There is so much British common sense in your approach and so many great cooking tips. If only there were more people like you, the aged stereotype of "British people have shite food" would be forever banished. Please continue to unapologetically do what you do, and perhaps explore even braver cuisine from the islands in the future!
Thank you for the comment 😊 I really hope I can do my little part to help dispel myths about modern British food, and help people along the way 🙂 There's so much I want to explore in future videos, the list I have is only getting longer, never shorter 😀
English Breakfast looks great. I'm sorry that I didn't see this video until after I had my Sunday breakfast over here in Brooklyn on the other side of the pond. I eat a healthy size breakfast on Sunday, but to me the English Breakfast is big enough to be called a English Brunch. My wife sleeps in on Sunday, so this feast will be a nice surprise for her.
I'd never thought of using a cold pan, great tip. My Gran always put half a teaspoon of butter into the beans rather than butter the toast, I now can't eat beans any other way. Beans (with a little butter) with fried bread on it's own rather than a full English is still pretty good and one of the few vegetarian things I eat! Great video....
Thanks! Glad it was useful 😊 I’ll admit I often add butter to my beans too, and loving the idea of beans on fried bread rather than toast 😋 I feel like I might have to have that tomorrow! 😊
Wow! That''s an abundance of food. It looks more like an American portion. I'll try this the next time I'm in Asia and see it advertised in an English establishment. Although, I could never finish all of that in one sitting. Cheers.
Ross, loving this presentation. Reminds me of a time in South Africa, where a little restaurant on the water in Cape Town had a "traditional" English breakfast.
In Australia we are now doing more variety of sausages and finaly got a British style Cumberland. The common ones are beef originally, prok was what the British called sausages . Bacon yours is raw ours isn't when you buy it. We tend to fry or grill tomatoes same with mushrooms. We tend fry bread as a opinion. I love it personally but not the norm. We dont really add beans that would be a extra. Avocado might make a appearance for some. Your take on a British breakfast has flare you amped it up .very nice .🇦🇺👍😀
Thank you! 😊 I just went down a bit of a rabbit hole on Google looking up the differences between British and Australian bacon, very interesting (and a bit weird sounding to me but in a good way, I love the differences in cuisine around the world 😃).
To someone whose favorite breakfast is one over-medium fried egg in butter or olive oil on one slice of toast, and once in a while two slices of bacon, coffee with cream and honey and a 5oz glass of v-8 with lemon juice. This seems like a lot of food, but then I'm small and he's probably big.
Has it? It still seems to be a matter of some debate 😅. However I do agree that it doesn't significantly affect the flavour, my position is based on the fact that it's unnecessary and results in added work (either drying or extra cooking to remove additional water). Of course, you're in charge in your kitchen - if you want to wash them, have at it! 🙂
I hope your channel gets big. You started showing up in my feed randomly and I’m glad you did. Here’s hoping the algorithm works it’s magic!
Thank you so much for the kind comment! Glad you found the channel! 😊

Recently went it Australia and found they do a very good variant of an English breakfast at some hotels.
Nothing can beat a good English breakfast
Nice! I can imagine a good full English over there to be honest! 🇦🇺

Awesome! Hope you both enjoy the Full English Brunch!

Like you said, there's nothing like a full English, with crunchy fried bread, absolutely of the charts.👍👌💥
So true! Thanks for the comment! 🙂

It definitely is a lot of food. Certainly not an every day breakfast here, more of an occasional treat. Definitely worth a try if you can! 😃

Thanks! 😊 A little restaurant on the water serving a full English sounds like heaven! 🙂

For sure, this is a lot of food! Definitely not an everyday breakfast, more of an occasional (usually weekend) treat 🙂
@@RossBamford whew, you had me worried there for a minute. 😁😁😁 My bad.
Stay well stay strong stay cool 😎😎😎.
Looks perfectly cooked..
Thanks! Can't beat a breakfast 😋
Once again another great video… everything was cooked perfectly 👍
Are you a chef?
Thanks! 😊 it came together really well 🙂 I do have a little bit of background in food, but here I’m just a guy cooking stuff on the internet 😅
Everything about this video is simply perfect. Thank you.
Thank you! 😊 glad you liked it 👍
I'm traveling to London at the end of the month and I'm looking forward to trying this. Thanks. Any breakfast restaurant recommendations?
I haven’t been there myself, but I hear very good things about Terry’s Cafe: terryscafe.co.uk/menus/ . Hope you have a great trip!
Nice breakfast 👌
Thanks 😊 You can't beat a good fry-up IMO 👍
Its FEB time with R and very tasty it looks too
Haha thanks for the comment, I might start calling it the FEB now! 😁
Ross, Which oil are you using rather a lot of, please?
I used sunflower in the video, but any high-smoke-point oil will work 🙂
@@RossBamford Cheers Ross. Ant gorany sunflower but plenty of vegetable!!
🥳😂
Now I am hungry.......
Haha! Make yourself a full English! 😊
ok
“Bacon”…
😉
😅
Fried bread should have been done in the bacon juices instead of wiping away with kitchen roll
Good shout! That’s a thing I often do, but missed when developing this step-by-step. Thanks 🙂
Beans in a ramekin? Why?
Just logistics - I need some bigger plates 😅
I'm sorry, it's been proven, washing mushrooms does not harm the flavor unless you're soaking them in bad water.
