep the skin moisturized and also drink lots of water.
MsWisdom38 no problem and yes it takes time for the results to peep in. Within a few days you will definitely your skin feel cleaning and free. Good luck :). I've been doing it consistently since I was 15 and now I'm 30 so I can say these things do work haha. Especially the Indian masks we make. Sandalwood paste is good too but that stuff is friggin expensive. Using the aloe vera or rose water too helps (use that as a natural toner in the night). :)
Actually turmeric with lemon IS used to lighten the skin. This is exactly what it means to brighten the skin. Doing it this way is quite healthy though. Over time it improves the overall health of the skin.
LadyASolveg lemon isn't needed for tumeric and yogurt. It's basically an anti-bacterial mask that yes over time helps the skin and brightens. Never said it doesn't. For scars it can help but you have to use it for years for scars to go. The other methods I mentioned help for faster response as they target the blemish directly. I know what I'm talking also as I am a doctor too. Using lemon plus tumeric is not needed that will ruin the pH of one's skin and also produce damage and more photosensitivity which darker complexions won't want as you will burn easily. And for those first trying it will like too much burning on the skin. Lemon though can be used on the scalp with coconut oil for dandruff that's a good use! :)
My mom says the same to me. Some of us naturally have eyebrows "on fleek", I get mine from my dad's side of the family. My mom has eyebrows like Whoopi Goldberg, they're barely there. 😂😂😂😂
I am South Asian and ever since I started to get acne as a teenager, my mum made me use this and I am now 23 and I use this once every week and I always get compliments on my skin. I alternate between tumeric with water or lemon juice depending on if I have scars.
2 years ago I had a terrible chemical burn and my face looked like a frying pan , and I was left with PIH (I couldn’t even use moisturizer ) the only thing I used on my skin was turmeric and yogurt mixed together and applied it on my face for 30 minutes. It really made a big difference, it soothed my skin and the redness was gone in 3 days . Turmeric can BRIGHTEN the skin , but it needs time , don’t expect to see results after a week or two ! And don’t use lemon juice on your skin please. Mix Turmeric and water , or Turmeric and honey , or Turmeric and yogurt (if it doesn’t break you out ) . Always use the mask before you shower .

I tried this and did it daily for 2 weeks, a scar at the end of my eye brow lightened, and brow is growing there again. Thank you for such a detailed video. Your outcome was pretty great and inspiring. I still do it almost daily without the yogurt and honey, just lemon or water because the after glow is so pretty. Also, it seems to be detoxing even the oldest scars - these are scars that I thought were my freckles, now they are almost gone.
Everyday I saw improvement in your skin! Fading blemishes and deffinently brighter skin tone. By day 5 I was very impressed, your skin looked much better!
For those of you who didn't aldready browse through the comments: This is a great mask, with lovely ingredients that does wonders for you skin. However: turmeric is an extremely staining spice (often used for naturally coloring fabrics). I often use turmeric in my DIY skin treatments, regardless if your skin is fair or dark, the maximum time it should stay on your skin is 5-10 min. After that it will leave your skin completely orange. I do not recommend rubbing the stain off with other products, as it will irritate your skin instead of care for it. Softly massage it with with a light (skin friendly) soap and rinse off with luke warm water. The stains on your skin is NOT permanent and will fade completely after a few washes, HOWEVER, and this is important, it WILL stain your furniture, your clothing and your white porcelain. So be sure to clean your white shower/sink with hot water as soon as you're done :)
ladybug yes thank you for the warning I learned the hard way it stained a lot of things and I thought I had wiped and cleaned it off well . I have gotten great results though. Thanks

you do this mask as night, and then do you regular skin care routine. it’s okay if your skin is a little yellow. hltheb you follow up with your morning routine when you wake up, and the yellow should be gone.
From day 1 to day 5 I really noticed the brighting effect it had on your skin saw it on the fist day and your skin to me just looked fresher & fresher, I think it worked really well.
Well done on showcasing progress; side by side comparisons are organized and well edited! I can see actual effectivity without havng to flip back and forth myself. You're beautiful in your natural look - so celebrate what ya got!
I started seeing results after 1 day. But not right away. I did it one day and planned to do it the next but forgot and when I went to do it the following day I noticed my skin was a lot more clear. Amazing!!
Rice mask mixed with turmeric is best dear and plus u can use the rest the next morning as a facial scrub. Also try finding SAFI at your local Indian store or online. Safi purifies your blood and gets rid of pimples for good. Best of luck
Chervonne Williams hi, just buy some rice flour at your local Indian store or grocery store then mix some with water/lemon juice some honey then apply and you can be creative with this by adding some turmeric to it for added benefit for your skin. You can also use the rice flour as facial scrub by missing with water or lemon juice (vitamin C). Hope this helps
Your skin has definitely become a lot brighter and smoother and the blemishes have definitely gone down. You do have a look of Whitney Houston by the way. Really beautiful young lady. Thank you for sharing this video. Very helpful and will be sharing this with my 2 daughters. Hugs
Can we talk about facial sunblock? Most people I know say they dont use it on their face because they don't burn. 🙄 It helps in the prevention of scarring and hyperpigmentation.
Omg you kinda look like Jackie !! Like you could be her younger sister or something lol. Your skin is beautiful. I’m going to try this mask and see what happens
First of all I love you. Been following since 2013. You helped me grow my hair to 16 inches. Secondly I am doing this today for the next 5 days. God bless you 🙏🏾
@@berjustemichelle6270 she has older videos on hair. I used Mineralrich. I'm actually still using it and it really helps. But for kids I recommended Aloe Vera as a pre-poo and castor oil daily scalp massages
The more I see videos like this, the more I am convinced that big companies want to exploit us into taking our money, making us believe that we need a lot of expensive ineffective products to look good when most of what we need is homemade cosmetics. I have tried yogurt for a mask before, but I will try out this recipe. The older I get, the simpler my life is getting. Thank you for the inspiration.
Thank you for showing results for 5 days. I notice it fades slowly over the days but it is a much faster result then products you buy from the store that claim it works.
I'm going to post the results of this mask every day. Day 1: There's no real change, but I feel like my face is softer. Day 2: My skin is soft. And I can see some change on my darks spots.I had a few little pimples and they're starting to fade.
Yes you will definitely see results after 5 days I have been doing the turmeric mask for 1 year now I do it 3 times a week and you definitely will see the results
use fresh lemon juice. Put it on your skin and let it dry. Then rinse cold water and moisture with coconut oil. Lemon juice will eliminate acne and clear your skin.
I’d say just put a bit of lemon juice on your actual pimples rather than all over. It could dry your skin out and it’s incredibly acidic, so I believe it would be better as a problem spot treatment.
I love the good results your getting. I have tried the tumeric and baking soda just for 2 days and getting results. I would love to try this after my 5th day. Your face looks good gurl 😍😍
If you get yellow colour after rinsing your face, you should try washing more thoroughly. I am from India, and I suffer from acne. I do this every two weeks or so.
Hi Keisha, I watched your video and I wanted to help you with your ingredients. Basically, I would not use the yoghurt for this mask, it contains dairy hormones and may reverse the effect of the turmeric. For fading dark spots I would definitely not use an almond oil but a tamanu oil! So here is how I do my turmeric mask: 1. As a base I use clay (the indian healing clay) 2. I put two drops of apple cider vinegar in the clay and dilute it with 1/2 tsp of mineral water (don't use tap water) 3. I put a bit of aloe vera gel in it (the clay and apple cider are drying so you want to balance this out), I put in about two drops of aloe, 4. then a bit of Manuka Honey, now add some oil to this mask - this will give you the best results, I use 5 drops of Tamanu Oil, then 3 drops of Rosehip and 3 drops of Avocado Oil. And of course 1/4 tsp turmeric powder! :) Your skin will love it! Let me know if you try it. Best xx
Paloma Film wow thank you so much! I love these tips, I appreciate the recommendations. I will definitely give them a try and update this mask. Thank you for watching and your feedback love. Xo
@@keishanista No worries, I love experimenting with face mask ingredients, of course all natural & organic too. I have to say the tamanu oil did wonders for my acne-prone skin. I spot treat it upcoming spots with this oil and they never fully develop but diminish over night. So grateful for this. Just make sure to buy a high quality oil. :) Glad you liked this recommendation xx
i used 2 tbs of turmeric & milk until i got to the texture i wanted, the 2nd day my acne was better and it looked like a little of my skin brightened. i scrubbed mask off with hands while it was still dry, rinsed with cold water & then used my regular skin care routine with cold water as well
I have dark areas around my mouth, something im super insecure about but I decided to try a tumeric mask, I mixed it only with water and omg I saw a difference on the first try. Im currently on my second day and im happy to see a change
I love watching this video and can't wait to try it! Make sure that when you mix things together or even adding and ingredients to not use metal utensils. It is said that it can contaminate your products.
Today I've realized I should do my face treatments AFTER the shower! Pores will be open and face clean..weve been told to exfoliate which is good too but applying it after shower might be a better trick. Hope that'll help you guys as well.
I have battled acne for 6 yrs tried every possible soln to clear from herbs to everything else nothing worked.so last week i watched this video and deep down i told myself it's prob going to be like the rest that you have tried but then my gut told me to still do it.as am talking am 6days in this is the best my skin has looked i still can't believe this
🤗 Started seeing massive results by day 3! I used 2 tablespoons tumeric 2 water and mixed until semi thick paste. Left on for 30 minutes or until dry.. then removed with Luke warm water. VERY LIGHTLY exfoliate afterwards then moisturizer Rae Shea butter (cocnut oil clogs my pores) THIS WORKS WONDERS!! JUST MOISTURIZE WITH NATURAL PRODUCT AFTER! 😊💜💙
You can use turmeric with gram flour(besan) and rose water if you wanna exfoliate. If it's just a regular face mask, you can mix yogurt, turmeric and honey! Honey and cinnamon mask, fuller's earth with rose water mask help in controlling breakouts too! These are age old Indian remedies,I hope it works for you guys :)
Anyone white , or light skinned like very light face complexion , make sure u only use a pinch literally a pinch of tumeric powder Or it can dye ur skin and u can be orange
This mask works great, I tried it. Left my skin glowinggg after first use, only problem is the tumeric stuff gets EVERYWHERE!! All over the shower floor and all over the rest of my body and is hard to clean up
Thank you for sharing the turmeric face treatment! Your face definitely looks much clearer and brighter. You are a stunning young lady - more like a model! I did try the turmeric with honey and lemon and also added yoghurt and it worked beautifully - my skin was definitely clearer, more smooth and soft. But I am going to recommend your treatment to a close friend and this video as well. Thank you so much!
@@user-ed8me9fi2l me too! I have an apple cider and aloe based toner and it helped remove the staining. The trade off is you will be rubbing your skin almost raw to fully remove 😭😭😭I'm sure great but the staining is too much
It may be the acrylic nails. I'm a former nail technician and I noticed more breakouts and facial skin irritation when I used acrylic products for long amounts of times. Not only are the chemicals irritants, long nails hold a lot of bacteria, even with hand washing.
Surprised I'm this early... I tried turmeric with just a little water or ACV before and applied it as a mask but I hated the left over tint..I would try to remove the excess with green alcohol or witch hazel...but ur idea with the oil cleansing and face wash after looks much more effective and less harsh... I'm going to try your turmeric combo and see how it works 🤗
Oh ok yea I'm going to try it that way, I didn't realize it was tinting my skin until I saw it had transferred on my pillow.😒 But thanks for the tip, because I did feel like the masks were helping
I noticed brighter skin, more so like a healthy glow, after doing it for like 3 days, but I haven't tried it out lately. Im going to try doing it for a full week to see if it works on some of my dark marks.
It’s crazy how we spend so much money on skin care just for it to not work yet we have the literal ingriedients in our kitchen for FREE and it actually works . IT ACTUALLY WORKS . How many times have you watched a skin care video of some expensive product and it took months to work or they just didn’t even post a thorough before and after .
Ladies, be careful what you wash your bed lien with. I was breaking out alone the jawline and I change my wash detergent to milder washer. Your sheets, pillowcases and bed spreads touch your skin in those area that you are breaking out in. Just a word from the wise...
@@nicolelarmond5322 tried it for a couple of days, made my skin really soft and a lil glowy, didn't use it long enough to get any long term effects tho
I think the yellow tint that it leaves behind give the illusion of lightening up darker pigments. Tumeric has health benefits but I am concerned about the way it stains the face. For some people the staining is a natural way to enhance their color..for some other..not so much...
First of all You are beautiful and have such a nice voice. I have been using the turmeric mask from past 10 years and I never had pimples(some occasional bumps nothing serious). I mix turmeric with fresh yogurt and gram flour (not advisable for dry/ combination skin).
Sometimes when using turmeric you nails might get stained when washing it off ur face, it will take a few days to go away, just remember to use rubber gloves so you don’t stain ur nails or damage your face.
Tried this mask in the past and it didn't work for me, mainly because I got annoyed with the staining and dropped the routine after about 2 weeks, but I've recently gotten over a massive breakout around my belly button area (such a weird spot!!) That left a lot of ugly pigmentation behind. My tummy is too cute to not wear crop tops because of some dark spots!! I'm gonna try using this mask again on that area and see if it yields any results. Since it's a smaller portion of skin that's also easier to hide, i should be able to keep it up for much longer. I'll come back and post results after every week.
I am going to try this without the yogurt or cow milk. In the USA cow milk has so many chemicals in it because they feed it to the cow and it gets in the milk. Also milk causes acne so I wouldn't put it on my face.
Hey girl, your skin looks great. So if you decide to use turmeric again a little trick I learned was adding a tsp of ground oats. It has a nat softening effect but it helps it dry faster & stop the running.
Now this video is on details... Let's see if it will work for me after a month I'll leave my feedbacks here after a month Anyways I have fair skin, acne prone skin combination of sensitive skin and dry skin... 😊💪

Amazing!!
Hi... nice to meet you...Aviance
Rice mask mixed with turmeric is best dear and plus u can use the rest the next morning as a facial scrub. Also try finding SAFI at your local Indian store or online. Safi purifies your blood and gets rid of pimples for good. Best of luck
AFRICANBABYADA how do you make a rice mask?
Chervonne Williams hi, just buy some rice flour at your local Indian store or grocery store then mix some with water/lemon juice some honey then apply and you can be creative with this by adding some turmeric to it for added benefit for your skin. You can also use the rice flour as facial scrub by missing with water or lemon juice (vitamin C). Hope this helps
Its also known as Gram flour.
Hi,
Just wondering why the method you suggest works better vs just tumeric alone?
Her skin looked sooo bright after the 5 days definitely gonna try this out
U can make face look perfect on camera 😅 no matter how you look.
Your skin has definitely become a lot brighter and smoother and the blemishes have definitely gone down. You do have a look of Whitney Houston by the way. Really beautiful young lady. Thank you for sharing this video. Very helpful and will be sharing this with my 2 daughters. Hugs
For all my babies on a budget.. using only turmeric powder and milk does the same. The Lemon and honey only enhance it and helps w smoother skin 😘
Omg I thought I was the only one
Jackie who?

First of all I love you. Been following since 2013. You helped me grow my hair to 16 inches. Secondly I am doing this today for the next 5 days. God bless you 🙏🏾

🤣🤣🤣 I was wondering the same thing
It's day5 for me but my dark spot doesn't fade I use turmeric milk lemon honey and flour
kx jen y flour 🤔what’s the science behind that ? To make it thicker?
Day 3 ...
sama Sab i use lemon ,
baking soda & the tumeric powder i hope it helps
kx jen why are you using flour? I’m so confused 🤷🏽♀️
Her skin definitely became lighter/brighter! Need to try this😫💕
She's so beautiful, if I had her face I wouldnt bother masking every day
Let me tell you , your skin care videos have saved my skin. I’m so thankful ‼️❤️
why do girls with good skin always do skin videos we want messed up skin peops hahaa
Ok then go ahead and do it hun

U are right
You're absolutely gorgeous and your skin looks amazing! What a natural beauty you are!! Thanks for sharing.
I use equal parts of Witch Hazel, water, and Olive oil as a day/night moisturizer. Now I will try this Turmeric mask
Your skin color is just SOO GORGEOUS SIS! Undertones and everything is just popin'!
Yes you will definitely see results after 5 days I have been doing the turmeric mask for 1 year now I do it 3 times a week and you definitely will see the results
How many times in a week do u use the face mask
@@mekabarrera7729 she said 3 times a week
I know my acne and scars have improved so much.
Can I use this on sentive skin too
@@latonyacobb9837 yeah but with a smaller amount of lemon juice and have milk ready incase it burns.
Absolutely gorgeous, without a stitch of makeup on!...goals!😍
I used tumeric and it cleared up my skin so much that people think that I wear foundation but I don't!
How long did you use it?
About a month

Three times a month if you over do it your skin, your skin will become yellow.

Am a living testimony for this turmeric mask.I had the worst skin but now am glowing thanx
use fresh lemon juice. Put it on your skin and let it dry. Then rinse cold water and moisture with coconut oil. Lemon juice will eliminate acne and clear your skin.
Do we do it everyday?
@@SoSo-mw9lc no every other day
@@SoSo-mw9lc Lemon juice will wreck your face. It is too acidic and an absolute no.
Alysses preach it’s also very drying ... I have dry skin and did it back in hs and it was a horrible combination
I’d say just put a bit of lemon juice on your actual pimples rather than all over. It could dry your skin out and it’s incredibly acidic, so I believe it would be better as a problem spot treatment.
I don't even know how this end up on my timeline but hands down you are GORGEOUS BLACK QUEEN! Gee Whiz man...
Can you please put a link for all the products you have said here please?
What tumeric powder, do you use any?
@palmofilm5901 do you refrigerate your ingredients after making the mask?
Your natural efforts pays off 👑 your skin looks great!
Turmeric works wonder. I had a bad breakout since I was 12-13 and my mom told me to use turmeric and this thing does wonder to my skin.
i used 2 tbs of turmeric & milk until i got to the texture i wanted, the 2nd day my acne was better and it looked like a little of my skin brightened. i scrubbed mask off with hands while it was still dry, rinsed with cold water & then used my regular skin care routine with cold water as well
After you took your mask off was your skin yellow?

Amazed that the turmeric isn't staining your skin, nails, and counter top
Hi nice to meet you...Ambeau
Today I've realized I should do my face treatments AFTER the shower! Pores will be open and face clean..weve been told to exfoliate which is good too but applying it after shower might be a better trick. Hope that'll help you guys as well.
I don’t usually comment anywhere but I gotta say - from one black woman to another- you have beautiful eyes. Thanks for the video.
Dyed Bliss Did you just use turmeric and water or some other stuff?
Thank u
You can use turmeric with gram flour(besan) and rose water if you wanna exfoliate. If it's just a regular face mask, you can mix yogurt, turmeric and honey!
Honey and cinnamon mask, fuller's earth with rose water mask help in controlling breakouts too! These are age old Indian remedies,I hope it works for you guys :)
Anyone white , or light skinned like very light face complexion , make sure u only use a pinch literally a pinch of tumeric powder
Or it can dye ur skin and u can be orange
My fave legit looked brighter and even toned besides the dark spots still being there. Arms this is my first time trying it!

Once you apply that past and when u r washing face u have to rub that black spot little hardly so that blamesh skin will peel off. I hv done this.
I love the fact that u showed ur real face and not somebody else's💯
FOR THOSE WITH LIGHTER SKIN this will stain your face if you use too much turmeric or leave it on too long
Victoria Suddath I wish I saw this comment earlier my pale ass face is now orange 😭😭😭😭

@@user-ed8me9fi2l me too! I have an apple cider and aloe based toner and it helped remove the staining. The trade off is you will be rubbing your skin almost raw to fully remove 😭😭😭I'm sure great but the staining is too much

I heard that if you use milk on a cotton pad right afterwards it removes the stain.

Do you wash your face before you start
You're so beautiful omg. Woah ur eyes are just gorgeous😍
You’re so beautiful queen. IONO what people carrying on in the comments about, I’m glad for this video. Thanks for your effort
Always Natural Hair I‘ve been using this mask for 3 days now and yesterday I washed my face w/ soap afterwards and the tint was pretty much gone
Oh ok yea I'm going to try it that way, I didn't realize it was tinting my skin until I saw it had transferred on my pillow.😒 But thanks for the tip, because I did feel like the masks were helping
Always Natural Hair yeah try it out, lol my blanket was ridiculously yellow on the first day, I had to try a different method 😩😩
Does it work?
I noticed brighter skin, more so like a healthy glow, after doing it for like 3 days, but I haven't tried it out lately. Im going to try doing it for a full week to see if it works on some of my dark marks.
You are absolutely beautiful your brows and lashes are amazing and your skin it lovely, TFS!
Coconut oil to wash orange off :) turmeric works well
This is a tried and true formula. People in India, Asia and the Caribbean use these formulas 💕🇨🇦
Lavan thank you! That explains my face lol

@@nicolelarmond5322 tried it for a couple of days, made my skin really soft and a lil glowy, didn't use it long enough to get any long term effects tho
Lmao🤣🤣🤣🤣
Welp, off to the supermarket.. 🏃🏾♂️💨
😆👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽

Wow!!! Great results!! Definitely going to try this!!! Thanks for sharing
Hi ... nice to meet you...juliana
What were your results
I love this remidy it works excellent in first use
Atleast she is not a youtuber who tells lie to their viewers and make the skin of viewers damage .
girl your eyes are so beautiful
I am going to try this without the yogurt or cow milk. In the USA cow milk has so many chemicals in it because they feed it to the cow and it gets in the milk.
Also milk causes acne so I wouldn't put it on my face.
just acne if u drink it! Try putting milk on ur face for once tho! See the difference!! You’ll immediately feel like baby skin
Hey girl, your skin looks great. So if you decide to use turmeric again a little trick I learned was adding a tsp of ground oats. It has a nat softening effect but it helps it dry faster & stop the running.
I just started turmeric masks for my eczema. In Ayurveda they use besan/gram flour (chickpea) as a whitening agent in this recipe. 💜
Wow....YOUR BEAUTY IS MESMERISING
Now this video is on details... Let's see if it will work for me after a month I'll leave my feedbacks here after a month
