You guys are doing an awesome job. I just wanted to tell you that um this is amazing! Our soliders and veterans sacrificed their bodies, MINDS, families, freetime, and so much more so that all of us are able to enjoy the freedoms our Great Country provides us. Our wounded should be getting the top of the line in prosthetics, biotics, medical treatment, medications, and mental health treatment available. We all owe them that. My grandfather Jack B. told me war stories because he was the true Captain America. Even at 80+ years old he informed me that the mental trauma our soldiers endure from war, because war is Hell, still at times affected him and so he used his artistic skills and began painting on canvas. Grandpa Jack said painting is great therapy for PTSD and other mental health issues that is caused by killing and trying not to be killed.
+caballeroPL A lot of technology we use today has come from military war-time applications such as Ultrasound which emerged from the British Navy to be used as a tool to locate German U-boats in WWI, pressurized cabins, radio navigation, the jet engine, nuclear power etc. A lot of technology that is originally developed for military requirements eventually makes it way into non-military applications.
Lenin Vladimir Internet was a DARPA project to create a communications network that could still work after multiple nuclear strikes. So it was arguably created by the cold war.
Because this is a very small niche and it will never pay off, which is why investors are in no hurry to invest. If about money. Good evening to all the team that contributed to the completion of this work. My son has a case of amputation of his right hand and left foot. Please help him to start this life. He is 12 years old, and he is my eldest son who lost his hand and leg from the remnants of the war in Syria.

Matthew 11:5 KJV The blind receive their sight, and the lame walk, the lepers are cleansed, and the deaf hear, the dead are raised up, and the poor have the gospel preached to them.

hi am from Kenya have my family had an accident but he paralysis legs spainal injured so he now used wheelchair could he be treated with bionic legs we would like if u help us so we could arranged to travel reply plz
And my brain is also sending signals to my right hand that was amputated from the resr due to a bomb axcident i had in 1998 that my hand is still there but wish i can have to opprtunity to have a bionic hand
It is better to lose a leg than to lose an arm, because your hands are too precious. The opposable thumb is the reason modern humans exist. You can’t do paperwork without them
I think soon enough yes But it still has to allow cooling to ve effecient But a light carbon or plastic mech cover should make it look better and not be too heavy to wear
These legs cost about 350k with everything counted in The leg the bone attachment, the surgery the planning It's a lot but there are cheaper alternatives
Soldiers get hate yet they thought they were fighting to defend America yet i believe they were fighting to ease very rich Jews paranoia about Saddam Hussein.

Wow, imagine if humanity spent their resources on things like this instead of constantly dumping money into killing one another.
The government is investing $8 million? That's not enough. They should be investing $8 billion!!
+masscashstacks 800 billions at least!!!
I wish you lost both legs then I'll watch on your clever sentensions about NASA and USA government.
Idk i feel like 10 million would be good tho
It's a bit low
50 to 60 mil should do for a year@@kudojay1840
Where do you think that money come from? 🙄
Makes you think what we could achieve if we hadn't put so much effort into fighting each other but instead focusing on research.

+caballeroPL Then there would be far less people with disabilities. So what would be the incenstive to invest in this?
Lenin Vladimir I meant research in general not prosthetics and disabilities.
***** Uh huh. You do know that without the cold war we wouldn't have had internet right now, right?
Lenin Vladimir Internet was a DARPA project to create a communications network that could still work after multiple nuclear strikes.

My son is a 25 year old double leg amputee. These are what I’m working 3 jobs to save up for.
@@GenZMother I’m sorry to hear that. I think it’s hard for enterprises especially startups to enter this market since FDA is in the way.

How can my wife volunteer for this? She had her leg amputated, above the knee, last year. This would bring her so much mobility and independence.
