The Hulk is a fictional superhero character in the comics published by Marvel Comics. The character was first created by Stan Lee and Jack Kirby in The Incredible Hulk (May 1962). He is a giant, green, humanoid mutant monster who has great strength and cannot control his rage. Hulk is sometimes super aggressive and wild and sometimes logical and controllable. He is mostly seen as the opposite of the hero. Hulk is Dr.Robert Bruce Banner, a physicist; Banner first became the Hulk when he was accidentally exposed to radiation from a gamma bomb of his own invention. Now, whenever Banner gets angry or his life is in danger, he transforms into the Hulk. Stan Lee says he was inspired by Dr.Jekyll and Mr.Hyde and Frankenstein's monster to create the Hulk. In a comic, Hulk became the Immortal Hulk. Also, Hulk is mentioned as the strongest avenger and one of the strongest Marvel characters.
